Mail page on iPad is not responding is blank

While working normally,one day the mail page went blank and does not respond. Is there any easy solution to this problem?

Try closing the Mail app completely and then if it's okay when you re-open it : from the home screen (i.e.not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

The Pages password protects the contents of the document. If there were a Finder password, it would protect what you might think of as the "file wrapper" ... the stuff around the file content.
Glad it's not vital. I have to say I only pasword protect those Pages documents that are, in fact, vital.

HT5457 I have added this latest download to my iPad and now the iPad will not respond

I have updated my iPad with the latest version iOS 6 download and now my iPad only has the Apple icon displayed. I have attempted to to hold both buttons at the same time and the screen bounces a strange lined gray pic for seconds and bounces back to the Apple icon. any ideas why the iPad will not respond?

Assuming that you installed iTunes on your computer, you have to connect your iPad to your computer with the cable - plug the pin connector end into the iPad and the USB connector to a USB port on your computer. iTunes should start up on its own. If it doesn't start up, launch it yourself.

Reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears
To stop the message:
Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Backup Now
iCloud Backup will run automatically on a daily basis if:
- it is plugged into a power source
- it is connected to Wi-Fi
- the screen is locked

My IPad will not respond to my pass code after I updated. iTunes says 'disable find my ipad' before I can restore from backup.

I only have one back up & that is the one I did when I updated. (Can't remember if it was before or after)

iTunes wants you to disable find my iPad because Apple wants to make sure you are not trying to restore someone else's iPad.
To turn off find my iPad, you need to enter your Apple ID password.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.
