Main iTunes screen: can't make any adjustments to select-deselect apps,etc
I'm helping a PC friend of mine. He has iPad 2, W7-fresh install, latest iTunes with iPad connected and viewing the contents on main iTunes screen, he can not make any adjustments to selecting apps (putting a check box next to app to include in next sync for ex.) He can not click on the mini ipad desktop screens for each page (along side the right side) to jump to different pages and rearrange icons. WEIRD! I've never seen this on the Mac side.
Almost seems like some type of permissions issue in windows...??? HELP ! ! !
solved it. He was working between 2 PCs and did not "Authorize" under AppleStore menu listing for this new PC.

I have one folder with several projects all of which Aperure can not find the original. I do not use referenced files. Have you checked inside your Aperture library, if the original files are still there?
Try to find out, when the images in those projects have been originally imported, then open the Aperture library by ctrl-clicking it and using the command "Show package contents" from the pop-up menu. In the window that will open, select the folder "Masters" and browse the contents. You need to find the subfolder with the year you imported the images, then the folders with the month and the day.
Are your original files still there?
If yes, copy them to a folder on your desktop for safe-keeping, and then try, if repairing the permissions and the other Furst Aid tools will help Aperture to connect to these missing files again - see this link: Repairing and Rebuilding Your Aperture Library: Aperture 3 User Manual
If the First Aid Tools don't help, then check, if Aperture has moved the missing images to a "recovered folder". If not, reimport the images, you saved to your Desktop and use the Lift&Stamp tool to transfer any adjustment and captions to your reimported images. -

ThanksNot sure what you mean, but maybe you can try right-clicking on the Tone Curve (or other panel) heading and then check the other panels you want visible. In other words, in the Develop module, right-click next to the words "Tone Curve." Is that what you are after?
Edit: Or.... try the Window Menu and then click Panels and make sure the right panel is showing.

I just bought a used Macbook Pro. How do I make the changes to make it personal. Example the iTunes comes up as the old user and I have to have his password to make changes on the laptop. Can you make any suggestions?
Also I cant make a right click on the pad. Is that normal?Your first going to have to remove all your personal data off the machine to a external storage drive, do not use TimeMachine when it asks as this will copy the entire drive and is unnecessary at this time (also takes too long).
You need to drag and drop copy your personal data folders (Music, Pictures, Movies etc) to a external storage drive, once done, unmount and disconnect this drive.

Next your going to follow the Zero Erase and install method for your OS X version, either 10.6 or 10.7, here
How to reinstall just OS X or erase/install OS X
10.7 requires your AppleID and password to install, so make sure to have that ready.
Once you reboot your into the real setup of OS X, which will require your name etc, so it's now your machine.
Install your programs, iLife package is only free for the owner of the machine.
If you have the 10.6 machine specific disks, then it's on there.
If your using 10.7, then you'll have to purchase it from the App Store.
Last, return your files from the storage drive, consider setting up a TimeMachine or clone on the external drive. -
After clicking on ''reset all'' on my iphone4,it has refused to come on. All i see is a prompt on the screen asking me to connect to iTunes. I cant make any calls or do an6ything with the phone. Anone with any advice?

I am trying to update my billing detail on my IPAD2. However it keep on saying that the country need at least 3 characters long. But the country field is a dropdown list with Malaysia's states all with 2 characters long only! I can't make any purchase now because I can't verify the billing detail because it just doesn't work! what you are telling i think is too much. I've read your requests and believe me some of them is out of context. One example is listening to radio while being on a call. Who would like to have such options?? It's ridiculous.
But But it doesn't mean all of them are ridiculous! Just like the #1 concerning music, #4 concerning the camera and #5 concerning the volume, I strongly agree with you as it makes sense!
So if I was to write to nokia, which I will do in the coming days is to write them again:
Points #1,4,5,9,11,14,15,24! These are strong points!
People out there, if you want the changes I specified to be done by nokia, you should write them the same points. If only one or two write, it's useless, they won't take it as a priority.
Of course, don't copy paste or they will think the same person is spamming them. I hope it's clear. Write in your own words. Don't think changes will be done by magic or by doing nothing with arms folded. You should do a move.
