Mail: plugins can load without being in ~/Library/Mail?

Mail was crashing this morning and complained about plugins (e.g., LetterBox). So I moved the bundles directory out of ~/Library/Mail and relaunched Mail. No crash, but my plugins loaded (MailTags, LetterBox, Herald). Even across restarts, the plugins still load. The Bundles and Bundles(disabled) directories are still sitting at the root level of my home directory. I didn't think this was possible. Can anyone explain?

as nobody had a good idea I tried to delete it again. This worked but unfortunately my MacBook is asking me now every hours where it can find the Mail.app.
In the meanwhile I thought peerhaps it has something to to with iCal. I started to use it again now as I had my new iPhone. In preferences I cannot find any hint for a connection between Mail.app and iCal, but that is the only thing except the iPhone itself that changed.

if you have any idea how I can solve this problem,.....
In order to stop my Mac aksing me for Mail.app or (after I installed it again) how to find out why my Mac wants to open Mail continously.

That's bad. Really bad. And I can understand how you might get complaints about that.
For HTML5, the way you insert audio is this way:

You also have to make sure that your .htaccess file does know about ogg files and I assume you have done that.
In the case of my example above, take out the autoplay="autoplay" that will cause the audio to not play when you load the web page.
Now, you didn't say if you're using Flash or some older means of putting your podcasts on your website, so I've just given you the HTML5 information, which is what I am currently using for audio on the web.

It's not possible. The e-mail protocol is designed for text; anything else has to go as an attachment.
Different mail clients (such as Mail.app, the mail client bundled with Mac OS X) may have different ways of handling such attachments, but they are still attachments. Each mail client has its own rules and methods, so one may display a picture as if it were in the body of the message, but another client may do something completely different.
A way of faking it is to format your message in HTML (which is a kind of text). The image is hosted on a remote server, not added to the message; instead, you include a link to it in the body of the message, as you would when building a web page. For future reference, Safari Plugins are kept in Macintosh HD> Library> Internet Plugins.
To unhide the Library folder, open up Terminal (just type"Terminal" into spotlight) and type:
chflags nohidden ~/Library

1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem.
2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.

That information goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
7. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste (command-V). The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
8. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "syntax error," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
9. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
10. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report the results. No harm will be done.
11. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
12. When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." It means that the forum software has misidentified something in the post as a violation of the rules. If that happens, please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.

Why does my MacBook Pro shut down when I load YouTube, Minecraft and the like without being plugged in?

This doesn't happen every time I load YouTube, but is consistent with Minecraft (I expect it is a Java or Flash problem). If I open Minecraft and start playing without being plugged in, my computer will undoubtedly shut down at some point within 30 minutes from that time. It could just be a couple minutes or up to about 30, but it will happen no matter what. You may be thinking: "he just ran his battery down", but most of these occurances have happened while the computer has more than 80 percent battery left. Also possibly worth noting, the computer shuts down, it doesn't hibernate and it doesn't have a kernel panic, it is just as if I held the power button down. Any thoughts?

Most likely a Flash issue. Try uninstalling then reinstalling your current copy of the Flash plugin.

Itunes won't load without my E USB flash drive being plugged in....

I have a problem with my Itunes, and it’s driving me nuts.
When I open Itunes, it will not open/work, UNLESS I have my USB flash drive in my pc. This USB flash drive is my E drive.
I also have another external USB drive, which is where all my music is kept, and this is my F Drive.
The USB E drive must have been in when I first loaded my Itunes on to my PC, and now it will not work without it.
If I try to open Itunes without the E drive being in, it says cannot find default folder.
This is driving me insane.
In itunes, in Edit, Preferences, advanced tab, where it says “my itunes music folder location”, I have changed it so it is definitely on my F drive, but the thing still will not work without my E drive in my PC.
I have uninstalled Itunes, but it will not uninstall without my E drive in it either. When I have finally uninstalled and tried to reinstall without the E drive it, it won’t install without my E drive in either.
When I try to download a new itunes version from your website, it still won’t install without my E drive.
I have hunted far and wide trying to find where this setting lives and have asked many people, but no one has been able to help me so far.
SO I NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE!
Where is it where I can change this default from E drive to either my C or F drive, so that my Itunes can work without my E drive being in a USB slot?

No unfortunately that is not possible. If you bought the app on disk you would have to buy it again to get it from the app store.

It should be: Click on Home Folder (the House) and to the right Library is shown, click on the arrow on the Library folder to reveal its contents and then click on Cookies to reveal its contents and then move the Cookies.plist to the Trash as Carolyn suggests.

Your post is very confusing. I really don't want to give you incorrect advice, but at the very least, if you answer my questions/responses, maybe someone can offer more help.
You can download apps from the apps store directly from your iPad. I am assuming that you are connected to the Internet. Are you?
Your library - meaning your iTunes library?
You purchased free apps? If they were free you did not buy them in the first place. If you did purchase apps you can download them again without having to pay for them.
Your can sync content automatically when you are connected to iTunes if you set it up to do so.
You state that you bought an iPad so that you won't have to deal with that hunk of junk anymore. Are you referring to your PC? You still need a computer to sync your content, back up your iPad and download any software updates that may be released.
A $50.00 item to store your library? You need a computer to store your "library". You sync your content to iTunes where your "library" resides. Even in the Windows world I think $50.00 is a pipe dream so you may need to invest a few dollars for a reliable computer that you can sync to.
You can't connect to library? As I said earlier, I assume that you have an Internet connection or you can't download apps at all - even to your "hunk of junk". You have to connect your iPad to your computer in order to sync and you must connect to your computer in order to set the iPad up before you can use it at all.
Please explain your problems more clearly so that you can get the help you are seeking.
