Mail Migration with two accounts with one BT ID

Has anyone been migrated to BT Mail that have two separate BT Accounts associated with just the one BT ID ?
Is this allowed under the new regime or if not what changes had to be made.

If you mean two or more BT mail accounts associated with one BT ID, then yes.
Though you can also separate one or more of your BT mail sub accounts to a completely different/new BT ID as well.
It's one of the options when you signed in for the first time once you were migrated to the BT mail system.
What's the problem you are having?
If you mean two different BT Retail (Consumer) accounts, ie with two different account numbers, then I'm not sure you can associate them with one BT ID account. However I could be wrong.

I accidentally set up two accounts.  One account with my old e-mail address which I've been using for years and has all of my purchases on it.  Now I have a new account with my current e-mail address. How do I disable this new account?  I need to disable the new e-mail address account so that I can add it as an additional e-mail to my old account.  THEN, how do I make this new e-mail address my primary e-mail for this old account?

Did yoo go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores and sign out and sign back in?

You can type the email using what you set in preferences and then highlight the text and use command - minus sign (or command - + for larger) to reduce the size of the text.
You can also type command - T and a window will appear allowing you to select fonts/sizes/color/ background highlight.
The above works in Notes also. I haven't tried to do this in any other Apple application.
For incoming emails, you can use the above to reduce font size, but I don't know of a way to permanently set the incoming font size to a default.

  • Can I have two accounts on one imac

can I have two accounts on one imac

You have no idea how happy i would be to be proved wrong on this .. there are loads of posts in the discussion forums saying its impossible. If you can point me to where we are going wrong it would be very much appreciated. This is what we have tried ...
    1. Create a 2 iTunes libraries on a single computer login (switching with the ALT key when starting itunes)
    2. Create a new user account on the computer, create an iTunes library on each individual login.
In each scenario, the same thing happens. We can
    - Start iTunes in the right library
    - Log in to the iTunes store etc with each account.
The problem comes as soon as you try to download a purchased item, ie if I buy a song on my iPhone then try to down load it from the "purchased items" of iTunes account it was purchased under. iTunes gives a message saying that if i download something bought under iTunes Account 2, iTunes account 1 will be disabled from downloading or auto-download for 90 days as "this computer is already associated with an Apple ID"
Should probably have put this into the origianl post for clarity, apologies. i didnt really mean "logged in", we can log in to each iTunes account from the different libraries, but we can use the purchasing or download functionality - hopefully this makes more sense.
If you know how to set this up properly, it would be amazing if you could share it here?
    Many thanks

  • HT202213 How do I get two accounts on one Mac to share the iTunes library?

I've consolidated two macs into one and successfully migraated everything EXCEPT access to the original account's iTunes library. I have turned on sharing on both accounts, but still cannot get the new account linked to the library. Of course apple is no help whatsoever on this - nothing i can find on the support site and unless I want to pay them $50 they won't even try to help. Anyone have any good ideas?/

With POP, there really isn't a good way.  POP is designed to download from the server only, deleting messages after they are downloaded.  While you can set it to not delete, there's no provision for uploading messages to the server.  You need an IMAP account, which allows full synchronization of the server with the mail client, across multiple machines.  Note that some mail accounts can be set up as either POP or IMAP...  check with BT Connect to see if that's the case with them.

  • Migration Assistant - two accounts

I bought a MacBook Pro for my wife and migrated her old account to the new notebook. I inadvertently set up the new system in a different name than that was on her old system (maiden vs married name). Therefore I now have to two accounts on the new system and really wanted one. The old account has all the old apps and not all the new stuff. Whereas, i can't access her itunes music library, etc on the new account. Is there a way to rename the new system and combine to the two or access files, etc from the old and bring over?

I've got the same problem. I set up a "new" account name (used 'Bob' instead of 'Robert') when prompted by my brand new Mac Pro 3.2 Ghz, then migrated all my stuff from my old Mac. I ended up with two accounts on my new system.
'Bob' account has none of my files. 'Robert' account has my files, iTunes lib., etc. but does not have full administrator privileges. for example, today I had to log out of 'Robert' and back into 'Bob' in order to have privileges to update the Mac OS.
    Major hassle.

  • How do you get two accounts on one computer?

I have my two different devices with two different accounts. Is there anyway to get both libraries on one computer? I've tried a few things but I can't figure out how to do it. Any tips?

  • Setup two accounts in one iTunes library on one iMac

    Hi,
I do not seem to get iTunes configured to accept input/sync from two different accounts (my wife's and mine) without iTunes saying it is associated with one other apple ID (mine).
I ultimately want iTunes to contain the full library of music at one location, where we can then share the music via playlists to our separate devices.

That limitation refers to when you try to re-download media or use iTunes Match with multiple Apple IDs.  In that regard it is highly desirable to always have all purchases backed up on a local drive so you never have to re-download from Apple.  If you wish to combine media then simply drag it from the other user's media folder to the iTunes window you want to use.  You may, however, encounter permissions issues.  There is too little background information on your current arrangement for a concise answer.

  • Two accounts on one computer but only one itunes works

I used the directions for creating two user accounts on one computer when my son got a new itouch.  I have an itunes account for my iphone.  I then created a new user account and downloaded itunes to second account for son's itouch.  I can't access itunes store from the new user account.  My account for an iphone will access itunes store.  When I click itunes store, the loading signal comes up at the top of the page as if loading but it never loads.
I have tried reinstalling?  Updating quicktime.
Any idea what may be stopping the access?  I use firefox as the default for my account but have not loaded it onto the new account.... could that be a problem?
    What's wrong?

Possibly it registered incorrectly once (who knows why), and now it thinks that is the right way. From what I understand all of the correct songs are still on your iPod though. In iTunes, single click on the incorrectly named iPod, then click again (kinda a delayed double click), then rename the iPod. From what I picked out of your post, they are both the same kind of iPod with the same amount of memory. If that's not the case, post back.
    As for the songs skipping...

    I hope this helps!

  • Two accounts on one email address?

On September 14, I started getting emails from Skype in Hungarian. I translate the message, it says
    Welcome (someones username),
You have a new voice message!
All the links in the the email look legit, they all go to the skype.com root domain or subdomain of skype.com. The message also says to log into skype to listen to the message.
The username in the email is not mine. If I search for the username, it looks like it is a real account.
How is it possible for someone to sign up to skype with an email address already being used for skype, or how is it possible for someone to change their email address without confirming it is their email address?
This is a security problem... I could probably reset this users password right now.
    How do I fix this?

You don't need two accounts. Just use the same one.
If you need two accounts then get one of the free one available, hotmail, yahoo, gmail, and so forth.

  • Two Accounts in One iTunes?

Is there a way to have two accounts all appearing in one iTunes window and syncing with one iPod?
I sometimes want to download audiobooks for professional purposes and use my work credit card, yet most of my downloads are of music for personal use. It would be great if I could switch between two different credit cards.
This is VERY important if I get an iPhone, as I plan to do in the next few weeks. My company (well, a church; I'm a minister) pays my mobile phone bill. I really don't want to have that on my personal credit card every month, then have to turn it in to our office manager for reimbursement.
So, two accounts would seem great, but then do I have two "iTunes" on one computer?
    Craig

    Just use iTunes.
When you log in to make a purchase, simply use the appropriate iTunes Login ID (work or personal).

  • Two accounts on one computer? (Using it as an iTunes server)??

I want to set up a music server at home that is on all the time so that the other two computers can access the music, so is it possible to have two different accounts on the same server so that the music is available all the time, or should I make the server the main iTunes account and allow access to the other two machines?
Right now we have two accounts, one on each machine and both have to be on to access the music from each others machines.

I have 2 accounts on my Windows XP Operating System. Each account has its own seperate ipod. When one user downloads music, the other user cannot see the downloaded music in their itunes, even with the shared library checked. Any suggestions?

  • I have more music than 25,000 songs, can I have two accounts under one apple ID?

Is there a way to add more songs or a second account to one apple ID?

Just to be clear, iTunes Store purchases made with the same Apple ID being used for iTunes Match do not count towards the 25,000 song limit.
