MAIL TO PHONE?

How do you get your mail sent to your phone? IS THERE A WAY TO DO THAT?
what I'm saying is there a way to possibly have any incoming mail sent directly to your phone??

By 'phone' do you mean a WAP-enabled mobile handset tied to a wireless account? Which model, and which provider?
Many mobile handsets and all smartphones include electronic mail clients which can generally be configured for POP3 and SMTP mail at a minimum, and some support IMAP and SMPT configurations.
If you mean a conventional POTS telephone, the answer is no - not exactly. It is possible to send telephone calls via AIM Phoneline [or, AIM Digits, as they love to call it] to a voicemail box using a pseudo telephone number assigned in your area code, then receive electronic mail notification through AIM or AOL, but not visa versa. In other words, you can receive calls in this manner using the assigned telephone number, but not make them.

Im having the same problem, I updated my Iphone 4S to 6.1.3, shortly after that my phone had no audio. It was working fine one minute and then stopped. Was listening to music when sound gave out on me. It wont ring, phone just vibrates even after turning off vibration option. I've tried all the options listed and nothing. My phone has never been jailbroken either. If I connect the earphones is works perfectly. On one of my last calls received, phone's ringtone was heard for about 2 seconds before muting and just vibrating. Ringtone sounded perfect, speakers did not sound damaged.
What else could be done? I've read several post regarding this and it seems like Apple has no solution to this yet. Very dissappointed.

Checking hotmail e-mail on phone to sync with computer

i'm sure this question has been asked 100 times, but i'm new to this website and dont know what to type in to make my answer appear!
I have an iPhone 4 and when I check my e-mail on my computer, all the ones that I have previously dealt with (deleted, answered, read, etc.) are all brand new. So when I open my hotmail account it says I have 400+ emails to check.
I do notice that when I turn my phone on (to reset or after charging, etc) it says "cannot access (my e-mail) account settings"
I'm from Canada, and the only answer I found was talking about AT&T. And I used Bell if any of that helps.

Mail Stops receiving mail after phone in standby for a while.

We are currently running Exchange 2003 SP2. We have direct push enabled on our server.
I have setup an iphone to use one of our exchange account and mail is received straight away on the phone. However once the phone has been on standby for a while (Cant give exact time) mail stops coming through on the phone. As soon as you bring the phone out of standby and do something on the phone the missing mails come through. We know there is nothing wrong with our server as we have a WM6 device that constantly receives the same mail.
Anyone else had same issues?
Settings on phone are :
iPhone 3G
2.0 (5A347)
Wifi is disabled
Push is enabled
3g is enabled

We upgraded to Exchange 2007 and upgraded phones to Latest OS and problem seems to have gone.

Deleting mail on pop server does not delete mail on phone

I have two Andoid phones:
1. My Personal Samsung Galaxy Note/AT&T
2. My Employers Motorola Droid RAZR/Verizon
They are both running Android 4.0.4. I have set up pop mail on both. My personal ISP is X/O and a pop3 account. I typically have it deliver mail to Outlook at my home and turn off Outlook to read mail when away. The first phone correctly reconciles the delete of the mails delivered to Outlook and no longer on the server. The Verizon Droid does not delete the mail from the phone when it is gone from the server. I deleted and readded the pop account and experience the same behavior. How do I get the phone to delete the mail that has been removed from the server?
Since it is a company phone but a personal e-mail account I am not sure where to get support.

I found that there was a slight time lapse from when I managed a message on my iPhone (with .Mac) to when it showed the same status on my Mail.app (.Mac). For example, I deleted a message directly from my Inbox (iPhone) and it moved to trash. But it took about 2 minutes for that same message to show up in my trash on my machine. It just sat as a new, unread message on my laptop and then suddenly during the next send/receive interval it was put into the trash (still marked as unread, though).
Have you allowed any sort of time lapse? Or are you viewing the webmail view of your .Mac account simultaneously as your actions on the iPhone?

Pre is deleting e-mails on phone when I open up e-mails on my PC

Well, I finally got my e-mail up and running. For the most part, fairly seamlessly - just needed to find an old password or two. So, I am able to send and receive without any issues.
My problem occurs when I have e-mail that arrive in my Inbox on my Pre. They only arrive when my Outlook on my PC is closed, which is fine, but when I open up Outlook all of the e-mails that were on my phone dissapear from my phone. They are loaded on my PC, but they are removed from my phone. I found the setting that lets you choose how many days to keep an e-mail on the Pre, but that doesn't seem to be doing anything.
Does anyone know how to keep e-mails on the Pre as described above?
FYI - I am LOVING my Pre...this is the only issue to date - it is an incredible device!!

Deleting hotmail mail on phone and mac

Hi,
I wonder if anyone could help ...
I want deleted mail on my iphone not to appear in mail on my macbook. (and vice versa) E.g. I delete an email on my iphone and then sync the phone with my mail (via itunes) ... open my mail account and it not show up ...
At the moment i seem to have to delete e-mail on both even after i have synced the mail.

It is now possible to access a Hotmail account as an Exchange account with the iPhone's Mail app thanks to Microsoft making use of their copying which is all they do - following Google's lead in this regard, but I don't believe it is possible to do the same with an email client on your computer.
You can access a Gmail account as a POP, IMAP or Exchange account with the iPhone's Mail app and as a POP or IMAP account with an email client on your computer.
You can access a Hotmail account as a POP or Exchange account with the iPhone's Mail app and as a POP account only with an email client on your computer.
If Microsoft decides to copy Google with one more step by supporting accessing a Hotmail account as an IMAP account as well with an email client on your computer and with the iPhone's Mail app, what you are wanting would be possible.

I have been trying to open Mail App on my I Phone but it keeps crashing... any ideas?

Is the Gmail an IMAP account? If so, there could be an oversize email that is clogging up the system. If that is the case, you might want to go to Gmail on your computer and check the mail and delete the large email if that is an option.
If it is a POP account, the same thing could be going on, but you can still check on the web for the mail and delete it and see if that works.
A reset of the phone could be done, holding down the power and home button until you see the Apple logo and release, ignoring the slide to power off screen. See if that corrects things.

Outlook deleting mail from phone

How do I get my outlook to stop deleting my mail on the iphone4 when I open it. This is so annoying I need to use both and like to keep certain messages on my phone but cant when my outlook is opened. I have my setting in outlook to save on the server.

My calls are not going to voice mail, the phone just rings any suggestions?

Getting mail on phone and iPad but not late 2012 Mini. Help!

I have 2 mail accounts set up - iCloud and Yahoo,
Late 2102 Mini running Mavericks 10.9.5.
The iCloud mail comes to the phone, iPad and computer, but the Yahoo mail only reaches the phone and iPad.
This just started today, both accounts have been running flawlessly for almost 2 years now.
Nothing I have tried so far has worked. I am hoping that someone can provide a solution.

I meant iMac - not PC. I have a mac desktop, laptop, ipad and iphone. ical that i share with my husband is spread over all devices except desktop.

E-mail on Phone and Desktop not synced?

I have a 4S IPhone. I noticed that whenever I check an e-mail on my phone, that e-mail isn't being marked as read/deleted, etc. when I check my e-mail on my desktop. So, everytime I go into my e-mail on my desktop, I think I have tons of e-mail I need to address when in reality I have already replied/deleted/checked via my phone. Why is this? What do I do to correct his so that my desktop account and Iphone account are connected?

HT5361 Mail on phone but not mac

For one of my Yahoo mail accounts I'm getting mail on my phone but can't get it on my mac. My other mail accounts work fine. It was working until a few days ago.

I believe that you must pay a fee in order to have have it sent to the macbook. For my Yahoo account it is a yearly fee of $20.

We have a W2k12 server with Exchange 2013 Version 15.0 ‎(Build 712.24)‎installed. Because of problems with upgrading Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013 in the past, we have followed a different upgrade path. We have exported and deleted
the mailboxes from the users, and delete teh old exchange server. After that we have installed Exchange 2013, and made new mailboxes for the users. Import and all was running well.
We have only one problem with all of our Exchange users Active Sync on different types of Phone. I hope the community can help us.
On Apple devices the mails are downloaded, but the content is nog available. Only the headers are visible. On other devices the mail will be downloaded correctly, but the users cannot send e-mail.
We have checked
this 7 pages but that did not help us.
OWA is working correctly, Inheritance persmissions in AD are correct.

Update: RCA gives this error:
Host name webmail.domain.com doesn't match any name found on the server certificate CN=CS-EXCH.
If this is the problem, how can we resolve this issue without buying a certificate from a commercial certificate authoritie?

I have made a new self signed certificate.

But the problem is the same. I have test it with IOS 7.04.
I have exported the certificate via owa and add the certificate in the Iphone.
Any ideas?
update: on Android the mail will download complete, but reply to mail hangs in outbox...
