Mail not working.. just "thinking"...Help PLEASE!

My email is not working, I have restarted my computer, tried opening my email from the launchpad instead of the desktop, and I have tried so many different things that seem to be "common sense". Please help! When I open Mail, it looks very normal, pulls all of my folders up (although I cant open them), and my mailboxes etc. But then the spinning wheel never goes away AND it never gives me an error sign or anything. Then when I close out of it and try to quit, it wont. I have to force shut it down. It worked yesterday just fine! I use this for work, and so its super important I find out a way to get my emails again and use this like I always do... Thank you!!!!!!

Verify/repair the startup disk (not just permissions), as described here:
The Repair functions of Disk Utility: what's it all about?
Now, go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Network > Show: Network Port Configurations, and make sure that the configuration used to connect to Internet appears at the top of the list.
Finally, try launching Mail under the following conditions (you may need to force quit it first if it’s running):
1. Holding the Shift key down until the main window appears.
2. With no Internet connection.
Post back with your observations.

nevermind, managed to sort it although i have now lost everything, never again will i have a sony phone, pile of junk is probably the nicest term i can think of for them, this happened with mine, and my partners was broken (somehow screen smashed without any assistance) within 2 weeks of having it. samsung all the way!

Camera isn't functioning or has undesired image quality

I used to have a Nokia E55- my hotmail was working properly, and when ever i receive an email, it synchronize it directly to my mobile phone. but when i changed my mobile model to Nokia E 72, it could not work at all!!! even my gmail too.
the steps are as follows:
1-enter Email application.
2-create a new mailbox
3-start (preparing for setup)
4- i choose whether Windows live hotmail or Gmail
5-i place my email and password.
then nothing happens?!?!?!!?!?!?!?
why??? i don't know

Your device has to be online with the NM server to delete the mailbox.

Imy iPhone sounds are not working. Any help please

I have an iPhone 4s. I Powered it offhand when I opened it again all the sounds like the keyboard sounds and the sound u here when u unlock the phone. Even the music in games are not working. However, when I listen to music or watch videos on YouTube there are no problems. Any help please??

All the contacts sync configuration has been done, first I configured the iTunes to sync with outlook but nothing happen, then change to Gmail but same.

Wireless card not working... help please!!!!!!!!!!

oh please help. got this Agere orinoco silver wireless PC card for the titanium. OS 10.2.8.
Card doesn't light up on insert (although someone told me they aren't supposed to). The card shows up in the desktop menu bar (only gives me the option of powering off the card). I've tried the SourceForge wireless driver and the demo of the IOXperts driver. Both claim they work great with this card and this computer and this OS. am I crazy, or is my card a dud?

I have the Orinoco Gold that I used with my old Wallstreet. The card has two lights. One goes on when activated and one blinks showing wireless activity. I suspect your Silver should behave similarly. The IOxperts driver is supposed to work. Have you checked System Profiler to see if the card is recognized? Have you rerstarted the powerbook? I believe the card should be inserted when the powerbook is shut down. Post back. FWIW, there are 11g cards out there that will work just fine.

SWF Not Working...Help Please :(

So I've been having an issue with a SWF not work on a page and this is what I can seem to come up with after hours of messing with Dreamweaver and Flash trying to understand why it won't work. When i test the movie from the working Flash file, it works no problem. Something is going wrong when I export or publish the movie and it no longer works. Is this something that happens?
Your help is much appreciated...this site needs to go up in the next day or so and the SWF was working and then stopped working and I'm honestly not a Flash gal so I really have no business messing with it, but it was a specific request. Thanks!

One thing that might be an issue as far as the web page goes it that the html specifies a file named carousel2.swf which does not appear to exist on the server and is not the same name as the file you are calling the swf in your swf link (*carousel3.swf).
Without knowing what goes on inside carousel3, or carousel 2 for that matter, it's hard to say if it is missing the xml file that it might need. But for either case, are you certain that you have uploaded the xml file that is needed?

Safari Not Working?! Help Please.

Okay so when I plug it in it takes ages to respond and start charging. (iPhone 3G)
I have got the newest software. And safari won't work either.

Did you try to reset your phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back?
If this does not work, try to restore "as new iphone" without using the backup, maybe some files are corrupted.
Does Safari get faster if you connect to Wi-Fi? According to your screenshot you're not using Edge when accessing the internet, a slower data connection can make the phone act less responsible to inputs while trying to establish a connection.

We've used the magic quick selection tool lots and most of the time it works well.

It's the Quick Selection Tool in Photoshop Elements 9 and I'm trying to get the background and make it another layer so I can even out the color of the background then bring down the transparency. Not sure if that makes sense. I'm new to this.... Sometimes the area it will grab can go ...not fast.. but not slow. Sometimes it's like it's just messed up and literally takes 30 seconds to process each move. I rebooted my computer and re opened it and it helped a little. It's not clear what causes it when it messes up and when it doesn't. Just frustrating. It's probably user error because I'm so new at Photoshop. Thanks for your input. I really appreciate it.

I have upgraded to 10.10.3 on my MacBook Pro now the Calendar is not working properly. Help please?!?

Yesterday I upgraded my MacBook Pro 13" (Early 2013) to 10.10.3. I immediately started having problems with it opening apps slowly. So I read and discovered it had replaced some of my apps with newer versions. I also restarted it 2 or 3 times. That seemed to solve that problem. This morning I get on and it is doing the same thing, but it is limited to the Calendar. Anything I try to do in the Calendar gets me the spinning beachball, from opening it to editing to adding an event. I have many dates and events saved that I don't want to lose. Am I going to have to reinstall the Calendar? If so, how can I do it without losing my content?

I did not have a specific category that said "log list" once I got to "All Messages". It just showed "Log" so that is what I am sending you. The other thing is that the timestamp is 9:23:?? the next is 9:34:?? and the problem occurred at 9:32:??. So you are getting the log from 9:23 until it repeats.

B540p double problem: loud noise and not working touch! Help please!

Hello! I've bought an IdeaCentre B540pa (57314172) just 5 days ago. And suddenly two problems appeared. 1) My touch has ghost touching or self-touching. It's impossible to do anything. Sometimes for 5-10 minutes touch works ok, I can do things with fingers. But most of time it looks like a vertical line of self-touching fingerprints at the right side of lcd panel. 2) Even under little load my cooling fans going crazy! Diagnostic software shows diode gp (gt650m?) is overheated. Instantly temp rises till 93-95 degrees Celcium. Doesn't matter what I'm doing: surfing, or listening, or watching video. Due to something (they don't say why) local Lenovo service can't do repair. They say it's faulty motherboard and touch panel. They don't want to do a warranty repair. Instead they say to return my b540 back to shop, so the shop had that mess. But I want to try something by myself to repair, do something. 1) I opened back panels of b540 and now I see that when I push ON button to start the desktop a red diode is lighting up on touch board controller (a little board in the bottom middle). Is it normal or must be replaced? Will it solve the touch screen problem? 2) Recently I've read here at the forum, that people had similar problems with overheating. And that their problem was solved only with motherboard replacing. Is this the only solution? Of course I can return my desktop to the shop, and they will refund me. But I've paid 600$ for that b540, and there is no similar great desktops in that price range. At least in my city in Russia. They have b550 models, but they twice the price of my b540. I want to do something, make it work, and enjoy it with full specs: touchscreen, silent cooling, big screen etc. Please, help me deal with my thoughts and my b540p!

It's is very strange problem with touch. Right now, when I'm writing this the "auto-touch" or "selftouch", whatever name it, is zooming, moving page in the browser, and trying to make my life worse. The only way is to disable HID-compatible device is Device Manager. Another way is to have two or three fingers of a hand at the glass panel surface. It's strange but this action makes selftouch be under control. At least it stops zooming, moving. There is a little focus/unfocus problem, like screen is loosing and finds focus. Text goes a bit smaller, and again becomes bigger. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

Graphics card not working/detecting ~Help Please!

So, I recently started to upgrade my computer. I bought an HP computer the: Hp p7-1414
The only thing that has been changed inside of it is the Power Supply, which i upgraded to 700 watts.

Apply the latest BIOS updates that are posted for your PC. It describes a black screen condition. Version 8.19 includes the 8.18 fixes. You will need to disable Secure Boot.
