Mail misbehaving - very annoying

Hoping someone may be able to help me.
I have Mac Mail on my G5 with three separate accounts on it. Everything has been fine, until my router needed replacing. Since I have a new router, each one of my three mail accounts randomly asks for the password. I receive a message saying that the POP server at my ISP has rejected the password. I type the password in and that's the problem solved - until it comes on again. In between the alert message coming up my Mail behaves as normal - I can send emails no problem
Each account checks mail every five minutes but this message only comes up probably every 30 mins or so.
I've been in touch with my ISP and they've confirmed that all my accounts are configured correctly with the right POP and SMTP details.
Any suggestions as to what I can do?

    still cant send from my work e-mail account which is annoying as this is why I bought the thing!
    It tries to send with the bar at the bottom going half way but then says "connection to the server was lost" so irritating!

    Back up all data.
    Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
    Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
    If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
    Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select Change Settings for Keychain "login". In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
    From the menu bar, select
    Keychain Access ▹ Preferences ▹ First Aid
    If the box marked Keep login keychain unlocked is not checked, check it.
    Select
    Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
    from the menu bar and repair the keychain. Quit Keychain Access.

    I have a very annoying problem that occurs since 1-2 years. Now I want to get finally rid of this.
    I bought the app "AllSport GPS" via BlackBerry App World in 2010. After the uninstallation of this app due to new devices one or two years ago I have the following problem:
    On each (!) update of my list in the BlackBerry World app or after the reset and reload of the content of installed app I receive 1-5 (different amount) of mails with the following content:
    AllSport GPS license key for your BlackBerry
    Thank you for purchasing AllSport GPS from BlackBerry App World.  The license key for your device is:
    XXXXXXXXXX
    This is VERY annoying! I also informed the publisher of the app (Trimble Outdoors) but they told me to contact BlackBerry. During the last 1-2 years - because I often refresh and look after new updates for my apps (I have many installed on my device) - I received, no fake, hundreds (!) of this annoying mails!
    I bought the app with my older 9700 or 9790. In the meantime, on my Bold 9790, the app is not available any longer for this, so it is not shown in my BlackBerry World environment. In this case I could make a new clear installation and deletion of the app. But this is not possible.
    It would be great if anybody of BlackBerry is reading this and could reset or delete the resending of this mail.
    Are there other other thay also have this problem? Any suggestions?

    Actually, this is a user-to-user forum. There are some BlackBerry employees who read these posts, but in most case you are only talking to other BlackBerry users.
    So to solve your question, you will need somebody from BlackBerry, as most other users will not really be able to solve the problem. If you contacted BlackBerry Support, I guess the best thing is to wait for their answer. You can try tweeting to @BlackBerryHelp, in some cases they can reply to you faster. Or you can have their attention much faster.
    I find it weird myself that you haven't contacted them before, as you say the problem is since a couple of years now.
    I am afraid that you will not receive a lot more information on this forum (as this is a rather specific problem in my opinion). Except maybe if one of the BlackBerry employees on this forum notices this post.
    I hope your problem is solved soon!

    I satisfied xperia z2 product but not satisfied sony’s poor after sales support.

    Hi, Sony is correct with regards to different accessories being avaible in different countries......with regards to the magnetic charger have you looked at other forms of purchasing it from other retailers for instance Amazon or eBay etc?
    Not 100% sure which online retailers are available where you live but i'm sure there must be some retailers offering it.

  • Microsoft Word redrawing with external projector is very annoying

    Hi:
    I have a MacBook Pro with 2Ghz and 1.5 GB RAM. I usually connect a Sony projector as a second display to review documents in collaboration with others. While using MS Word (in Page View) with "Track Changes" enabled, the screen redraws every time I make a change on the document, which is very annoying.
    This also happens when I am not connected to the projector (i.e. using the built-in display).
    I am guessing this has something to do with processor speed, graphics card and/or the fact that Office is still not a Universal Binary application.
    Does anyone know how I can minimize the annoying redrawing?

  • I think there is a very annoying bug after the latest update of firefox, can I talk to someone, or chat with someone so I can get rid of it

    Since the latest auto update of my firefox browser I am experiencing strange issues. Every evening when I stop working, I close my browser (closing all the tabs that I am working on and in the morning, I restore the session) . For many years everything worked just fine ... untill after the last auto update of the firefox browser .. all of a sudden a got 302 errors ( a blank page with the description 302 and I believe "page moved here" or something to that extend ... i try to click the link and get nowhere.
    I first noticed it on a few wordpress pages (backend ) that I was working on and which were restored from the previous day ...
    thinking it was a server error, since we have several vps and dedicated servers .. i contacted the company who hosts our servers ..
    they looked into it and apparently .. there were no issues on the server side and neither on that particular computer ... but our server hosts told us .. that it is probably browser related and seemed to have something to with a bug with the cache of the browser
    we didn't know what to do .. it was very annoying .. but at that point it only happened once on a hew pages .. so we decided to see what happened the next time
    Next time we did not restore a session with wordpress pages .. but with the google search engine open and on a few other tabs logged into social media .... and as was saidn by our server hosts it was indeed not related to work that we did on pages on our servers ... since that time even the google search engine homepage ... showed us ... moved here
    Can you pease look into it and fix this .. we are doing the same thing as many years on the same computer also a few years .. so it is not anything we do wrong either .. it is most definitely browser related
    so can you please fix it asap .. since when we work on wordpress .. that is not the only thing that goes wrong .. we also have difficulty uploading updates ... when updating sometimes after the update of any particular change on a wordpress page is done ... we are also redirected to a blank page .. so the updated page does not want to load ... in that case we have use our back button ...
    which sends us back to the right page ... but with the old data on it ... then we have to refresh that page .. and only then we see the page updated ... so it seems that there is an issue in both direction with the caching of the browser after the last update

    uninstalled firefox ....deleted all files still remaining under mozilla firefox directory in program files ... to avoid having to reprogram all my settings, reisntall all addons as well .. I did not remove anything from mozilla firefox that is stored in either appdata or under the windows users directory (if any)
    ... the as suggested reinstalled the latest version of the firefox browser using the link you provided in the email ..; tested and several issues still remain present and unresolved ....
    so please this is urgent or I will have to jump browsers and start using chrome .. because we work 14 hours a day 6 (sometimes 7) days a week, to get ready for the launch of our newest venture and we cannot lose that much days on browser related issues ... so please instead of putting me through week long step process .. of do this .. do that .. can you please actually look into the issue from your end .. I use firefox for so many, many years thta I deserve this kind of support .. thnx Robert

    I am very annoyed at the Creative Cloud set up and the non-stop issues and problems!  I am paying monthly for this service and it is constantly failing in some way!  So far in three months I have had to uninstall and re-install Photoshop THREE times because it stopped working properly and Illustrator I have had to do that same to TWICE!  That isn't including the other apps that have had issues!  I don't have the time to constantly be un-installing and re-installing all or some of the Creative Cloud because your developers are not making a product that works consistently for the money you are charging!  It is costing me more than just this monthly fee!  And I am even less impressed with the fact that I cannot email someone for assistance in resolving these issues.  Really Adobe?

    DVD drives read the bottom of the disk, not the top. Smooth out the paper & try again.

    You actually cannot do anything to your ipad when its locked but look at pictures the time and date, you need to restore it, and if it dosent let you restore, good luck chuck Heres how to restore it: Okay, i only know the itunes way soz, lol. Try to connect your ipad to itunes, if it does let you then you should be able to select the device you have in the corner somewhere, once you do that you should see a screen that looks sort of like your ipads setting, you should have a button that says "Restore" click that and your ipad should be restored. If that dosent work you should try going to your regular office depot or something. Good Luck!

    I updated to iOS 8 on my iPhone 5 yesterday and now when I press the home button even once, it opens the app switcher (which is supposed to only open after pressing the home button twice quickly). Sometimes pressing the home button once even brings up the assistive button (which for me should take three button presses). This did not happen before I updated my software. Has anyone else had this issue? Know how to stop it? Very annoying and at this point feel like I should have waited before I did the update.

    Hello ..do you have a history on the phone? did you get it wet? was it dropped? have you been using an authentic ORIGINAL apple charging cable?
    this problem occurs when there is a short circuit  in the phone... you  most likely got  it wet at some point and maybe didnt even realize it? The moisture in the phone hasb probablly  oxidized one or several capacitors, integrated chips thereby short circuiting the phone. that is why he phone  is acting erratic because these short circuits inadvertently "activates" other circuits.. eventually the phone will not turn on anymore- the heat will stress the citcuit board and you will have discontinuity along your main power lines and the phone will cease to function..i see this alllll the time in our shop
    the fact you upgraded to ios6 will even work the phone harder because its a more powerful operating system taking full advantage of the A4 chip..

    If they were put there via iTunes sync process, then simply untick the Music box before syncing again.

  • Very Annoying EXPORT problems

    The first time i installed Lightroom, all the things went well, but i don't know why, one day i tried to export a photo and it appeared one of those common errors with "Send Error Report/Don't Send Error Report".
    I can't do anything besides the preset export settings. I installed windows again, and the first thing i did besides installing the correct drivers for my pc, was to install Lightroom. I tried all versions of Lightroom, including Lightroom 2 Beta. I don't know why it worked once, and after a while it didn't work. If it never worked i could have said that my pc is a mess, and i need a new one, but why did it work at that time? (i tried to go back with all the installations i made since it worked, but nothing).
    I really need help, because it's a very annoying problem.

    Welcome to the forum.
    Have you tried to repair permissions using Disk Utility, and trashed GB's ".plist" and ".cs" files, then restarted the computer?
    And about the looping, just do it in GB and avoid all this mess. LOL!

    Have you looked at Safari's menu bar > view> toolbars to see if it can be unchecked from there,also see if there is a button to collapse the toolbar on the bar itself.

  • How do i turn off the STUPID gestures? every time i quickly scroll a large page i get switched to previous sites i've been at, very, very annoying! i hate gestures!

    i'm using firefox 4.0 on an amd cpu running suse linux 11.4. i've completely turned off the gestures in suse (one of the first things i do, i can move a mouse very quickly and i like it to be a mouse!), i can't find a plugin or setting to turn these damn things off. the main problem is when i use the scroll wheel to rapidly move up or down a long web page and wind up on another page suddenly, very, very annoying! i really, really HATE gestures! then again i know how to use buttons etc. and i do mouse very quickly and creatively ( i also turn off several other "conveniances" like automatic window resizing, i know how to manage windows.....) thanks, i really, really hate these "features" being on by default, people with certain disabilites are probably also highly annoyed by the lack of choice in some procucts.
    you really, really need to provide easy access to more settings, as evidenced by the number of extensions aimed at providing control to users. thanks
