Mail not working.. no error message

Good day everyone!
I have a problem since two days now. I have mail not updating email received and not sending email either. Tried the "Connection Doctor", and it says connections are ok. I have no problems to open and type a new message, but looks like the message is never sent, there is no copy in the sent folder. I have tried to send messages from my account to me, doesn't work. Then, from outside (a yahoo account) without any result.
However, I never got a message saying that the message can not be send or what ever...
Any ideas?

I am also having a problem, but mine is worse...I can't even get mail to open. The Mail window opens, but then I get the spinning wheel and nothing else. Is there a way to reload mail and not the entire Tiger OS? I can check my email accounts online, but I prefer to use Mac mail.

Drag the Word icon back to where it belongs.
Applications > Microsoft Office 2011 > Put Word there.
I'm assuming you have Office 2011. If you have 2008 there should be a similar location to put Word.

Database mail not sending no error messages

SQL server 2008 R2
Database mail was up and running until sometime last week. It seemed to quit in the middle of a long list of emails. We had network issues at this same time that might have contributed to the issue.
Everything checks out ok today but I cannot send a test email. I do not see any error messages or 'db mail starting up' messages in the log.
I do see the Email in the sysmail_unsentitems view.
I do not receive any error messages.
I tried setting up a secondary account and that did not make a differnce.
I tried stopping the mail service with EXEC msdb.dbo.sysmail_start_sp and the query never completes. I canceled after > 5 minutes
I deleted many unsent and one retrying message from the queue. I see those actions in the log.
Is there any thing else I can try?

Have you worked through the troubleshooting steps in the following BOL Topic to validate that the external executable is activating, and the queue status is correctly returning RECEIVES_OCCURRING:

Also have you tried increasing your retry configuration parameters to handle the larger mail queue that you are sending through?

Download link from order e-mail not working 'page error'

I ordered Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 & Adobe Premiere Elements 10 back in Nov2011. I downloaded both to learn I needed the 64 bit version. When I had time I downloaded Photoshop Elements 64 bit and got my project done. Now I went back to get my 64 bit version of Premiere but the link no longer works. On the order it says you can re-download anytime. I sign in to my Adobe Account, go to Order History, hover over download - I see the address in my browser status bar at bottom left. When I click on download the the status bar displays the yellow triangle with the warning message 'page error' when you expand the message it indicates a address is not working. I tried turning my firewall off - didn't have to do that before - but same message. There must be a link where paying customers can get the proper download? Everything I find is for the trial version. Is there a link? Why do the links in the order e-mail expire? Thanks in advance!

OK, I finally worked around the issue. Right click on the word download – then select open in new window. Not sure why this worked – but it did. Jeff, the alternate download option does appear on the second page that loads AFTER you get past the initial download link. Though once I got there I was able to use the primary download for 64 bit. Thanks all for looking at this. J potter, try this and see if it helps.

I did not know the SLG1 and SM13 transaction.
I found what I was looking for in the table et_bapireturn .
In fact there was message containing message of type A.
A means Aborted.
The message tells you which fields is making trouble.

ITunes not working, no errors messages

So my iTunes recently just stopped working. I click on the icon for it, then there's a loading thing next to the mouse arrow, then nothing happens. I tryed to download it again and it replaced all the files, and still nothing happens. No error messages or anything. Should I just delete iTunes then reinstall it? I realize this may just be my computer's fault, but any help or advice would be awesome, considering I've gone a week without iTunes and I'm starting to freak out.

Actually, that's exactly what happens, itunes.exe shows up, then disappears after a second or two.
gaah. that sounds suspiciously like the malware. (it appears to be a variant of Qoologic that most scanners aren't picking up.)
you can get some temporary relief (in terms of launching itunes) by using the following technique:

... you're especially on the look-out for weird 4- and 6-letter items that don't get any hits when you google on the names (the names are randomly generated).
getting rid of the beast properly is tricky. we've got a manual procedure that has been working for some people:

but if you're getting no joy with that, try:
(1) "submitting" a sample of the beast to your commercial antispyware/antivirus packages' manufacturer
(2) visiting one of the reputable heavy-duty-malware-removal forums to see if they can help you get rid of it.

Photoshop CC 2014 (same happens in illustrator). Filter gallery (not greyed out, file is regular 8bit rgb) will not work. Error message "the operation could not be completed". Tried throwing out preferences etc.

The specific text of the error message is very important here — I'm not sure exactly you're encountering here.
If you're able to connect to your email server and are able send email to other email addresses and if the failures are specific to one email recipient address, then please contact the intended recipient of the failing email, and confirm their address is valid. (This is the way I'm reading your question.)
If you are unable to send any email to any other email addresses and this is specific to your email address, then try the web mail client interface (if one is available) to verify your login user and password, and check with your email ISP for assistance. If your email password works via web mail, follow this Apple troubleshooting guide, then — if everything else fails — I'd probably then entirely remove the email account from Mail.app and re-add it per your email ISP's particular setup requirements. (Some issue with the setup or maybe a corrupt setting in OS X or a problem at the mail ISP servers is a common problem, but this effects attempts to send to all email addresses via that account.)
An email account setup is specific to an email provider, unfortunately. If you're using one of the more common email ISPs, then there are usually setup guides and frequently-asked questions posted online.

If so, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.

Try to force quit the mail app
Double tap the home button. When you see the app previews on the screen scroll sideways if needed to get the preview in question on the screen. Flick that preview up and off the screen to close the app. Single tap the home button or home screen preview to exit the mode.
Failing that, go into the settings, mail, contacts and calendars and remove your account info then put it back in and see if that works
