Mail: Why do some emails, sent with attachments, not appear in the Sent category

Occasionally I will send an email to four different addressees. The email contains an attachment in pages format, word format and pdf formal. Though it is sent and though it is received by at least one of those to whom it is addressed, it does not appear as sent, in the Sent Mailbox. Why is this and what can be done to get all sent emails to appear as Sent?

Most mail servers can be accessed in a web browser as well as in Mail. For iCloud, you go here:
iCloud Mail
Check for sent messages.

I dont understand what happen?Perhaps you should read up on WHAT a mail (SMTP) server is, HOW it works, and WHAT a PPOP3/IMAP mailbox is, and HOW that works?

Glad it's working for you but it's still not for me. I was sending emails fine today and they went to sent box then all of a sudden they aren't there. Does anyone know what is the problem and a simple solution?

The reason it will not be in the sent folder is, it failed to send.
If it failed to send, then you will see the Outbox icon. 'Pending' would be a more descriptive name.
When it eventually sends, the Outbox will not show in the Mail app interface.
Until it is sent it will stay stuck in the Outbox.
If it refuses to send, you can manually delete it in Finder, at the location ~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/Outbox.mbox
Close Mail first, before you search for that email using the Finder.

What update rollup are you running on the DPM 2012 R2 server ? DPM 2012 R2 UR5 introduced a new refresh feature that will re-enumerate data sources on an individual protected server.
Check for VSS errors inside the guests that are having problems being backed up.

Email sent with attachments not showing in sent folder

I have recently found that emails I send with an attachment do not show up in my sent folder. They are arriving at recipient but I do not then have a record of the email sent. This is really very annoying and I can see a few other poplin online forums are having the same problem. However nobody seems to have come up with a solution. It appears I have to cc myself in to the mail and then move it to my sent folder when it arrives. I can't keep doing this. Other emails without attachments are showing in the sent box. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this please.

Didn't work for me... (rebuilding the mailbox)
I cleaned the Sent mailbox and rebuilt the culprit mailbox and the general "Sent" mailbox.... sent a message.. it 'hung' in the Outgoing Message box for @ 20 seconds and it sounded as if it were sent and when checking the Sent mailbox for that account, it did not show.... I tested this again with another message addressed to myself and it sent as expected and showed in the Sent mailbox for the account... Did another test to a different recipient and the message sent as expected and showed in the Sent mailbox... The only corrollary that exists at this stage, is the recipient of the "disappearing" messages is that I email this particular recipient very regularly and at times with long threads... However, these last messages were completely different subjects and previous replies to this persons email sent as expected.... so this is a random occurrence.

ICloud Mail Sent with iPad Not Appearing in Sent Mail

Hi Everyone,
For for the past few days, the email messages that I've sent with my iPad using my iCloud address do not appear in the iCloud Sent mail folder my iMac. But if I send an iCloud mail using my iMac, it does appear in the iCloud Sent mail folder on both devices. This problem does not occur using other IMAP accounts on my iPad. What's going on?
The other thing that may be relevant is that there appear to be two Sent mail folders that appear in the iCloud account on my iPad. One is Sent with the paper airplane icon and the other is Sent Messages with a folder icon. On my iMac, there is only the Sent mail folder with the paper airplane icon. Curiously, on the iMac have see some sent messages from both of those sent mail folders from the iPad.
I'm now concerned that some important iPad messages may not have been sent, and I now must backtrack and resend them.

I use bellsouth.net for email on my ipad, I have a sent box and it has some sent mail from a long time ago. My mail is being sent just not showing up in Sent Mail Folder. How do I get my sent mail to show up in the sent folder?

I don't quite understand your point. If iTunes leaves the book "ticked" it should transfer back to the iPad when you sync because the "tick" means that the item is selected to sync.
If you want to remove the book from your iTunes library, launch iTunes on your computer, click on "Books" under the library heading, click on the book that you want to delete and hit the delete key or right click on the book and select delete. I think both methods will work if you want to delete the book.
I don't know if that answers the question, but like I said, I'm unclear as to what you mean.

UTL_MAIL sent messages do not appear in the outbox OUTLOOK

Sorry for me bad english, I am not speak very well the english. I am from Ecuador.
I configured UTL_Mail because i need to send email and everything works good. But when I send an email with an email account associated with the domain that I configured. The outlook does not appear anything in the outbox.
Example
I sent a message [email protected] account, the message is sent and reaches all recipients. In the inbox of the recipients [email protected] appears as the sender, but when I enter my account Outllok in the outbox nothing appears. My account is [email protected]
What happens?
I am working with apex 11g.

Address Book: why do some Cards in a Group not get into the email?

I have a group with about 55 email addresses, each on a card in Address Book. When I use the list in Apple's Mail program, two cards do not get included.
This has happened many times, and I keep verifying the name is in the group.

Well, before I read your response . . . I started looking more seriously at my Address Book cards. Should have done this first! The problems ones had email addresses in the work phone field.
Unfortunately, when you look at the Card, both fields are labeled 'work.' If you make a mistake filling it out, you can't see the error unless you Edit the card.
But thanks for trying to help me! As a retired usability engineer, I hope someone will look at the labeling on the Cards!

Why do some emails I get don't wrap within the window?

I receive an email from a particular sender using an iPhone, that shows each paragraph as one extremely long line and refuses to wrap in my Thunderbird view window. I open the same email in other clients, including my mobiles, and it wraps nicely. As I don't have this problem with other emails, is there anything I need to tell the sender?

Could I ask someone with an iPhone to send an email message to me to see if I can replicate this effect?

Why do some PDFs open with attachment panel showing on the left?

I have 3 similar PDFs. None of them have any attachments but two of them when opened show the open attachments panel on the left even though it's empty. Using Acrobat X Mac. Any help appreciated! thanks!

For those documents where it's shown, what does it have for the following setting: File > Properties > Initial View > Layout and Magnification > Navigation tab
"Attachments Panel and Page" perhaps?

I agree with what you are saying. He made an assumption without getting all the data.
You can start with this applescript. She could select the mail that was sent and run this applescript and file them in another mailbox for her to later individually file. Maybe that will help organize it better.

Emails sent from Blackberry not appearing in my sent items on my computer?

Using my Gmail email address...
When I send an email from my blackberry 8900,
It isn't showing up in sent items in Mail for mac.
If someone could help me out that'd be great,
Its a bit annoying not having it all completely in sync.

I don't know if previously sent items will be migrated over to the server, but once the IMAP settings are in place, any new emails being sent should show up on the mail server.

Why are some of my music albums not displaying on the iPhone 4S?

I updated my iPhone 4S software to iOS 6. After it finished updating, I noticed that majority of my music albums aren't displaying, but, when I play any song the album artwork is there. Is there a way for me to fix this on my iPhone itself? Because I don't have a computer anymore. Everything is bought via my phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated! All I want is for all my music albums to display the artwork covers. Thank you in advance! =)
