Is there a possibility of mailing the smartform output directly from the smartform itself.........bcoz we have an option email in output device....pls advice

In the smartform itself how will you get the data to print. So I think you are using some print program to get the data right?
if you are using standard print program then that will take care of mailing funnctionality . You just need to configure in the NACE transaction.

and why would you use iPhoto rather than Mail anyway - mail has more templates, has a sent mail box, uses you address book lists and lets you control the message format so PC users can receive photos - and works for everyone

Mailing directly from iPhoto creates .txt attachments for each photo
When I am in iPhoto, and I mail several pictures directly from iPhoto using Apple Mail, the resulting message gets sent with a .txt attachment (presumably with the photo file name) in between each photo. So if there are 30 photos, there will also be an additional 30 text attachments.
This is extremely annoying and confusing for the recipients, is there anyway of stopping this? I did deselect the option to send the titles and comments, so I have no idea why it is inserting these extra text attachments.I tried toggling that option and testing it, and it still showed the extra .txt attachments. I looked at the files, and they are blank 4k attachments. Now if I add comments between the pictures, this text shows up in these attachments.
I noticed that in iPhoto, if you email directly using the Email button there, and deselect comments and titles, the pictures are inserted into the message with a few blank lines of text in between. When the mail is sent these blank lines are converted into text attachments.
I did an experiment and sent an email by manually attaching pictures in Mail, and ensuring there was no spaces or text in between them, and it worked. No text attachments. The moment I inserted some text or even blank lines between the photos in the message, it sent these as additional text attachments.
I tried switching to RTF format messages instead of Plain Text (which I use by default), and it still did the same thing.
I guess it's just how Mail always wants to put the picture in the body of the message, rather than just attach it to the message without displaying it on the screen... Is there a way to turn this automatic display of attachments off when composing? -

I want to send mail from my oracle database.
I have followed the steps below:

2>set smtp_out_server parameter
3>To send mail, execute utl_mail.send(sender=>'',recipients=>'',message=>'ABC');
My concept is to provide smtp/mail server ip & port in smtp_out_server parameter's value.
But One person said that oracle database server can make itself as a smtp server.So that we can assign database server ip & port in smtp_out_server parameter's value.We have to just on the smtp service in oracle database itself.There is no requirement of smtp/mail server ip & port.Is it true?How can we do that?
In google to Add an SMTP Service,the document said in the 1st line that on the Services tab on the left, select a Process tree node (for example, the default Oracle Enterprise Gateway).
I am sorry to say that I did not find that.Anyone can help me please?

Also you mentioned you were able to recieve mails from Domain user. Could you please get the Internet Headers: Open a mail from domain sender -> file ->property -> Internet Headers, send it with a mail to me:[email protected]

You need to export from WLM and yes, the headers will be blank. If you have an old computer with OE on it, you can export to Outlook then move the pst to the new computer.

Windows Mail. It seems that Microsoft recently fixed this problem (partially) which I found referenced on a different site. I went to the control panel (I'm using Vista), and ran Windows Update. After updating both the Important and the Optional items, I went
into Outlook 2010 and imported my mail and contacts from Windows Mail. The header information does now import correctly. However, in WM there is a column which shows you from which of your accounts an email arrived. In Outlook it's called "Category". This
information remains lost after the migration, and the entire column is empty (though new emails that are downloaded do get tagged properly). Can you tell me how to re-import my messages without losing this information? Would using your workaround of importing
the files into an earlier version of Outlook solve this problem? If so, which version should I use? -
E-mail directly from Lightroom
I am stuck on getting Lightroom to prepare an email with attached images. I am using Scott Kelby's Lightroom book as a guide. I followed all of the steps. When I export to the email preset, Microsoft Outlook Express opens correctly but does not open a new email with images already attached. The problem appears to be in the Outlook Express settings. Any ideas?

My apologies for not updating the instructions yet for the newer lightroom export dialog. Here is how I would do it using the current Export dialog.
After running the setup program, it should have automatically added a new item to Lightroom's Post-processing, After export list of actions called 'Mapi Mailer'. To complete the installation, you will need to do the following in Lightroom:
In Lightroom:
1. Click on the File|Export... menu item.
2. Choose the 'For E-Mail' preset under the 'Lightroom Presets' item on the left side of the dialog.
3. Press the Add button on the bottom left of the dialog.
4. Type 'MapiMailer' as the new preset name, and leave the folder name as 'User Presets'.
5. (optional but recommended) Change the Export Location Destination Folder to a root level folder with a short name like C:\Temp and uncheck the Put in Subfolder option. >>> See NOTES below for the reason.
6. Choose the new 'Mapi Mailer' item in the Post-processing After export list.
7. Right click on the 'MapiMailer' preset you created in the 'User Presets' in the left part of the dialog and select 'Update with Current Settings'
8. Click the Cancel button if you are not trying to email anything right now, or the Export button if you have already selected some files to email and wish to do so.
NOTES
The number of files which can be attached this way seems to be limited by the length of the full path to each file in the export location. I'm not sure but I suspect that 1024 characters is the limit of a command line length. If you use the default export location, the length of each attached filename is huge. By changing the Export Locations destination folder to a small root level path, the path length needed to specify each attachment on the command line will be much shorter, and therefore you can attach more files.

Sending Files by e-Mail Directly from Finder
One of the great features of Pages '09 is the ability to select Share/Send via e-Mail/ and then chose the file format. I use this a lot as I work as much as possible in Pages because I've never like MS Word but need to send files to colleagues in either Word or PDF formats.
Now what would be really great is to be able to "right-click" on a file in finder and have the option to send by e-mail. This eliminates having to find the file once you've composed your mail. It's a small thing but in my workflow it would save a lot of time. Anyone know of an easy way to do this?

Recipients of images sent direct from iPhoto are unable to open them, please help
When I send images in an e-mail direct from iPhoto recipients are unable to access them as they do not arrive as jpegs. Please give me a clue how I can remedy this.
Perseverance pays off. I have found that I need to export the images I require into a folder in Pictures and this ensures they are jpegs and can be opened by my recipients. Hope this reply helps others or am I just a slow learner!!

I can no longer send emails from my mac yahoo business account, but can send them directly from yahoo. just not from mac mail. I've been able to send emails perfectly fine until today. I've been on the phone with yahoo mail and they've verified that my account settings are correct and I can send email from yahoo. I can receive emails via Mac mail, but just can't send them. An error message appears that says:
"Sending the message content to the server failed." I can't send emails from my Mac desktop, iphone or ipad. Any suggestions! Help! I'm a Mac rookie and so frustrated! Thanks.Please read and begin using Can receive email, but not send email. I had a similar issue with Comcast mail (could receive by not send) and found my answer in this letter. For me it took resetting the outgoing mail and telling the system to use a password when sending outgoing mail. If you need help with that please advise and I'll tell you where to look.

When I send a photo directly from iPhoto using the Mail app on my iMac, the wrong photo appears on my iPad2 Mail app. However the correct photo shows if I log into gmail on the iPad2. I assume there is a glitch with my "Mail" app on the iPad2? Any suggestions for getting the correct photo to show on iPad2?
Update: I was able to have the correct photo show in my email as received on my iPad2 by changing a setting on my IMac prior to sending the photo on the email.
On the iMac, I went into iPhoto > Preferences > Email photos using > Mail (in lieu of "iPhoto"). This seems to have corrected the issue. I'm not sure why. Now the correct photo shows up when received on my iPad2. -

I am receiving returne postmaster e-mails saying e-mails were not deliverable, and some say they were blocked as being spam mail because they were sent to U.S. military addresses. The e-mails are coming from an outside source and are not being sent directly from my e-mail, but whoever is doing it is putty my address in as the sender. How do I stop this?
at this point the best you could do would be to delete your email account, or ignore the emails

No menu option to mail PDF directly from preview
I used to have the option to mail a PDF directly from Preview, but this option no longer appears under the "File" menu. Can anyone assist?

Pics from mail directly in iPhoto - Geotags removed?
A friend sent me a few pictures he took with his iPhone (4) via email.
I received those pictures and opened the emails with Apple mail (5.3).
Then I chose the option "add to iPhoto" to save the pictures into my iPhoto-library (iPhoto11 9.3.2).
But when I was looking at those pictures I noticed, that all the metadata (time, date and geotag) was missing!
To find out what went wrong I took a more complicated approach: I did save the (very same!) pictures out of mail onto my desktop and from there I did drag them into iPhoto.
And now I have all the data I was missing before!
So my question is: is that a bug or a feature?
And if it's a "feature", why is it, that the more complicated way to save pictures from email into iPhoto the better one??

Mountain Lion won't allow me to save photos from Mail directly to iPhoto (as you could in all other recent OSX). Tried opening iPhoto and then click/drag each photo onto iPhoto icon on dock (as Help instructed) but the photo will not drag. Suggestions?
I have real a lot of posts that say to click Command+Option while opening iPhoto and this will open the Photo Library Repair window, but... this is not happening.
Be sure you're holding the correct keys and that you're holding them long enough. Depress them before clicking on iPhoto and don't let go until the menu shows up.
If you don't want to lose those photos, make a back up now. Hopefully it's not too late.
