Mail Notifications from Runtimedna Forums being blocked

I was receiving email notifications for Forum Threads I subscribed to at Runtimedna.com. Then, I upgraded to Yosemite from OS 10.9.5. I no longer get notifications. I sent a message to the Forum Administrator. Here is the response I got (below). I don't know how to solve this. What can I do?

It looks like anything from us is probably being blocked. You need to talk to your ISP provider.

Just to correct a couple of points above: It's called "AT&T Connected." The supposedly tech-support expert person did start off by saying I had a virus. I spent yesterday scanning my entire drive. He said the virus was in Safari and Runtimedna.com was spamming the browser and redirecting me each time I tried to type in a site's name, redirecting to its own site, Runtimedna.com. I told him that was not the problem. Then, he started in about "AT&T Connected," and wanted me to sign up for that. We're already paying $30 per month for the ISP service, but adding the "Connected" part to it would bring it up to $45 per month. He gave me no further help. He wanted me to sign up right away. Then, after I said I would have to talk this over with someone else in the house, he left me his name and a 1-866 number so that I could call him back and sign up.
Previously, before talking with him, I had talked to a woman representative about this problem, and that's after I got beyond the computer who answers and directs people to info on the AT&T web site. The woman said she would pass the situation on, took my phone number and other information, and said that a tech-support expert would call me.

    Websites generated by Aperture are being blocked by our companies filter and being labeled as pornographic. Needless to say, they're not in the least bit pornographic. We've contacted IT to allow the site but I post here to try to figure out why that would happen.
    The service we seem to use is called Blue Coat but I have no idea how it decides what's offensive and what isn't. There's nothing offensive in the names we've used for the images. The images themselves are not offensive or even questionable.
    Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get around this?

    You could turn off the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security:
    Open Server Manager, Click Server Manager -> Security Information -> IE Enhanced Security Configuration

  • Problem encountered while sending a mail notification from BPEL process

    Hi All,
    I am fresher in BPEL world, I am trying to send a notification mail to user using BPEL process. I had done all the configuration needed for mail notification process given in the developer guide.
    I am able send a notification mail to intended recipent and also able to receive response activity from the BPEL process.
    but, I am getting the following error in the server console.

    I want to know in DDMI the mail notification is generating or not?
    I mean to say that if any changes done in our environment (lets say memory size increases) then after monitoring the mail notification would be triggered or not, if yes then please give the steps for the same.

  • Ignoring Mail Notifications from especified users

    Hi,
    I configured Calendar Server and IWC to send mail using Postfix ATM. It works!
    The problem now is, the users who more has used the service, add a new event and the notifications are not sent.
    A new User, add a new event and the MTA respons:

    Ok, I have a workarround:
    when I installed convergence, i wanted to configure iwc to have 'EnableInviteNotify' enable by default. in the iwc configuration.xml i edited:

                                <icsExtendedUserPrefs-ceEnableNotifySMS v="false"/>
                                <icsExtendedUserPrefs-ceEnableNotifyPopup v="true"/>
                                <icsExtendedUserPrefs-ceEnableInviteNotify v="true"/>then the checkbox of "Send notifications" in Calendar Notifications Options is checked by default to all users.
    so, I back to the old configuration:
    <icsExtendedUserPrefs-ceNotifyEnable v="0"/>
                                <icsExtendedUserPrefs-ceEnableNotifySMS v="false"/>
                                <icsExtendedUserPrefs-ceEnableNotifyPopup v="false"/>
                                <icsExtendedUserPrefs-ceEnableInviteNotify v="false"/>Now, the user have to re-check manually the "Send notifications" in Calendar Notifications Options.
    Now, All e-mails notification are sent.
    Where can i report the bug?, because when the user enable/disable this checkbox doesnt appear the ajax "change message".

    The easiest is to use UTL_MAIL - available from 10g onwards. If you're on 11g, you also need an ACL (Access Control List) entry to allow PL/SQL code to step outside the database and connect to an external server.

    Message no. IM258
    Diagnosis
    This refers to an error in central status management.
    Task status
    The central status management connection at task level will only be supported from Release 3.0.
    For this reason, no task status is available for statuses created before changing to Release 3.0, and status change is therefore also not possible.
    Procedure
    In the case of task statuses of notifications in releases prior to 3.0:
    When you save a notification you can create a status for the tasks.
    In the case of notification or task statuses for notifications from Release 3.0:
    Please refer to your system administrator.

    Is there a way in 10.5.1 Mail for OS X that I can be notified when a recipient (s) has read an email that I have sent them? If not, is there a mail plugin or some kind of utility that will perform this action?

    the short answer is no you cannot do that in Leopard Mail. the long answer is yes i think you can do that but that means dealing with the preference list with a preference list editor and manually creating/editing preferences to enable this feature - you would have to do a google search to find links that will help you with that. i will add that even if you do this, the work around will be full proof as getting a notification will depend on the recipient's email client which sometimes does not acknowledge the request for notification...

  • Messages from my computer being blocked by my router

    I keep seeing the following messages in my routers log. They are only coming from my powerbook's IP:
    [INFO] Sat Apr 01 22:56:44 2006 Blocked outgoing TCP packet from <my ip:port> to <an outside ip:port> as RST:ACK received but there is no active connection
    [INFO] Sat Apr 01 22:55:40 2006 Blocked outgoing TCP packet from <my ip:port> to <outside ip:port> as FIN:ACK received but there is no active connection
    They aren't occasional. Last night i show almost 70 in a row to only two ips over ten minutes. I wasn't able to trace these 2. I've been noticing this for a couple days, but I am sure thats just because I have been looking. A few i have been able to use the network utility and find out the domain and some of those have been sites I had been looking at in Safari. Others were not.
    What is my computer doing? Mine seems to be the only ip registering this kind of activity in my router's log.
    Powerbook G4 1.5ghz   Mac OS X (10.4.5)  

    I should have asked what the destination port is...
    but anyway, have you tried running tcpdump to see the
    traffic? It might provide a clue. If you're not
    familiar with it, you will have to open a Terminal
    window and type:
    sudo tcpdump -v
    and enter the administrative password when prompted.
    To get more detail, add more "v"s, e.g.
    sudo tcpdump -vvv
    will give you lots of information.

    Hi Karol,
    It is possible to enable E-Mail notification when the User has been locked. There is a UME property namely <b>ume.notification.lock_performed</b> that has be set the value <b>TRUE</b> in the Visual Admin.

  • Rule containing "Mark as Read" and "Move to Folder" does not remove New Mail Notification

    They passed the buck to this forum.  Can anyone help?  Here is my original post:
    I have set up a rule so that emails from a certain sender should be marked as 'read' and routed to a certain folder.  The rule works just fine except for the fact that it does not remove the new mail notification from the taskbar icon
    or the system tray.  The rule reads as follows:
    Apply this rule after the message arrives
    with New Home Sale in the subject
    move it to the _New Home Sales folder
      and mark it read
    Once I open the _New Home Sales folder, all messages are marked as read, as they should be.  When I open any of the emails in this folder, the notification goes away.  It does not even have to be the most recent email or the same folder
    - opening any email from any folder clears the notification, even if the same email was used to clear it before.  Previewing does not remove the notification.  
    I have a similar rule set up for another folder:
    Apply this rule after the message arrives
    with New Home Final Sale in the subject
    move it to the _New Home Final Sales folder
      and mark it as read
    The same thing happens here with the unread notification.
    This is very annoying, as I want to receive these emails but I do not need to know every time one comes in.
    Does anyone have any advice on this?  I have read a few threads about an unread email bug, but I'm hoping I'm just missing a setting somewhere. I find it hard to believe such a bug would persist this long.

    From your description, I would like to verify the Exchange version and Outlook version at first. Since I have a test in my environment using Exchange 2010 with Outlook 2010. I create a same inbox rule, it works and there is no new mail notification from
    the taskbar.
    What's more, I recommend you use Outlook safe mode to determine whether the problem is caused by add-ins.
    If the issue persists, please install the Outlook latest Service Packs and check the result.

    When EMET blocks an action or denies access by an application, does it always give you some sort of notification that something is being blocked? Or does it sometimes block things in the background without letting you know?

    a message is displayed for the user, stating which application is being stopped and which mitigation has been used to stop the exploit. In case of a Certificate Trust violation, it shows details about the untrusted SSL certificate on the current HTTPS connection.
    However it seems that EMET does not always shows a notification and the logged information is not always the same.
