Mailtool will not work in Firefox 15.0

My Mailtool use to work and then came Firefox 15.0. Now I have a greyed-out area where normally there would be an arrow to select an option to check for new emails. I'm able to set up the Mailtool with my email address, and type of server and password, but it will not indicate new mail. When checking the add-ons it will say that it is working. I have done everything the suggestions have told me to do, uninstall the Mailtool, clear the history and cache, reboot and re-install, but always the same problem. I opened a case file with conduit but nothing has happened and they have not communicated with me, even after I updated the problem by sending them a .jpg of what is indicated and I told them it does work in IE9; just not in Firefox 15.0. I would be happy going back to the version before 15.0 if I could only find someplace to download it.

The previous version was 14.0.1. It does have some publicly disclosed security vulnerabilities, so it is not recommended, but it is available along with all past releases of Firefox if you find that is the best balance of security and functionality.
Perhaps you could find an alternate notifier for Firefox 15? I installed the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/simple-mail SimpleMail] add-on, which can load your email in a tab to read and reply. It does notification and supports SSL access to POP mail. However, I mistakenly pointed it to a mailbox with over 2000 items so I'm still waiting to play with it... if you never delete messages off the server, this might not be the best choice!

Kensington mouse scroll will not work in firefox but does in other apps

In all other application my scroll works fine, but in Firefox it will not work. I have tried switching the settings and still got nothing. I also check for driver updates on the mouse driver but they are up to date.

if websites report that javascript is disabled, try the following: enter '''about:config''' into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named '''javascript.enabled'''. make sure that it is set to '''true''' and else double-click it in order to change its value.
if this doesn't help, please also make sure that you don't have any extensions (like noscript) installed, that might block the execution of javascript or other active content...

Animation will not work in Firefox. It works in Safari.

I created an animation and uploaded it to wordpress.com. Using Firefox, I went to the website to play the animation. But the animation wouldn't appear. I checked it again using the Safari browser. And the animation appeared and it worked fine. Why will it not work in Firefox? I uploaded the newest version of Adobe Flash and installed it. And I have the most recent version of Firefox on my Mac computer. Will someone fix my problem please? Thank you.

Hello. Thank you for the information. I checked if the flash plugin is activated in the Firefox browser using your instructions. And it is active. The problem seems to occur with all of the flash containing web pages in my wordpress site. My art machine animation and other animations on the site do not appear when the pages load. I checked other websites containing swf file animations and they work.

Problem: In my wordpress.com website, none of the .swf flash files will appear using the Firefox nor Chrome browsers. But they do in the Safari browser.

Trend Micro will not work with Firefox 9.0.1

With the latest upgrade (again) of Firefox 9.0.1 Trend Micro will not work and cannot be enabled. I use Trend Micro Titanium Maximum 2012. This feature worked fine before the latest upgrade. Why can't Firefox at least try to beta test their latest and greatest before problems like this happen?

Site search will not work in Firefox but works with Chrome

I run three websites. One is personal (www.rossolson.org) and two are for non-profit organizations (www.outpostministries.org and www.tccsa.tc). All have site search through Google, my own site is paid to be ad-free, the non profits are free and without adds because of their non profit status. For a while now, site search does not work with Firefox for the non profit sites but does for the paid site. Chrome and IE work fine. Is there a solution? Some setting to activate? Is this Google's doing?

I am able to type a search word in but on clicking it, nothing changes. No results. the word just stays there.
I also downloaded the https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/live-http-headers/ -- at first I wondered if it was not letting me install. So I allowed it in exceptions. But I'm not clear on what it does or what I do to use it.

Our online paychex will not work with Firefox 4. I need to go back to Firefox 3

Carefully clean the disc and try installing again." So this disc went from the box to my computer... should not need to be cleaned, right? Videos will not work in Firefox but work fine in windows explorer. why?

I tried to verify my plug-in's and all are enabled. I found where was suggested to remove and reinstall Firefox but that did not fix problem either. I tried to change viewer for videos but still no luck. Not certain why Quicktime doesn't work. Note, videos when browsing will not open but everything else works fine. Videos work fine with windows Explorer, but not Firefox.

My fingerprint scanner will not work with Firefox 4.

I used to be able to use my fingerprint scanner to log into all of the websites I use like Facebook, YouTube, Yahoo etc... But now since I updated to Firefox 4 it doesn't work anymore. The program that I use is called Digital Persona. How do I fix this issue?

I am testing our website :www.winningsportstips.com and we have Virtuemart installed and the site will not allow me to select 'add to cart' feature. However if I open the website in Internet Explorer, the feature is available and it functions correctly. I am running XP and have 'accept all cookies' enabled in settings.

My adobe flashplayer latest version will not work since firefox 7.0 update

I know there is a problem with this because I have already seen it many times on the internet. Not happy that I can no longer watch any videos since the update. I have downloaded the latest version of adobe. I can see the"flash player" under my control panel but it is not listed in my plugins under the tools/add-ons.
I also followed the procedure shown on mozilla support to download the add on manager but it did not work either. It does also state on the mozilla website that they are quite aware that this has caused a problem for many. When is this going to be corrected?
So, I finally went back to Firefox version 3.6 just so I could still see my videos.

Do you have tried to disable Flash Player Protected Mode (since v11.3) ? (that could explain why it is working with Flash Player v11.2)
Do you have tried to disable Hardware Acceleration (Flash Player or/and Firefox) ?
Do you have tried to disable all other extensions and plugins in Firefox ?
Do you have tried to use the Firefox safe mode ?
Do you have tried to disable your antivirus / firewall programm ?

Java will not work on Firefox 3.6 and 4.0.Why?

Everytime you upgrade firefox 3.6 onwards In win XP you are advised to upgrade Flash player and now for FF 3.6.8 player 10.1.54.. I don't find any justification.I would rather suggest user of Mozilla to clear the unwanted file created on macromedia flash player at C:\Documents and Settings\(**type__yuorfoldername)\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects> then except for s.ytimg.com ,ww.youtube.com you can safely delete the other junk.Thn move on to E:\Documents and Settings\ **type your foldername)\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys perform similar exercise. When I log in to Netflix, I cannot play instant movies from my Queue. I called Netflix and they said to reset my router. I did this and now Netflix Instant play works with Internet Explorer but not Firefox.
