"Mail"shows junk addresses, how can I delete these?

When entering an email address on MAIL, below appear choices of email addresses for this person. Now lots of junk addresses also show there. I have tried eliminating them, but they do not go away.
1) How do they get there without being in my address book?
2) How can I get rid of present junk email addresses?
3) How can I avoid this happening again.?

Thank you, Austin, you solved this problem I did as you suggested and found zillions of junk email there! Highlighted them deleted them went back to e mail and voila, they were gone !!!! You can only delete them one at a time on the iPad. If you have an IMAP email account, go to your email in on the server using a web browser and select as many as you can at a time and delete them that way. That action will be reflected on the iPad. In IMAP - whatever you do on one device syncs across all devices. If you have POP email - start deleting one at a time.

To delete a mail account in Mail, open Mail, and go to Mail menu > Preferences > Accounts. Then, select the account you want to remove and press the - button.
Then, press the + button to add the AOL mail account

Numbers doesn't have pages. It has a canvas that holds objects such as tables and charts.
Drag the objects from the bottom of the canvas onto the white space above. That will reduce the number of "pages" (sheets of paper) that will print.

The iphone//ipad/ipod is not a backup/storage device. The sync is one way - computer to iphone. The exception is itunes purchases.
There is no free, or Apple supported, way to extract any other music.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Use your backup copy of your computer to put everything back.
Iphone sync with one computer at a time. Syncing to another will erase the current content from the iphone and replace with the content of the new computer.

Gotcha.
Back-ups are what they are: a safety copy. If you feel you don't need them, you can trash them. They could be of a previous System if you upgraded, or something else. You wont get the full picture from looking at system profiler.
You may want to look into getting an external drive and offloading some stuff to it.

HT201210 Trying to restore a new iphone 4 to files from an iphone 3, however, the restore says it can't complete because there isn't enough space. I would like to delete photos and music files. How can I delete these photos?

1, you can't at the moment, though with iOS 5 in the Autumn, from http://www.apple.com/ios/ios5/features.html#photos :

2, by removing it from you synced from and re-syncing. Only photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad (either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view)
3, the location of the photos that you synced to the iPad should be listed on the iPad's Photos tab when connected to your computer's iTunes.
4, you can copy the photos from your iPad to your computer : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 . You should also be able to delete them from the iPad as part of the transfer process to your computer, and it's then your choice whether to add them to your sync photo list so as to copy them back to the iPad. Copying them to your computer would allow you to organise them into folders and therefore be able to sync them back into separate albums.
5, I don't use Dropbox either. There are some third-party browser apps in the iTunes App Store that allow you to download pages so that you can view them when offline e.g. Atomic Web (the whole page is saved within Atomic Web, it doesn't place a photo into the Photos app)
6, deleting content should help. If you remove an app from your iPad then you also remove the content that it's got on the iPad - so if you then decide to reinstall it back onto the iPad then you will need to manually add back any content that you want in it. None of the Apple built-in apps (including Photos) can be removed from the iPad

In Exchange 2007 you need to use Export-Mailbox ex:
export-mailbox -id <username> -deletecontent -confirm:$false

How can i delete these photos from my iphone?

I had to do a dfu reset on my phone (without restoring a backup) to fix a data problem i was having, so i have spent the past week manually backing up specific app data that i can't live without (such as the songs i have written/recorded with garageband) and my notes and contacts and photos...etc to my computer. I did that with a program called iexplorer. Then after the restore i had to get all that stuff back on my phone and it's all been sorted out so far except this problem i encountered with my photos: i wanted my photos back in the camera roll just like they were before the reset and the only program i could find to do this was "iFunBox". I started with the first folder of about 70 pics, the import appeared successful from my computer, then i looked on my phone and it did not show them in the camera roll or even a folder beside camera roll (under the albums tab), but when i switched the tab to photos it showed them all there. But the strange part is i am unable to delete them and it shows the date as 1947, which obviously isn't right. In itunes it also does not show the pictures, even in iFunBox it doesn't show them. I tried syncing my photos with an empty album and it did nothing. How can i get rid of these photos without having to do another factory reset? And once i get them off, how do i get all my photos back onto the camera roll? Emailing them isn't an option because i have over 1500 pictures and emailing them 21 at a time is simply not going to happen. Please help!!

If the photos were synced to your phone from your computer using iTunes, you have to sync them off to remove them (by deselecting them on the photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and syncing).

It sounds like you are wanting to delete these audio books from the iPhone. I recommend going here in your settings:
Tap Settings > General > Usage to view the amount of space each app and its content takes on your device.

Then tap Music, and swipe left on AudioBooks and choose Delete when it appears to delete them all in one swipe.
