Mail Receiver: Attachment gets not generated

Hi,
AFAIK in SXMB_MONI in the MappingStep the attachment is shown, when it was created.
My mapping does not show the attachment.
Although my mapping is identical to former XIs where I implementes "Mail with attachment"
We are now on NW04S_16_REL. Does anybody had the same problems?
My field are filled as follows:

No,
but consider:
Befor the message enters the CC the attachment should already be seen in SXMB_MONI

Problem in Mail Receiver attachment name

Hi all.
we are doing a interface from file to Mail (Excel file as a attachment).
we have written the adapter module to convert the XML from PI to Excel.. which is working fine.
For the attachment name i was hardcoding the attachment name using
localejbs/AF_Modules/MessageTransformBean
and Transform.ContentDescription as Testing.xls.
The scenario works fine.
But i want the attachment name to be dynamically set like xyzddmmyyyy.xls.
I am not using any Mail package.
I want to set the attachment name dynamically. so i follwed the blog

i am getting the filename from the xmlpayload and setting it using
                        xp.setName(filename);
                  xp.setContentType("application/vnd.ms-excel");
            xp.setContent(by);
but the problem is that now i am not getting the excel file instead a untitled.bin file which have the Contents.
in module configuration i have

Can you please throw some light on this problem..

Mail PDF attachment is not visible

I have just owned a new iPad 4th generation and using it with full energy.
I have a query and if anyone can guide me.
I have configured Gmail in the Mail of my iPad. Now when I am getting an e-bill from Airtel India for payment, the attached PDF bill copy is not there in the mail.
Is it that I have to change any settings, please advice.

You should see a paper clip icon next to the senders name in the preview window if there is an attachment in the email. If you do see the icon but can't see the PDF, quit mail, reboot and look again.
From your home screen. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the mail app icon. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

HELP! Mail receives but will not send

Mail will receive but it will not send.
When I try to send I get the following pull down window.
"The sender address (sender name)@cox.net was rejected by the server smtp.west.cox.net"

I have had this problem intermittently with my ISP (SBC).
Evidently at some point they upgraded security at their server so that the server rejects email addresses that it thinks are inauthentic to prevent Spammers from using these addresses -- all of my .mac email addresses were being rejected because SBC servers thought a SPAMMER was "impersonating" my computer to get through their server. I am sorry I can't explain this better.
It took quite a few phone calls to clear it up and I also had to move up the technical support food chain. Request a MAC technician and then keep requesting that person's supervisor.
All of my .mac email addresses had to be validated on their servers.

TS3899 My mail received category is not showing up in the mail categories nor is unopened mail appearing. Only sent mail, junk mail, etc.

The unread or received mail categories are not appearing in the mail even tho I have indicated messages on the e-mail icon on the main page. This occurred right after the new software update was installed.

In the mail app tap edit next to mailboxes. Tap inbox. Tap done.

Mails with attachment are note really sent

When I send a message with an attachment from MAIL, even to myself, it goes out normally but people never receive it. Messages without attachments are sent succesfully.
Can anyone tell me what is going on???

Generally, yes, JavaMail works with Exchange, but it does depend on the configuration
of your Exchange server.
There's lots of tools to schedule Java tasks. Pick one you like. Then write a task
that sends email.

Mail receives but will NOT send out

I've never had a problem but now the mail app for apple no longer sends. I get it fine, forwarded and synched to mobile me and gmail accounts fine. When I try to send out of the account I get the message "cannot send message using the server smtp.east.*$&.net When I click on "connection Doctor" Connection status-"mail was able to connect to the internet. It could be that your ISP wants you to use a specific outgoing mail server. Check with your ISP. Sometimes they will only allow you to use their outgoing mail server when you're on their network and not your own. For example, if you use Optimum Online they may only let you use mail.optonline.com for outgoing so you couldn't use mail.yourdomain.com.
They do this to cut down on people sending spam from their networks.

Mail received but will not appear

I'm running OS v10.5.8 and Mial v3.6. When opening mail I see incoming message totals next to the inbox but no messages show up in the preview pane. If it is an Apple mesage [via RSS] it shows up. i've tried Rebuilding, Reindexing, importing my POP mailbox, and have plenty of disk space. Any suggestions?

Didn't try that, with Apple Supports' help pulled the Mail folder out of my Library folder & apple.mail.com.plist out of Preferences folder and placed them on my desktop. In short, rebooted my Mail program. What ever was fired with my Inbox is now fixed & everything is working [after importing the old sent & deleted messages from the old Mail folder].

Someone is probably sending spam with your address forged on the To: line. Could be one of your old contacts with a Windows machine has a virus that's doing it. It's also possible your e-mail account has been hacked, though I'd think such a hacker would be a bit more purposeful.

As Don already pointed out, exactly what the recipient sees will depend on how they've set up their machine and what unnecessary 3rd party apps they might've installed to display attachments the way they want.
In theory, that is true. In practice, Attachment Tamer will cause more of your messages to show up as plain-jane icons on the other end. The problem is, after all, people running Outlook 2003 and 2007. These people likely aren't doing many system modifications.
If I were you, I'd use the free solutions provided above, save my money and let my recipients decide how they will handle their mail.

Mail to File: Attachment is not getting picked

Dears,
I have configured a Mail to File Scenario: Where PI will read email and pick the first attachment (.PDF File) and place it on File Server, however some times it is not picking the attachment and not placing it on File server.
Case1: In this case, it is working perfectly... the PDF file 145-2015.pdf is placing on file server
Case2: In this case, the attachment is not placing on File server. DECORP F221.pdf file not placing on File server
Your help need to solve this issue...

Hello,
I have identified that 'Content-Description' is not populating in the un-successful case because on File Receiver Adapter, i have used 'Content-Description' for the File Name as shown on below screen shot...
However i need to identify why the 'Content-Description' is missing in some cases...
This is the reason the attachment is unable to place it on File System...
Could any one of help me to identify the root cause?

Receiving msgs that mail I HAVE NOT GENERATED cannot be delivered. About 15 each day. Is this a virus?

Hi, I have received about 15 email messages a day from " Mail Administrator - Mail System Error Returned Mail" that emails I have not generated, cannot be delivered as the destination computer cannot be found! These emails are in a foreign language, appears to be russian, and I have no clue who/what generates them. It was suggested to me that it could be a virus. I have done three scans and so far nothing malicious has been found. Does anyone know how I can fix/stop these?

If this is someone else's windows machine, infected, and with your contact information in their contacts, then there is little if anything you can do. Windows machines can often become infected by mail bots that randomly send mail from the infected computer to people in the contact's database, AND using email addresses found in those contacts to spoof the "from" field in the outgoing mail. When those messages fail, the receiving server bounces them back to you as your email was in the "from" address field.
The only solution would be to disinfect the infected computer, but since you have no idea who (amongst all those with your contact information) is the actual infected computer, you cannot really do anything.
