Mailboxes from Outlook are not importing to Thunderbird

I was able to import my address book and Inbox from Outlook, but only one of the sub-folders. It appears to be importing, but has been doing so for 6 hours with no result.

The only limit is how much storage space you have left on your phone.

Exchange 2010 Auto-Mapping not removing mailbox from Outlook

I am having an issue that others seem to have as well. When I give Full Access to another mailbox, auto-mapping brings it in to the users Outlook 2010 client. However, when I remove that users access to the shared mailbox it doesn't remove the
mailbox from Outlook.
I know that I can go the shared account in ADSIedit and edit the msExchDelegateListLink and remove the user that should no longer have access, but this is not a good solution. I feel this is a bug that Microsoft should address and release a patch for.
Does anyone know of a fix? Not a workaround, an actual fix?

Based on my experience, we can take the following actions to remove the additional mailbox :
1. Turn off the auto-mapping feature for your account:
Add-MailboxPermission usermailbox –user PersonBeingGrantedRights –AccessRights ‘FullAccess’ –AutoMapping:$false
2. Remove the full access permission by using EMC or EMS.
3. Clear the msExchDelegateListLink attribute for all mailboxes which are being displayed as an additional mailbox in Outlook. In your case, you need change 10 msExchDelegateListLink attributes.

Transfermations are not importing in prd

Hi All,
I am transporting transfermations from DEV to QA and PRD.
In QA it is working fine but in PRD 3 fields rules are not importing. these 3 fields are direct mapping rules.
DSO level ---> only one rule is not imported.(ZBRANCH)
Cube levlel---> 3 rules are not imported.(AB,BIs,ZBRANCH)
Because of this r/3 data source strucure is changed.
I found the imprted logs message is likethis.
rule18,19,20,21 are not imported .
Why it's changing r/3 data source.
How can i resolve this problem. Objects all are in active only.

Check whether all source system mapping is done between the sender and target system properly
check whether all the objects are in active version or not
If any objects in the target system is inactive then go to SE 38 run the program RSDG_AFTER_IMPORT_FOR_CORR to make those objects in to active version

Some mails are not collected by Thunderbird

Hi,
I am facing a very strange behavior with Thunderbird (v 24.3.0) . I am in POP3. I have configured all my mails readers (actually my PC and my Android Smartphone) to leave the messages on the server.
My Smartphone is configured to remove the mail from the server when I delete it on the phone.
When I retrieve the mails on my computer, using Thunderbird, I get most of the mails, but not all of them.
The missing ones are not arriving in a junk folder, this looks like they are simply not collected from the server. How is this possible ?
I can see the mails are still on the server, but they are not grabbed by Thunderbird ... even if I forced them unread on the server.
This is really a problem as my computer is the golden depository for my mails so if some are missing this is definitely bad :-(
Have any of you already faced this issue ?
How could I debug this ?

my first suggestion would be turn off the phone and see if the issue continues.

It sounds like you have some questions about how your email account stores your information. This article has some information about different email account types and how they work:

IMAP accounts
With IMAP accounts, incoming and outgoing messages are stored on a mail server until you delete them. When your account connects to the server, it’s synced so that the messages on your Mac are the same as those on the server. You can read and manage messages from any device that you use to access your account, and download messages or attachments to work with when you’re not connected to the Internet.
Microsoft Exchange accounts
These accounts are similar to IMAP accounts, in that messages are stored on a mail server and accessible from different computers and locations. You can use flags in an Exchange account with some limitations.
For an Exchange account to be set up in Mail, the Exchange server must support Exchange Web Services (EWS). Contact your server administrator for more information.
POP accounts
With POP accounts, incoming messages are stored on a mail server and are downloaded to your Mac when you access your account. The messages remain on the server until they’re deleted from the server.

Multiple birthdays on same day are not imported into a new calendar - only the last birthday for that day is imported into the calendar.
Any ideas what is going on?

Same problem with events from an iCal Calendar. I have an iCal Calendar that contains all the events I want included in my iPhoto Calendar - I use it every year, it has Birthdays and Anniversaries plus other important dates. It has worked fine in previous years using previous versions of iPhoto. In iPhoto 11, it only ever includes 1 event per day.
This also applies to Public Holidays
This is a major problem - the Calendar are unusable as it stands. It needs to fixed quickly as this is the time of year people buy their Calendars.

How to get rid of pix in my iphoto library that are not imported?

I needed to clear the memory card of my husband's camera recently, and didn't have the canon software installed on my computer. So I tried using iphoto, but it crashed because the movies are high resolution and I guess iPhoto couldn't handle it. I managed to get them transferred another way, but now every time I launch iPhoto I get a message telling me that there are images in my iPhoto library that are not imported, and asking if I want to import them. If I try to import them, iPhoto crashes again. If I say "cancel" I get the same message again next time. I tried going into the finder to get rid of them but don't know where they are. No matter what I try to throw away, I still get the same message. How to get rid of those photos?

You could also have used Image Capture in your Applications Folder.

iPhoto managed high resolution just fine. Perhaps you don't have the correct codec.
To solve you more immediate problem: go to your Pictures Folder and there you'll see your iPhoto Library Folder. Open it and inside you'll see a folder called 'Importing' or something close to that. Drag it to the desktop. Restart iPhoto. Does that help?

I'm uploading a Word file to my Adobe PDF Packet Annual subscription. I'm running Windows 8.0. Normally I will create a document in MS Word 2013, save it into our dropbox and then when I need to send it to someone (printer in this case) I will log onto Adobe PDF and upload the file to convert. Once it's converted, I'll send the pdf to the client or printer. In this case I created a poster with our logo (in a text box), text, a star (in a text box) and a few solid colored rectangles. Everything converted beautifully - as usual - except the solid text boxes.
I've used Adobe PDF Packet for a few years and have never seen this. Any ideas or other questions?

In the documents screen - sorry, new to this so not sure if that's the right terminology... Basically the screen showing all documents, if you drag down, there should be two options at the of of the page: Date and Name. Select Name and your list should now be in alphabetic order.

Users are not importing from BW to bobj

I am working on bobj 4.0 and bw 7.0 i am facing an issue while importing users from bw .i can import roles but i can not see the users .In Bw the roles have users but when i import them to bobj i can see only roles but not users ?????

I know this post is from almost 2 years back.
But we are running into an issue in BOBJ 4.1 SP2 with role and user import.
When we import roles from BW to BOBJ from SAP Authentication. All the roles are imported fine.
The user gets created in BOBJ when the user logs into Portal via Launchpad for the firs time.
Lets say we have 5 roles in BW that the user is part of, and when we import the 5 roles, we do not see the user as a member of the 5 roles in BOBJ. But the user is seen in only one role.
We do not see user in any other 4 roles imported from BW, even though the user is in those roles in BW. This causes a problem as the roles are applied to different folders in BOBJ and User now cant see the objects attached to the 4 roles that the user is part of.
We even tried scheduling a role and alias import from User Update tab in the SAP Authentication in CMC. That did not help either. I thought this should atelast synch up everything between BW and BOBJ.
Any thoughts on this please

Some of my clips from my camera are not importing into iMovie`

I just got a new video camera and I started using iMovie for my first time with it. It's a Panasonic DVD video camera. The first time I loaded my DVD into my computer with it, it imported all of my clips just fine. But now it seems, random clips will not import. When I get my import screen, where I can check and uncheck movies from my DVD to import into iMovie, some clips have thumbnails and import correctly. Other clips have no thumbnail, but instead just have the little "filmstrip" graphic on them. iMovie still knows how many seconds those "mystery" clips are, and it still acts as if it is importing them when I check them. However, they don't show up in iMovie when I go to edit them. They are not blank clips, they simply just don't show up. However, on my camera, ALL of the clips play fine.
Why is iMovie not gathering thumbnails/importing certain clips but it gathers thumbnails/imports the others? I know the disc and the camera is fine because the camera will play them, sound and video. What is up with my iMovie/computer?

I'd like to add that after I import these clips without thumbnails, iMovie does give me an error and say that they could not be imported. No explanation as to why, though. Again, they play fine on my camera.

For some strange reason my contacts are not populating on my macbook from my iPhone. I have iCloud turned on on both devices and I have selected the contacts folder to be in the cloud but my macbook isn't populating the data.

To copy your exchange account contacts to iCloud, do the following:
Go to Settings>iCloud, turn Contacts to Off, choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (any iCloud contacts will still be in iCloud).
Download the app My Contacts Backup. (If you have more than 500 contacts to transfer from our exchange account you will need the “Pro” version. If you aren't sure, start with the free version. When you use it, it will tell you if you need the paid version.) Use the app to back up the remaining contacts on your phone (from your exchange account) as a vCard attachment to an email that and send the email to yourself. Confirm that you have received the email.
Go to Settings>iCloud and turn Contacts back to On.
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Account (in the Contacts section) and set this to iCloud.
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars…tap your exchange account and turn off contacts syncing.*
Open the My Contacts Backup email and tap the attachment to import the exchange contacts back to your device, and to iCloud. Go to icloud.com to confirm that the contacts are there. If you ever want to "refresh" this with your current exchange contacts, you can reply to this conversation in the future and I can give you the steps to do so.
* You could leave it turned on if you want to reference it occasionally. If you do, just open contacts and tap Groups, then tap the exchange account so it is unchecked and tap Done. That will hide them from view so you don't see duplicates.
