Mailing photos via Entourage

I select one or more pictures in iPhoto, select mail(Entourage) and then select a size that's less than 400 KB which is Entourage size limit for including a picture in the mail window (either sending or receiving). When Entourage boots the picture shows as an attachment but does not show in the mail window. Instead there's a image name like IMG_1846 but no picture.
The only way I can get the picture to show in the composing mail window is to drag it to the desktop and drag it back to the message window. How can I get the picture to show in the message window when Entourage boots? The picture does show in the message window when I open the sent mail.

In Entourage, check the Format menu and see if HTML is checked. If it isn't checked, your picture CANNOT show up in a plain-text message--if it is already checked, here's the link to the Entourage forum because I haven't a clue (I use Entourage, but I always compose plain-text):

I live in Canada and am interested in ordering some photos via iPhoto. Photos are for delivery to UK. So I'd like to place the order with Apple iPhoto service in UK rather than in Canada (which delivers only to US/Canada).
Is this possible?
Or must I use a photo printer other than iPhoto?

Title problem when emailing iPhoto photos via Entourage

Hi,
I have been attempting to email photos from iPhoto with the title that i have given the photo (not just the random one assigned by my camera). However, whenever i select a photo and share it via email it always assigns the original title like p111110. instead of holidayphoto. for example. This occurs whether title and comment boxes are ticked or not. Does anyone have any idea as i would like to send out photos with informative titles so my friends have a clue what they are looking at.

You're confusing the Title with the Filename. They are not the same thing. The title is an entry in the IPTC metadata that is understood by any photo app on any system. If you want to use the Title as a filename then file -> Export and check out the option to use the Title as a filename in the resulting dialogue.

How can i send multiple videos and photos, via mail, at the same time?

you allowed to send only one video or 10(+) photos via mail.
but can you send both at the same time? so 10(+) photos and a video (or more than one) in one mail?
because if my mom has birthday pictures or something like that. She likes to be able to send it directly from her iphone to every person she knows in just one mail.

Those restrictions are generally part of the email provider, not just the phone. Attachments are restricted due to size, bandwith use, etc. Trying to send that much information in an email attachment is even restricted on a computer. Sharing via photo sites is generally a better option for large amounts of pictures and large video files.

I'm new to the mobile broadband community and would like to know if I can attach photos taken on my phone to an e-mail. I have little interest in transmitting photos from my phone to other phones and I do not use text, so I am thinking I really don't need to get a messaging plan. Right or wrong?

Yes absolutely. You can always attach a photo via an E-mail just as you would on a computer. However, remember the size of the photos you are sending [i.e. File size!]. Sending a photo via E-mail will count towards your data cap whatever that may be on your plan. Photos, several of them, and just E-mail attachments in general can add up quickly so be sure to stay under your data limit to avoid extra fees.

E-mailing photos from iPhoto through Entourage

I have iPhoto 2 and I am using Panther. When I e-mail photos from iPhoto through Apple Mail, the photos appear directly in the e-mail HTML. When I send them through Entourage, they only appear as attachments. How can I send photos from iPhoto through Entourage with the photos appearing in the HTML body of the e-mail?

Since your question is about Entourage, you'll have better luck seeking the answer at the Mactopia forums, but I don't think Entourage works like Mail in this respect.

Can't share photos via e-mail from iPhoto

I am trying to share some photos via iPhoto by mail. When I try to enter an e-mail address in the To box, it won't accept it - as soon as I leave to box, the address I have written just dissappers. It also won't allow me to just select the address that shows up when I start typing.
I see that people have had this problems even last year and since I have just upgradded to version 9.2.2 I am disappointed that this bug still exists. I would have thought other people would have the same problem but I haven't seen any fixes or answers. Is there something in my settings that is wrong?

Alternatively, use Apple's Mail for the job. It has Templates too - and more of them.

E mail problems via i Photo

Hello. I'm very unteccy but hope someone can help me in a simple way :-)
I have a Macbook Pro and used to be able to email photos from iphoto from my hotmail account to myself in hotmail (I don't have a printer near my Pro so have to print things upstairs via my husband's printer!). It all used to work fine, but has recently stopped working. First it brought up a white box with a ! and the wording was invisible so the error message was blank.
Then I re-entered the hotmail and a private work account info into the iphoto Preferences under 'accounts' to see if that made a difference, so I could try and send from 2 different accounts...now I just get the 'your email did not go through because of a problem with the server' message.
I have no idea if it's relevant but I had recently changed to a BT account for broadband and that caused issues in itself as I couldn't send any mails via my personal outgoing server and had to do it via btinternet.com because of compatibility issues between BT and the Macbook Pro (even though my iphone is still fine sending outgoing mails with my normal private server!).
Please does anyone have any suggestions to help me get i photo working again to send email photos via iphoto?

Many have had problems emailing with iPhoto as the email client. Deleting the email account in iPhoto's Accounts preference pane and adding it back has helped some. However, most find that switching to Mail as the email client in iPhoto worked for them. If you want a theme link iPhoto offers check out Mail's photo stationary.
Also using Mail will give you an Sent copy and give you better access to your Contacts and groups.

If you are using Windows Live Mail (WLM) 2011 then I think you may need the fix mentioned in this document to enable WLM in the Elements sharing preferences.

Edit: The fix mentioned in the first reference above seems to have dropped out of the system. It is probably best to go for the 2012 version which doesn't need the fix.

How to send photo via AOL e-mail

How do I make AOL my default client so I can send a photo via AOL E-mail. When I try to send a photo to my e-mail, I get a message saying that I must make AOL my default client. I can not see a way to do that. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

You could try this:
1) In your Internet Explorer, select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
2) In the Internet Options window, choose the Programs tab.
3) Select AOL from the Email Drop-Down list.
4) Click Apply and OK.
