Main.cpp uses different settings?

Hi
only two *.cpp in my project. Why is now main.cpp using suddenly different settings than the other cpp?
Many thanks

Maybe you yourself changed a setting, or when created new .cpp file. Please explain more what do you mean.

  • Use different settings on different computers

    When I change homepage and/or startup option (homepage vs. restore last session) on one of the paired computers, the same settings get propagated to other linked computers. How can I share tabs, history, ect. between linked computers, but have them use different stratup options and home pages?

    use Firefox SYNC
    Firefox Sync - Take your bookmarks, tabs and personal information with you. Firefox Sync is a service that lets you synchronize your bookmarks, history, passwords, add-ons and open tabs with another copy of Firefox – like one on another computer or on a mobile phone. • Is it possible to export 2 PDFs (using different settings) at the same time from InDesign?

    As above. The purpose being to end up with one high res (print) pdf, and one low res (online) pdf.

    Cheers pal.
    I'm currently using a 'batch process' in Acrobat Pro on all my Print PDFs (to convert to online PDFs). Guess I'll stick with that then.
    Was hoping there would be something magic I could do when making the original PDFs from InDesign.

  • Use two Time Machine Drives with different settings?

    Hello everybody, is it possible to use time machine with two drives and use different settings for each drive?
    For example: at home I currently have two external LaCie d2 quadra drives. My plan is to leave one at home, and take one to Uni. On the drive which I have at home, I have backups of a secont parttion of the drive which I am taking to Uni, which contains some important files (about 500 GB). Is it possible to have a backup of that data partiton on the drive which I'm leaving at home, but not on the drive which I'm taking to uni?
    I know that I can set up two drives to work simultaneously, but can I say to exclude folder A on drive A, but not on drive B?
    Thanks a lot in advance

    Thanks for the fast reply. II'll try to make things clearer. I have two drives (let's call them drive A and B). Drive A has one partition, and is my primary back up drive. Drive B has two partitions (one with files and one for Time Machine). Currently, the files partition of Drive B is being backed up to Drive A. When I connect drive B, Time machine asks me if I want to replace the existing drive, or use both. Using both is what I want. However, I don't need Drive B to back up the files from it's second partition, as that would not make any sense; I do, however, want drive A to back up the data partition from drive B. I guess the easiest way is to manually change the settings, or just live with a larger backup....

  • How can I specify different settings in CustomSettings.ini based on the OS that is being deployed?

    I originally thought this could be achieved using "OSVersion" or "OSCurrentVersion" but (unless I'm mistaken) those variables are in fact tied to the OS from witch you actually launch the MDT Wizard right? i.e. say I run MDT from within
    Windows PE to deploy Windows 8. The "OSVersion" and "OSCurrentVersion" will contain values for the Windows PE instance that is currently running MDT and not the Windows 8 OS I am actually deploying right? Assuming that is the case then
    is there some variable in MDT that stores version information about the OS you are currently deploying? If so can I use that in CustomSettings.ini to specify different settings for specific OSes I deploy?

    Rens,
    First thanks for responding. Next please don't take my response the wrong way but this is a bit of a pet peeve of mine. Maybe I'm just "doing it wrong" but I have used the TaskSequenceID trick in the past and thats actually where my problem lies.
    Too many people are recommending this course of action without including the caveats. Your response implies that using TaskSequenceID is as simple as just adding "TaskSequenceID" to priority and then creating entries based on the TSIDs themselves.
    In reality getting this to work is far more challenging. One needs to only check the following threads (and several others) for the issues other people are having when they try to use TaskSequenceID in CustomSettings.ini:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/e17a1952-d1f7-41ef-8231-0d6fcc41882e/mdt-2012-settings-per-task-sequence?forum=mdt#f0810428-e6fd-468e-8c76-ca18b210c191
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/320aafee-07d2-4b96-9138-a902fec7edf5/mdt-2012-custom-rules-by-tasksequenceid-not-working-now
    In fact, following the steps outlined here was the *only* way I was able to get TaskSequenceID to work for me:
    http://www.the-d-spot.org/wordpress/2012/07/20/how-to-use-different-settings-per-task-sequence-with-mdt-2012/
    Even then its causing some erratic issues in some areas like button lag in the Wizard because ZTIGather has to run twice and pre-checked Applications in the wizard still installing even if they are unchecked. Since my needs are more OS-specific (as opposed
    to Task Sequence specific) I was hoping for a better solution. I suppose I can check BDD.log but I was hoping someone here had already encounter this same issue and hit upon a solution they could share.
    Anyone?

  • MDT 2013 - Different settings per task sequence

    Hi,
    I'm trying to create different settings for different TaskSequenceIDs. For one TS I wanted to join the pc to a workgroup and do SkipApplications=YES and for the other TS I wanted to join a domain and do SkipApplications=NO. But I can't get it to work for
    some strange reason.
    I've tried and tested this solution https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/scriptcenter/Different-settings-per-4faa55e9#content but it doesn't work.
    I tried this too : http://www.the-d-spot.org/wordpress/2012/07/20/how-to-use-different-settings-per-task-sequence-with-mdt-2012/ but it doesn't work.
    Perhaps MDT 2013 acts different then 2012 and 2010???? It would be nice if you could help me out on this one. :-)
    Paul

    @fapw, we use the database for a few years now and we're quite familiar with it. But we're going to install MDT for a client and they don't have SQL and they don't want to have it installed on one of their servers. So that's why I'm playing with the customsettings.ini.
    The first I made was for a plain and simple capture, then I added Make&Model and I'm making it more and more complex. The idea is to have a final customsettings.ini that imitates - or gets as close as possible to - what we have already accomplished with
    the database.
    In the meantime I've read that the skip-panels-stuff is something that stands above everything and thus it's not possible to control that using properties, like f.ex. MACaddress. Well, that's alright then.
    But I've got GOOD news for you all : selecting values for variables based on TaskSequenceID DOES WORK in MDT 2013 and ADK 8.1. This is what I did :
    https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/scriptcenter/Different-settings-per-4faa55e9#content
    So I've downloaded the vbs, created an "external" tasksequenceid.ini which is read at the beginning of my Task Sequence and booted up the pc. When you select the tasksequence of your choice the parameters get filled in correctly ! OSDComputername
    was the variable that I used to show me if the other tasksequenceid.ini file was read or not. If yes, the computername would have to be my value, if not it would be MININT-randomnumber.
    Only downside of this fantastic wizard is that going back to change one of your options is not possible anymore. The moment a variable has a value, it doesn't change anymore! That particular behaviour was messing up my tests yesterday.

  • Is there a way to use different search engines on the main bar and on the small one without having to switch anything on the small one?

    I want to use google when I type to search in the main bar and wikipedia on the small search bar on the right. However, they both seem to use the same search engine, depending on which one I've chosen on the small search bar. I want them to use different ones without having to click and change engines. How can I do that?

    You can use a (one letter) keyword search on the location/address bar and assign a keyword via "Manage Search Engines".
    You can use the Keyword Search extension to specify which search engine to use for searching via the location/address bar.

  • Printing using Proof settings results in very different output from Shop vs ID

    Shop and InDesign come out with very different color values using the same settings when printing with Proof Settings.  Anyone know why, or which is correct?  Here's my scenario:
    1. In the color settings for both apps I turn off Black Point Compensation, Use Dither and Compensate for Scene referred profiles (some are Shop only obviously).  Other than that it is default settings.
    2. I create a CMYK document with 4 squares.  Filled with 100% Cyan,  100% Magenta,  100% Yellow,  and 100% Black respectively.  Setup the Working CMYK in both apps to Coated Forga27.
    4. I setup a Custom Proof condition with an ISO Uncoated Yellowish CMYK profile.  Preserve CMYK Numbers and Black point compensation are both unchecked.
    5. In the Print engine I set Color Management to Use Proof settings, Color handling done by the application, and leave the Printer profile set to the CMYK working space (Coated Forga27), and Output Color as Composite CMYK in ID.  Black Point compensation is also unchecked here.
    6. Now when I print to file and Distill (job settings set to leave color unchanged and compression is off) the resulting files from both apps here is what I get:
    InDesign CS4:
    Cyan square (C:84 M:14.6 Y:0 K:0 ), Magenta square (C:2.9 M:84.9 Y:14.1 K:0 ), Yellow square (C:0 M:6.2 Y:84.1 K:0 ), Black square (C:67 M:62.75 Y:56.86 K:46.28 )
    PhotoShop CS4:
    Cyan square (C:92.94 M:12.55 Y:5.49 K:0 ), Magenta square (C:5.49 M:94.51 Y:13.73 K:0 ), Yellow square (C:0 M:5.49 Y:92.94 K:0 ), Black square (C:83.14 M:85.49 Y:78.04 K:98.82 )
    Needless to say the results are very different.  I went ahead and did some manual Profile -> Profile conversions in Shop to see what is happening and it seems like Shop is doing a conversion from the Documents assigned CMYK ->Proofing CMYK-> Printer CMYK.  But Shop adds black  point compensation in automatically for the final portion of the color  conversion (Proofing CMYK-> Printer CMYK) even if it is unchecked in the  color settings, Proofing dialog, and the print engine.
    InDesign has an  entirely different way of "using Proof settings".  It seems that if you choose  Use Proof Settings in the print engine it just assigns Proof CMYK to the  document and Converts that to Printer CMYK.  Document CMYK is ignored  completely.  Verified this through manual conversions in Shop as  well.
    What gives?  Which do we trust?  To me it sounds like PhotoShop is doing the closest to what I would expect.. except for the addition of the sneaky black point compensation without being told to do so.  Thoughts?
    Matt

    Before digging too far, I need to understand what you're trying to achieve.
    With the print settings you describe you are instructing the application to perform two conversions. The color chain is Document CMYK (FOGRA27) – Proof CMYK (ISO Uncoated) – Document CMYK (FOGRA27).
    This is a little odd. Usually the final color space is a print device of some sort, not a press profile. This workflow you describe is a round trip of sorts. We are at FOGRA, convert to ISO, now back to FOGRA. That amounts to simulating one press condition using another press condition, which is rarely done because a press in not a proof device.
    The Proof profile is the print condition you want to simulate. The Print profile is the device doing the simulation, which is often referred to as a proofing device (quite confusing but that's the way it is).
    Photoshop Proof Setup has a Rendering Intent and BPC. InDesign Proof Setup does not.
    In the Photoshop print dialog, there is a Simulate Black Ink option. The InDesign print dialog does not have this option.
    There are two conversions on output. In Photoshop output, the first conversion is Document – Proof. The rendering and BPC options for this first conversion are based on Photoshop color settings. The second conversion is Proof - Printer. The Photoshop print dialog offers 3 options for this 2nd conversion:
    1. Simulate Black Ink Off = Relative Colorimetric, Black Point Compensation On.
    2. Simulate Black Ink On = Relative Colorimetric, Black Point Compensation Off
    3. Paper Color On = Absolute Colorimetric
    Please note the application color settings do not affect this conversion, just the first.
    For the most accurate proof #3 is the best option. That is not saying that absolute colorimetric is ideal for file conversions. It is a rendering intent that is ideal for a proofing workflow, and the conversion to the print device (the 2nd conversion in the output you describe) is what is at the heart of the proofing workflow.

  • XML Publisher Bursting using different locale settings

    Hi,
    I have a report that shows numeric fields in different format mask if I select different template each time while submitting request. One template file's language is English and its territory is United States. Other template file's language is German and its territory is Germany. English template shows number like 1,500.94 ( "," comma as digit grouping symbol and "." period as decimal symbol) which is fine. German template shows 1.500,94 ( "." period as digit grouping symbol and "," comma as decimal symbol). So everything is great for me until I am using XML Bursting. Even if I specified german templates in bursting control file the output pdf file shows numeric character like English template. (e.g  1,500.94).
    Example of bursting control file
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <xapi:requestset xmlns:xapi="http://xmlns.oracle.com/oxp/xapi" type="bursting">
    <xapi:request select="/">
    <xapi:delivery>
    <xapi:filesystem id="file1" output="${DEST_PATH}.pdf"/>
    </xapi:delivery>
    <xapi:document output-type="pdf" delivery="file1">
    <xapi:template type="rtf" location="xdo://XXCO.XXCO_INVOICE.de.DE/?getSource=true" filter="" >    --->  It gives same output  with en.US
    </xapi:template>
    </xapi:document>
    </xapi:request>
    </xapi:requestset>
    Has anyone got any idea what is going on when bursting take care of generating PDF file again after the report is completed ?  Could you please help on this issue ? I will be grateful if I solve this problem. Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Ugur

    Hi,
    I have solved this issue by using <?xdoxslt:xdo-format-number, '999G990D00', 'da-DK')?> in every number fields instead of using different template file with danish language. Bursting also correctly shows number I wanted to be after this changes. So don't bother using different template file in order to show different digit grouping and decimal symbol. It's very simple this way except page total and carried forward totals. I choose number-separators=',.' option in xdofo:show-carry-forward tags.

  • Can I access the I Tunes Store on different computers using my settings?

    I see that I can't download apps etc. Unless I'm connected to a computer and wonder if I can use my settings and go on someone elses computer to download apps?

    Oh my. You need to start doing a little manual reading with your iPad. You download apps directly to your iPad by using the App Store app that comes with it. You need to sign into your iTunes store account (you need to be online, obviously). Sign in under "Account" at the bottom of the "Featured" screen. Any apps you've purchased elsewhere will be available for free download this way on your iPad as long as you purchased them using the same account you log into the store with here. And yes, the only way you can get applications onto your iPad is this way or by syncing to a computer where you bought them through iTunes.

  • How do I use different Layouts?

    I am trying to make a program that runs in a window like this:
    http://www.exyt-web.com/Window.gif
    The problem I'm having is with the layout.
    How do I have more than one layout ?
    For example - as you can see in the image (hyperlink above) I wish to have a border layout with a JFrame at the North position and then in the South position I want to have buttons laid out in a FlowLayout.
    Also with my radio buttons I want these in a GridLayout(3, 0) layout.
    I made up some example code to test using different layouts - but it seems one layout always overrides the other...
    import java.awt.*;
    import javax.swing.JFrame;
    import javax.swing.JLabel;
    public class LayoutTest extends JFrame
        public LayoutTest()
            setTitle("Hello World");
            Container contents = getContentPane();
            Container contents2 = getContentPane();
            contents.setLayout(new FlowLayout());
            contents.add(new JLabel("<FILTER [Type a th|    ]>"));
            contents.add(contents2);
            contents.add(new JLabel("< Filter Button >"));
            contents.add(new JLabel("<  Add Button   >"));
            contents2.setLayout(new GridLayout());
            contents2.add(new JLabel("< Button 1 >"));
            contents2.add(new JLabel("< Button 2 >"));
            contents2.add(new JLabel("< Button 3 >"));
            contents2.add(new JLabel("< Button 4 >"));
            setDefaultCloseOperation(EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
            pack();
        } // HelloWorld
        public static void main(String [] args)
            LayoutTest theLayoutTest = new LayoutTest();
            theLayoutTest.show();
        } // main
    } // class HelloWorldI know this obviously doesn't work but I hoped it would show what I was trying to do.
    I also tried creating a new 'contents2' and then adding it into 'contents'
    e.g. contents.add(contents2); My current code for the window I'm trying to create so far is:
    import java.awt.*;
    import javax.swing.*;
    public class Menus extends JFrame
        public static void Menus()
            // Creates a new JFrame, with the title specified in quotation marks.
            JFrame frame = new JFrame("Film Database");
            // Sets the default close operation of the frame.
            frame.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
            // Creates a new menu bar for the frame.
            JMenuBar menuBar = new JMenuBar();
            // Creates a new menu for the menu bar.
            JMenu menu = new JMenu("File");
            addFrameContents(frame, menuBar, menu);
            // Sets the new menu bar on the frame
            frame.setJMenuBar(menuBar);
            frame.pack();
            frame.setVisible(true);
        } // HelloWorld
        public static void addFrameContents(JFrame frame, JMenuBar menuBar, JMenu menu)
            // Adds the menu to the menu bar.
            menuBar.add(menu);
            // Creates a new item for the menu with a small icon.
            JMenuItem menuLoad = new JMenuItem("Load", new ImageIcon("C:/load.gif"));
            // Adds the new item to the menu.
            menu.add(menuLoad);
            JMenuItem menuSave = new JMenuItem("Save", new ImageIcon("C:/save.gif"));
            menu.add(menuSave);
            JMenuItem menuQuit = new JMenuItem("Quit", new ImageIcon("C:/quit.gif"));
            menu.add(menuQuit);
            // Creates a new container.
            Container contents = frame.getContentPane();
            // Sets a new layout for contents, in this case FlowLayout.
            contents.setLayout(new GridLayout(2, 0));
            // Adds new JLabels to the container.
            contents.add(new JLabel("< JLabel 1 >"));
            contents.add(new JLabel("< JLabel 2 >"));
            contents.add(new JLabel("< JLabel 3 >"));
            contents.add(new JLabel("< JLabel 4 >"));
            JLabel thisLabel = new JLabel("Hello");
            thisLabel.setLayout(new FlowLayout());
            JLabel thisLabel2 = new JLabel("Hello2");
            thisLabel2.setLayout(new FlowLayout());
            contents.add(thisLabel);
            contents.add(thisLabel2);
        public static void main(String [] args)
            Menus();
        } // main
    } // class HelloWorldAny help on how I can use two separate layouts in the same frame would be great!
    Regards,
    Tom

    doing this:
    Container contents = getContentPane();
    Container contents2 = getContentPane();
    does not create 2 different containers. It's just creating 2 variables that refer to the same container. There is only 1 content pane in a window/frame. A container can only have 1 layout.
    If you want to have 2 layouts, you create 2 panels with separate layouts and put what you want in each panel, and put both panels in the content page.

  • Use different iTunes and iCloud accounts only for backup

    Hello Everyone,
    Recently I update my iPhone 5,my wife iPhone 6 ,my wife iPad to iOS 8.3 and my MacBook Air to 10.10.3.
    As part of the upgrade i purchase more space on iCloud for backuping my photo library.
    I'm using the same account (iTunes and iCloud) on my Mac and my iPhone but using different one on my wife iPhone and iPad .
    is there any option to use my iCloud account on my wife iPhone and iPad just for backuping purpose.
    I saw that i can logged out from iCloud on her devices and logging in with my iCloud account but i'm affirmed to sync all of my personal data (contacts and so on) to her devices.
    please advice.
    Thanks,
    Marco.

    This sounds like misconfiguration issues.
    For Calendars, log into each of your accounts on iCloud.com. Check the Calenders app there to ensure each of your iCloud-based calendars are properly shared between your wife and you. Remember, when you invite another person to share your calendar, that other person must accept the invitation.
    For Contacts, make sure you have contacts in your account (check on your phone and on iCloud.com). On your phone, go under Settings/iCloud and make sure the toggle is on for Contacts. Again on your phone, go to Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Swipe down and make sure your default calendar is your iCloud-based calendar.
    Hope this provides some insights that lead to a solution for you.

    Welcome to the Apple community.
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add a new account by tapping the "create Apple ID" button. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
