Mailboxes how to remove bulk mails?

The Mails screen on my IPhone5 and Ipad2 show that I have over 2100 mails. When I download I only get mails that were sent recently so the large number remains. This is what I see
All mailboxes 2156
account 1     1570
account 2         12
account 3       574
In settings / Advanced:
delete from server "when moved from inbox
on all accounts
I had it set where when I open the mail on my desktop those mails are not viewable on my devices
how do I remove these?

  • How to remove repeated mails in exchange online outlook web app

    Hi,
Any help me , how to remove repeated mails in exchange online outlook web app . As we are in process of migrating mailboxes to office 365 . We have migrated 5 mailboxes . But when i checked outlook web app after migration completed , i could see repeated
mails . When i compared with on premise outlook and office 365 outlook web app  , there was lot of differences in read and unread mails .
Customer is expecting , same read and unread count should be replicated to office 365 owa.
Please suggest me to prevent this problem . As this is very urgent to give solution to customer .
    Big thanks in advance.
    Vinoth .

If you've setup Outlook 2013 so it's connected to Office 365, and you've import the .pst file into Outlook, it will be showing as another "mailbox" within Outlook, but default called "Personal Folders" (unless you renamed it when it was created).
You should find that you can simply copy the mail items / folders from Personal Folders into their new home in the Office 365 mailbox. Once that's done Outlook will synchronise the items with o365 which may obviously take a while to complete, but once it's
finished those messages will be available online.

  • How to undo bulk mail tag?

Some things have gone into my iphone 4S bulk mail folder and I'm wondering how to fix it so they never do again.  I've moved messages to the inbox, but the next time one comes in with that address, it goes to bulk.  Does anybody know how to fix that?

Geez another yahoo issue.  The spam on my phone showing in the "bulk" folder is different than on the desktop.  This has gotten so bad with yahoo.  I'm working on moving off of yahoo completely as it's been nothing but a disaster for over a year.

  • How to remove bulk Infopcackage Processes from process chain

    Hi Gurus
My senario is, I have a multiple source systems cnnected to my BI 7.0 system. Out of that I have to delete one of the source system. While I am deleting that it is showing all the Infopckages which are assigned to process chain saying IP is assigned to process chain.
I have more than 100 IPs in my system and more than 60 Process chains. Do I have to remove the that all infopackages individually or is there any simple task.
Please give me a simple approach to achive my task.
Points are assigned for right postings.
    THanks
    Peter B

    hi,
first search the source system in the RSA1 -> infosource -> select one by one and you could see the infopack -> u can delete the same.
but these infopack load process have to be removed from the process chain else chain will fail. have to do by process chain by process chain and activate the process chain once removed. this could be the best practice.

  • Cannot move junk email to Bulk Mail folder in Yahoo, greyed out

I've searched but so far no luck.  Ever since I added my two Yahoo email accounts on my iPhone 4, I cannot seem to send junk email from my inbox to my Bulk Mail folder, it is greyed out.  First off, I've confirmed that the Bulk Mail folder on my iPhone is the same as my Spam folder in Yahoo mail on the desktop.  I can see the same emails in both folders.  Anyone have the same experience and found a way to correct this, or is this just a Yahoo limitation?

I am having the same problem, but I'm not very clear on how to follow the steps.
    went to my yahoo account in IOS;
    hit edit, hit "new mailbox" at the bottom right corner of the screen;
    entered a name;
    below that, it has "Mailbox Location", I opened it;
it list all my personal folders, I am stuck here.
How do I "point the mailbox location to the Bulk Mail folder", as instructed? Am I missing a step?
This is for iPhone 4S, with the latest released version. Thank you!

  • How to remove a name from the pop up screen when you type in a letter

I stopped in the apple store today and stumped the genius bar !!!!!!
    I am so proud.
I want to know how to remove e-mail address's that pop up when you hit a alpha key.
These are address's that are NOT in my address book or anywhere on my computer.
They would be a one time e-mail that I sent over the last 3 years or so.
I do not retain old e-mails either which would trigger keeping the address alive.
    Thanks,
    Greg

In Mail, you can also select a popped-up name that you don't want to retain, click the triangle that appears when you move your cursor to the area just after your name, and select "Remove from Previous Recipients List" from the dropdown menu. This choice will not appear if the name is in your Address Book.

  • HT1349 deleting bulk mail

Would like to know how to delete bulk mail please

iOS (whether 6.1 or other) is for iPhone, iPad, and iPod.  iOS does not run on any Mac.
    (1) Please tell us which device has the bulk mail problem.
If your trouble is with mail on your MacBook Pro,
use your MBP's  > About this Mac... menu command to find and tell us:
    (2) which Mac OS X version you are using on the MBP, and
    (3) which mail program you are use on your MBP,
(OS X "Mail" or name the different mail program you use.)
Someone will offer specific suggestions based on the details you provide.

  • Deleting bulk mail

I would like to know how to delete bulk mail without opening at least one of them because of spam.
Before Mavericks, I was double clicking on the horizontal divider bar in mail, it would go to the bottom, and then I would "select all" and delete.    I can still do it that way but have to manually drag the bar downward.
I was just wondering if there is another way to do this.
    Thanks.

From what I see you can't delete the bulk folder.
However if you sign in to your web mail and look at settings you can select that the spam mail not be sent.
I haven't checked another thing out but it may work.
When I signed up my emails with a new imac, I noted that it created an imap program rather than a pop3.
Maybe deleting your accounts and then setting them up as a pop3 and smtp, you might avoid these bulk folders.

  • HT2500 How do I remove the deleted mailbox from the sidebar on Mail?

How do I remove the deleted mailbox from the sidebar on Mail?  Anyone knows how? Hit delete and dragging to the Trash but none seems to work.

Hi, try highlighting it the Right click or Control+click & see if Delete Mailbox is an option.

  • How to remove mails (and attachments) permanently?

    Hi!
I just realized my Archive.mbox (~/Library/Mail/V2/Mailboxes) is quite big (8.5GB) and I decided to remove old mails with large attachments.
As I use GMail account via POP3, first I removed mails from the Google account and I freed up about 1.5GB extra space. Later, I searched for mails with attachments in Mail.app, then sorted then and started to remove and emptied the trash. This operation was quite weird as some of them where moved to the Trash folder, some not.
As I was controlling the space of the Mailboxes folder this is what I noticed:
    - Archive.mbox - the size of the mbox didn't change (anyone know why?)
    - Deleted Messages.mbox increases while removing another mails then decreased while wiping it out (this is what I expected)
In summary, I removed a lot of mails and didn't free up ANY space! Does anyone know how to do it properly?
Also, while googling I found out about "Mail Downloads" folder which is moved from Library to ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail/Data/Library/Mail Downloads. As I set "Remove unedited downloads" to "When Mail Quits" can I simply remove all subdirs from this dictionary to save some space? This folder is only used for copy of attachments, right?
    Thanks for anwers,
    Bart

Each IMAP account it's own Archive folder. POP accounts all share the same Archive folder.
I removed a POP account in Mail but the archive messages did not delete. You would need to move them out of the Archive folder then trash to remove if you have archived other POP account messages. However, if it's only the one account, you can manually delete this folder in the User's Library then rebuild the Mail index.
    Quit Mail
Go to the User's Library folder. This folder is hidden by default. To unhide: Select the Finder in the Dock. Under Go in the Menu bar > hold down the Option key and you’ll see the Library.
    Scroll to Mail folder.
Mailboxes folder stores the "On My Mac" messages. IMAP accounts store it's Archive folder in the account's folder.
In Mailboxes you'll find the Archive folder. Delete.
In the MailData folder, delete the 3 files with envelope in the name.
Open Mail and it will reindex your messages.
Let me know if this helps.

  • How to Retrieve Deleted Mail (Mailbox accidentally deleted)

I accidentally deleted an email account (using MacMail) and lost all of the Sent mail from that account. I created a new account with the same information (except a new server), and the old incoming mail is there, but not the Sent mail. Any idea how to retrieve the Sent mail?

Deleting a mail account causes all your mail stored in that account’s mailboxes to be removed from the computer as well, and you were warned that this would happen by the following alert:
    Remove Account
Are you sure you want to remove the <AccountType> account "<AccountName>"?
This will permanently delete the account setup information, mailboxes, and messages from your computer. Messages stored on the mail server will not be affected. For IMAP-type accounts, this is not a problem because mail is stored on the server. If you deleted a POP account, however, your mail has been wiped out from the computer, not just moved somewhere.
To prevent that from happening, you should have moved your mail to custom “On My Mac” mailboxes instead of leaving it in the account’s mailboxes. Actually, using the account’s Inbox and Sent mailboxes for archiving purposes is a bad idea regardless.
If the POP account was configured to leave the messages on the server for some time, setting up the account again would cause any messages still on the server to be downloaded again, just like for IMAP accounts, but this would only work for received mail that has not yet been removed from the server.
If the messages are not on the server and you don’t have a backup (which you should have made before doing something like that), you may try to salvage as many deleted .emlx files as possible with a data recovery tool such as Data Rescue II or FileSalvage (the files to be recovered would be different in the case of Mail 1.x). Of these, the only one I know for sure that can currently recover deleted .emlx files is FileSalvage. Stop using the computer right now if you want to try that, as anything you do with it may cause the deleted files to be overwritten.

how to remove my icloud mail from icloud server ?

If you don't want to keep it, select it, on the iCloud website Mail page click the Trash icon in the toolbar to move it to the Trash, then click the cogwheel icon at top right and choose 'Empty Trash'. Or in the Mail application drag the messages to the Trash and from the Mailbox menu choose 'Erase deleted items' then 'iCloud'.
If you want to keep it, in the Mail application drag the messages to another mailbox under 'On My Mac'.
