Mailing in iPad for repair

I broke my iPad but have apple care. Problem is I can't register it or find the address or instructions to send in to be fixed. Tried express lane but am stuck. Any suggestions? Thanks. I'm totally new to apple.

How it broke wasn't indicated in the original post. Apple care is a good program for faulty equipment, but like automobile warranties does not cover damage due to accidents. That has to be covered under an adittional inusrance. If you have home owner's insurance that may cover the cost of damage depending on deductible.

It sounds like you might need to contact Yahoo! if you aren't able to setup your email account as a new account after deleting it.

Mailing Ipod Touch for repair......

I set up a repair for my Ipod Touch on the Apple support website. Now do they send me some sort of shipping envelope so I can mail my Ipod to them for repair, or do I have to mail my Ipod to them myself? I was wondering since it has been 2 weeks since I filled out the online form for it to be repaired and I have received nothing in the mail.

Mailing off macbook for repair--how long should it take?

Sometime next week I will be mailing off my macbook to have the optical drive replaced under warranty. Since I'm mailing it to some shop in Texas and I'm not taking it to an apple store, I assume they will have the parts on hand and will fix it immediately--by the day after they receive it--right?
For those of you who HAVE mailed off your macbook for repair: how long did it take to get it back? A week? 2? 3?

The place you're mailing it to in Texas is one of the main facilities where Apple fixes portable computers in the US. Their turn around time is typically same day, or usually within 24-36 hours. Factor in shipping to and from (Sundays if involved) and you'll get your machine, barring any shipping incidents within 5-7 days (or less).

Apple doesn't accept shipments just sent in to them. Either bring it in to them in person, or call them to arrange a mailer.

To prepare my iPad for repair (speaker works intermittently), I started the "Erase All Content and Settings" (as instructed) over 14 hours ago. It's a 16GB iPad that was pretty full... how long should it take for the resetting to complete?

What happens is that the weaker the battery, the less time it takes it to charge (and run down) because it doesn't take long to reach its lowered maximum capacity.
Although I never worry about my battery and leave my portables plugged in most of the time, that isn't necessarily the best thing for the battery.

I have just arranged to return an ipad for repair through the apple website but it didn't tell me where to send it, does anybody have the address?

Mail-In MacBook Apple Repair Service?

My son is in China, and I have his MacBook which is under the AppleCare extended warranty, and I've heard there is a fast "mail-in" service for repairs. (The DVD drive went kaput.)
Can anyone give me info on this service, if it indeed exists?

Yes, there are fast; maybe to fast. Mine came back with scratches in it.

Notifications aren't working for Mail on iPad mini

Notifications is working fine on my new iPad mini, except for Mail. Mail on my iPhone 4 running iOS 6 works great but not on my new iPad mini running iOS 7.
When an email comes in on my iPhone while it is OFF I get notified with an Alert. On my iPad I get nothing. On my iPhone while I'm using an app I get an email Alert pop up that either has to be Read or DISMISSed. On my iPad I get nothing. On my iPhone the Badge App Icon works to show the number of Unread messages as soon as I turn it on and look at the Home Screen. On the iPad I get nothing until I open Mail and wait for the mail to come in. THEN the Alerts start popping up and the Badge App Icon starts working.
On both devices I have three POP email accounts with my ISP, and one IMAP Gmail account. I've compared Notification settings between the two devices and they are the same. Settings > Notification Center > Notification View is ON (Green). In Mail each account is set ON for Alerts, Badge App Icon, Show in Notification Center, Show on Lock Screen, and Show Preview. In "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" I have Fetch New Data to Push and the next screen I have Push ON and each account set to Fetch.
I got the iPad mini a couple of days ago and was running iOS 6. After I added my email accounts I noticed that I was getting email Alerts on my iPhone but not on the iPad. I checked all the settings and finally I upgraded yesterday to iOS 7 thinking that would fix it the problem. It didn't.
I've tried rebooting (holding the On/Off button until I get the "Slide to power off"), and even did a Reset All Settings. Those didn't work either.
What am I missing?

While waiting for someone to offer help I continued with my own troubleshooting, feeble as that may have been.
I thought I had done the basic stuff already with no success, like rebooting and resetting, so I tried deleting accounts, one at a time, to see if maybe notifications were stuck in one and affecting the others. That didn't work.
After deleting all accounts, I waited an hour or so, and added one account back, starting with my Gmail account. Notifications began working! I added another account and that one worked also.
Finally, with all accounts back in the iPad notifications are working like they should!

Why isn't the mail notification working for iPad 2?

Went to the Genius Bar this am to have my mail notification fixed for my iPad2. Thought it was working until I came home and it's still not working. Anyone have a workaround?

Do you have a computer with iTunes on it that you have associated the iPad with?
If the answer is yes, simply set iTunes up to back up the device locally, fully sync the apps, photos, movies, etc. A copy of everything, including the config of the device and all your settings (scores) will be made on the computer's drive. This even includes a backup copy of all the apps. When you get the replacement device (probably a refurbished blank unit), a Restore from that backup will totally reconstruct what you have today.
If the answer is no, you will have quite a bit more work to do in order to get back to the original state that the iGadget is currently in (minus the crack).

The email flag is not included in the apps search parameters. You are limited to text attributes only.
