Mailbox problems after the "new, improved" version messed up all my stuff

OK ... so I finally got sync to work ... tried a hint from the forum, with my own variation (started it while on the desktop, rather than after I put it back into "preferences") ... and sync actually WORKED!
HOWever ... the mailbox STILL seems to want to enter every incoming as TWO ITEMS ... and it COUNTS them the same way ... until I click on both ...
THE MAIN PROBLEM, tho, is that when I click on a new email (or an old one), the message that is brought up is NOT the one indicated ... age of the items viewed ranges from 10 to 18 months old ...
An example: my spouse sent me an email ... it shows up in the "old" Mail site, AND on the MailMe location ... it's readable in MailMe, BUT THE JUNK FILTER WILL NOT WORK ... so I must weed thru the crap, or ... go back to the Mail site, let the junk filter work, and then go back to MailMe to read only the "real" messages, without being bothered by all the extraneous junk ...
Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? Anyone? Bueller?

You've posted this in the iSync forum. However, iSync doesn't sync mail at all - it just syncs Contacts and Calendars to mobile phones and PDAs.

Problems with the new flash version.

Turned on my computer (win 7, ff5) and found that both skype and youtube are crippled.
After some digging, it becomes clear that there has been a new flash version and im far from the only one with problems. I try to use the uninstaller - which works suspiciously quickly- and reinstall. I get a message saying that its already installed. When i try through firefox direct, it says an existing version may be in use.
So either the uninstaller or the installer is broken.
When on youtube for example, it alternates between telling me i need to update the plugin and to download from adobe. I have now done this several times, following the instructions. No suscess.
Have tried to change the hardware accelleration off, but as i cant see anything thats flash.... its not going well.

Is your Win7 32-bit or 64-bit?
What files do you have in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash (32-bit) / C:\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash (64-bit) ?

I don't like the new firefox version it disabled all of my add ons and downloads I want the previous version back...I truly REGRET allowing the update because it dismantled eeverything I searched hard for

To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

Does anyone know when a new version of AA5.5 or any patch ..? I hope that soon, the forum is indeed a lot about not polished AA5.5.

Adobe have always had a policy of not giving advance notice of software releases.

A key paragraph is the last one in post one that says Adobe have now committed to a major release every 24 months plus a mid-cycle release. I suspect that's all the notice we'll get!

Is the newer Firefox version compatible with all Mac? My last download said it was not.

Well, I think the Intel Mac requirement needs to be more prominently displayed. The download bar merely says it's a download for Mac OS X with a sub-note All Systems and Languages. My 10.1.11 rejected it. Poor execution by Mozilla, I think.

My itunes says it's up to date, but it is not. If I download the new one will I loose all my stuff?

The issue is that the current iTunes (11.0.4) requires at least OS X version 10.6.8 to run.
You must update your OS X first, then update your iTunes.
Note that OS X version 10.6 (Snow Leopard) is now two years old. So I strongly suggest that you move to Lion (OS X 10.7) or Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8) if your machine will support it. Either of these upgrades will cost a bit.

Click the Firefox button, go to Add-ons, then Plugins and disable the following: 
* Fun Web Products Plugin 
* My Web Search 
Both of these are adware/spyware and cause performance issues in Firefox.
Next, click the Extensions menu link (above Plugins where you are) and remove the "Ask Toolbar".
If the problem persists, please do the following:

Is Anyone Having Problems with the newer version of Firefox?

I still have my older Mac OsXv10.4 Tiger software. I wasn't exactly happy with Safari browser as it would block many sites and were considered incompatible so I downloaded the free Firefox browser (the 2.0 version) of which I STILL have. I'm aware that there is a much newer version and would like to download that, but I've heard a lot of people saying they have been having severe problems with it, but then they have PCs and not Macs.
So my question is for you Mac users that use Firefox, have you had major problems with the newer version? I'm real hesitant to download if I'm going to have the same problem PC users are having...like constantly crashing. Also would my old Tiger software be compatible? I don't want to upgrade to Leopard.

Yes. I had problems with Firefox 3.5. The primary problem was very slow or never-ending loading of certain websites (particularly secure sites and sites with many features). I also have had similar, but not as bad, problems with Safari 4. I never had these problems with Safari 2 or Firefox 2. It just seems that with each update, the problems increased for me. I have read the Safari and Firefox forums and tried many fixes with little improvement. I have come to the conclusion that there is some kind of compatibility problem between the latest versions of Safari and Firefox and Shockwave Flash and/or Javascript and OS 10.4, particularly on PPC Macs. I expect there are many who will disagree and I cannot argue or prove the point. This is just my opinion. And I recognize that my problems could be caused by my setup and not by the browsers. By the way, I do not use any add-ons with any of my browsers. Anyway, I got tired of dealing with it and installed the latest version of Camino about 2 weeks ago. I also did a clean install of Firefox 3.0.13. Camino is working out great for me. It is simple and it works. No problems at all. So currently I am using Camino as my primary browser and Firefox 3.0.13 as my backup. I hope this helps.

The facebook application for E72 does not work with the new firmware version 031.023.
The option key does not work and you not exit the application.
I reinstalled the software and the result is de same.

Yes I'm having the same problems since the latest firmware update. Facebook "options" not working and cannot end app + OVI app does not allow you to proceed after you use the "search" option. Looks like the latest firmware has fixed some keypad problems but created some new ones. Come on Nokia address these issues as a matter of urgency. I will volunteer to test for you if you like because you obviously haven't tested the latest release properly as these are obvious issues!
Got fed up waiting for Nokia to got off their bums and sort this. Ovi store is selling RoadSync5 for £8 - usual price £45! Also ironically had issues getting it download as per original post but if you search for RoadSync in Ovi (on the phone) then let the phone lights go out then click the joystick again the screen reformats and allows you to search. You will need to do the same with the actual purchase to enter your password - put the password in, click - nothing will happen, leave until the lights go out - screen has reformatted and you can click, then click purchase.

Apple removed blood glucose until further notice. The reason behind this is that it gave a distorted picture in countries where the medical world used other measuring units. I suspect it will be available again in a future update.

Connecting your MacBook Pro and your MacBook Air will be the fastest way, but you have to spend money on cables and adapters (also, your MacBook Pro doesn't support Thunderbolt).
As you have a Time Capsule, one thing you can do is to start your MacBook Pro and make a Time Machine backup. Then, turn on your MacBook Air and set it up. Setup Assistant will ask you to restore a backup, so select the option to restore the backup from the Time Capsule and be patient. This can take a lot of time if you have to migrate a lot of files
