Mail subject/date/etc invisible!!!

The subject/date/sender/etc are all invisible! They are there b/c I can click and read the body of the email below, but the text is gone! I did install Widemail and it was working fine for a few days, but then the program began to crash a lot eventually made the e-mail details disappear. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I already tried removing the Mail folder in the library as well as the com.apple.mail.plist in the preferences folder.

Oh dear. If it is still in your trash then you should drag it back to the Users/<user>/Library. If it is not in your Trash (ie, you have emptied the trash can) and you don't have a backup, then unfortunately you have lost all your Mail.

Mail: do not have the same account loaded onto the two devices.
Photos: go into Settings->Photos & Camera->and turn off photo stream.
everything else, sign out of the Apple ID on the device you dont want to be visible.

Quit Mail. Force quit if necessary.
Back up all data. That means you know you can restore the Mail database, no matter what happens.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar. Paste into the box that opens (command-V), then press return.
A folder window will open. Inside it there should be files with names as follows:
Envelope Index
ExternalUpdates.storedata
Move those files to the Desktop, leaving the window open. Other files in the folder may have longer names that begin as above. Move those files, if any, to the Trash.
Log out and log back in. Relaunch Mail. It should prompt you to re-import your messages. You may get a warning that the index is damaged and that Mail has to quit. Click OK. Warning: The process may take hours if you have gigantic mailboxes. For reasonable-sized mailboxes, it should only take a few minutes.
Test. If Mail now works as expected, you can delete the files you moved to the Desktop. Otherwise, post your results.

Inbox preview problem - cannot see subject, from, date etc but can read emails..

Hello All
I am using Thunderbird on a Mac, this problem began yesterday.
The preview section of my inbox is not showing that is things like subject, from, date etc all I am seeing is blank rows but I can still click on these rows to see my messages.
I have attached a screenshot to show the problem, I am quite baffled by this.
I am running 4 inboxes but only this one has the problem, it is through imap, (screenshot attached of the inbox properties)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How do I allow users to backup iPhone EXCLUDING Exchange data (no CONTACTS, Mail, Calendar, Tasks, etc) for BOTH iCloud and iTunes?

We are EXTREMELY sensitive to corporate data and we wish to force compliance to our standards. We understand people need to back up THEIR data, but we are not willing to allow them to backup OUR data. We define OUR data to be any data that is entered into our Corporate Mail environment (Exchange 2007). Is there a way to allow for backups to either iCloud or iTunes that does not back up Exchange Contacts, Mail, Calendar, Tasks, etc. ?
We are using Mobile Iron which provides a way to disable BackUp via iPhone profiles being distributed, but we wish to allow people the ability to backup their content, again, just not ours. And we've seen some very similar threads.
We have noticed that the backups do not backup Mail and Calendar items, but it does backup Contacts. That's the sticking point.
Any help would be most appreciated. This is a major concern.

OK, sounded like a good suggestion, perhaps it only appeared the data was being backed up, but in reality the connection was being made and the contacts were some how syncing back w/ the cached credentials restablishing sync with the server. That would not have explained why messages and calendar items didn't resync; but I was willing to take it for a test spin. Wiped device, changed password in AD (so that it couldn't sync), began restore, and after restore with AD password changed prior to restore, the two test Exchange contacts were regrettably on my phone. Further test the reasonable theory of maybe credentials are being restored and the only contact data is being actually synced to get the data back on the phone, I added a third contact.
Now just to be belt and suspenders (to make sure something isn't happening at the restore where it get's the contact information at that exact window of time), I am wiping my again to see if the third contact (that's in my exchange contacts on the server) makes it to my device possibly during the sync, but I'm pretty sure what is happening is that he contact is making it "or being" some how categorized as "phone" data as opposed to Exchange data and being backed up there erroneously. For instance if you were to create a contact on an iPhone prior to establishing a sync relationship with the exchange server, it would take that contact and create that contact on your exchange server for you so that your "phone" data and your "exchange" data (as it relates to contacts at least) are in sync.
If you grant this assumption, then, when syncing Exchange data, the "phone" data is being created. When the back up takes place, I believe there is no distinction or bifurcation of these two data types. Phone data is backed up with no rhyme or reasoning related to its history or origin of creation (i.e. where it came from), it's not a contact from Exchange, it's just a contact. I believe Apple needs to tattoo Exchange contacts in some fashion or provide a "transparency" kind of paradigm or model used for calendars, where you can see two sources intermingled in a view, but they are truly not (you just see all).
Apple has indicated they understand the severity of this and are looking into it, but if anyone else has any insight or profiles not discussed on

Hi,
You can change the e-mail subject to a subject of your choice by following way.
If you want to send a purchase order as (external) mail, for example, to a
vendor, you have to maintain the mail title in the condition record for the
output type (for example in Transaction MN05) on the 'Communication method' tab
page. Enter the mail title in the 'Text for cover page' field. You cannot
maintain an additional mail text.

We have implemented ServiceDesk in Solution Manager 7.1 SPS 08 & are using automatic notifications to be generated as alert emails to the customer key users / service desk support team / message processors etc.
We are using Actions under transaction SPPFCADM, which is using smart-form AI_CRM_IM_SHORT_TEXT_LINK_FORM for the email content.
We need to modify the notification mail subject as follows -
Current Mail Subject – 80000xxxxxx : <Incident Description>
Required Mail Subject – 80000xxxxxx : <Incident Description> : <Incident Status>
Can you please suggest, how this can be achieved? What modifications are needed in smart form for the same?

Mail subject storage table

Hi,
    In one program sending mail.When I run background job ,job will created.
    In another report I am displaying all background jobs in perticular date. Now I want that mail subject has to display correspong to perticular job.
   Please tell me any mail title storage table or FM.I checked SOOD,SOFD,SOFIND. No use.

Hi Suma,
I dont think what you are doing is correct. There is no direct link between SOOD and TBTCP. So you cannot fetch the records with the way you are doing now. One possible way could be to find the program name which triggers the email and link it with the job name using the program name. Am still trying to figure how to link the email triggered with that of the program name. Lets wait and see if anyone else can suggest a better and alternative approach for this.

We are doing File2Mail scenario. We r sending 5 files in 5 mails with 5 diff subjects by MAIL adapter.
Can anyone guide me how to send 5 files as attachment in one single mail with different mail subjects :

you can use dynamic addressing wherein you can provide the mail related information in your mapping.
for example the to, from, subject and content.
so you can map these fields form the input structure or you can have a constant to map it.

the only differerence in your case is that you need file as attachment so mark the keep attachment field.

I have two yahoo accounts and I know as they 'improved' their servers I had periodic outages. It'd work fine on my webmail on my computer, webmail on the iPad, but not via the mail app. And it was stuff on their end. It may be a case of wait and see and you may need to eventually remove/readd the account on your iPhone.
When the issue is on their end, unfortunately there's not much for users to do beyond wait it out or find work arounds.

i activated access method M in tr. SPAD and via this method i'm sending various reports in PDF to external e-mails. But when recepitiens recive e-mail i have subject of e-mail composed of SYSTEM ID and SPOOL NUMBER (e.g. R3P-12345) and i also have defaulted mail body text :
The Mail Attachment Contains the Print File Created by User XXXXX , with Number xxxx from SAP System R3P .
To Print the Data, Open the Mail Attachment with a Suitable Program and Print the Document.
How can i change mail subject and body text?

Leopard 10.5.6 Mail subject column mysteriously moved

Hi, I have been running Mail somewhat successfully since I switched to my new Macbook last August. I am running 10.5.6.
Yet, two days ago, I opened Mail to find the columns moved around in each mailbox. I tried to resort them in View/column menu, and I was able to uncheck every column header and redo the columns in the order that I checked off each selected header, except for the SUBJECT header, which is not in the menu at all. So I can't move it where I want to now, like so: FROM | SUBJECT | etc. The 'subject' column insists on being first, like so: SUBJECT | FROM etc. What is going on here, anybody know? It's not a big deal really, except I would rather have it my way!
(Only thing that happened recently was that when I scanned different folders on my hard drive with ClamXav, it told me I had two infected files in my /Library/Caches/Chache folder. I went in there and moved the two files to the trash. They are still in there. They referred to . . .Phishing . . .and were dated 2006, so they seem to have something to do with mail.)

thank you, I am embarrassed as I was sure I tried that! I see that dragging the columns does work. Sorry to bother. . . with Macs the solution to a problem is usually the simplest, most obvious thing!

Safari is not working on the Mac. Internet is fine, mail, App Store etc all working and connecting to Internet fine. Done the latest software update, still not working. When selecting a web address from bookmarks or typing in search bar, partial blue bar.

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
If you wish, you may be able to salvage the malfunctioning extension by uninstalling and reinstalling it. That will revert its settings to the defaults.
If extensions aren't causing the problem, see below.
