Main partner for appointments

Hi everyone,
In appointments you have different parties involved. "Activity Partner", "Contact Person", "Attendee", "Owner" etc. You can select one from each partner function to be the main partner. We have an appointment report and in this report we get matches for each appointment that has been created and can see which account and contact person that has participated. The problem we have are when several contact persons have participated due to only one of them can be the main partner. Our report is based and get matches based on the main partner.
My question, is it possible to have several contact persons as main partners? At the moment I can only tick the box under "Main Partner" for one of the contact persons. If I try to tick the box for several contact persons the system allows me to save but will automatically update so only one contact person has been selected as main partner.
Really appreciate any help I can get!

Hi Hannes
I don't beleive this would be standard behaviour.
The primary purpose of having a Partner marked as "Main" would be to identify them as the "Main Partner".
You could check in the screen config to see if there are any fields would could be reused for this purpose. Otherwise you could use AET to add in a custom field to meet your requirements.
You'd probably then need some additional custom enhancements to provide the additional "Main" partner processing you desire.

Sorry about the maybe stupid question but:
We have on our installed bases component a field with partner assignment. In here we have preferred engineers there normaly should be only one on the installed base, but now we face that there are more then one preferred enigneer is there.
then that shouldn't be a problem if the right preferred engineer has the main partner function. the system gets this from table: COM_DYNP_PARTNER_UI and the organization model.
but it assigns the wrong preferred engineer as main partner.
Anyone has an idea what I could do?

Open the Business partner in Role Employee (Tx. - BP).
Goto the Identification tab.
Specify a Username for the user.

Main Partner Activity (Task / Appointment) Sync - Client GWI

Hi,
the following describes the situation:
An Appointment with 2 contact partners assign. One of the partners is assigned as the main partner.
When synchronizing with Outlook, the Business Partner with the lowest Partner-Number gets sent to Outlook - and not the main Partner.
How can we ensure that the main Partner in the CRM Appointment always gets sent to Outlook instead of any of the other Partners?

Problem solved, one of two solutions are available:
1 - Customizing: Set a maximum of 1 Partner to Partner Function that syncs with Outlook. Additional Partner functions can be used for further required partner.
2 - Development: Implicit Enhancement in the GWI-Sync Method, checking for the main partner flag

Setting main partner of a support desk message

Hi all,
In my support desk message crn_dno_monitor, i have added more than one message processor (in partner functions). My requirement is to activate (set as main partner) one of this partners from the portal (using BAPI). Anyone knows the FM to do the same ?.

I don't really understand what you mean by

When I look in SMSYmy Solution contains all of my logical components, all of the logical components are "active". The Product systems are defined as expected & I cannot see any difference between the ones which appear in the list and those that don't. I cannot see the "put in solution" status you mentioned - is this for the solution, the logical component or the product system?

Action reference in the MAIN view for other Views

Hi Experts,
I have created a view(MAIN) that contains SUBMIT button and also included four other views(Using ViewContainerUIElement) in the MAIN view itslef. So am calling the respective view based on some certain condition from MAIN view.
Now my problem is, am using check_mandatory_attr_on_view() method which is being called on SUBMIT action from MAIN view of WDDOBEFOREACTION. But it is not checking Required Fields from other views. It checks the Required Fields only in the MAIN view.
I know that I want to call the reference of other views in MAIN view, but how can I do it?
Please help me, as how I can check the Required fields on action of SUBMIT button in MAIN view for other views.

Though am in MAIN view, If i clicks the submit button it checks the Required fields on both MAIN and Sub views, where still I have not called the Sub view.
If you didn't call the sub view, the WDDOINIT method of your sub view wouldn't have been triggered and so the sub view reference is not set in the component controller, isn't it.?
OR you are calling sub view separately in the initial state and get the reference and then in your MAIN view calling the sub view based on condition in the View Container UI..?
If so, create an attribute in your Main view (say sub_view_name of type string) and then use the below code to get the current sub view name and then pass the corresponding sub view reference:

HT2731 How do I make a new pc my main pc for itunes without losing all of my current stuff?

I originally created my itunes account on a Mac that I have sold. I want to make the new pc I have the main computer for my itunes account. When I try and sync, it tells me that I am going to lose all of my current music, apps, etc. Is there a way to do this so that I dont lose all of my information?

The alternative is to sync from whichever computer you wish, but that means the current data on the device will be removed and replaced with whatever is in that computer's library and it then becomes the new "home" computer for the device. If you migrate the library properly the new computer is seen as "home" so only changes need to be synced and you don't lose content, playlists, ratings, etc.

Using my iMac as a main display for a MacBook

I'm thinking about getting myself a MacBook Pro to replace my iMac, which I got in 2008.
My question is, would it be possible to keep my current iMac and connect a MacBook to it, so that the screen of the iMac can be used as a main display for the MacBook?

Hi and welcome to Discussions,
only the latest 27" iMacs have a video-in port.
All iMacs prior the these, as your own iMac, only have a video-out port and therefor cannot be used for what you have in mind.
However you might wanna have a look at ScreenRecycler http://www.screenrecycler.com/ScreenRecycler.html which, depending on your useage, may be sufficient.

Where can I get hold of a replacement mains cable for a Mac Book?

It looks like we have somehow misplaced the mains cable for my Dad's MacBook. The big question where could I get hold of a replacement one ? I have looked on Apple's website but unless I am either blind or daft I can't see one. The only thing I can think of of is to drive to my nearest Apple store (some 60 miles away) which I don't want to if I can help it. Any ideas?

Why don't I have the same options in my calendar for appointments iCloud/iPad

Why don't I have the same opoisions in my calendar for appointments? Online in iCloud calendar there are options to pick from for days of the week and how many weeks to set an appointment. Why can't I do this on my iPhone or iPad? Am I missing a setting to be able to do this? I make most of my apointments away from my desk and would like to send a invitation at that time.

Restart iPhone: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart (no data will be lost).

I can modify the Trading Partner for Posting Key 40 and 50 but I cannot find field in the More Data Button.

Check whether the document type you are using to post is allowed to enter the trading partner.
To check use the TCODe OBA7 and select the relevent document type. then select the check box enter trading partner under control data.
and also check the customer you assigned for that posting key 01 is got assigned trading partner in the master record or not(TCOD XD02/XD03).

Is there a Ship To Partner for Subcontract POs?

I have a vendor with multiple "repair centers" around the world. I send repairs to the various vendor locations depending on the type of repair.
I want to use the same VN (vendor) partner for all of the repair locations. However, the problem is that the delivery document that is created for the warehouse seems to only use the "customer address" associated to VN partner. This does not work since there are actually multiple addresses that the repair could be sent to.
Here are the options so far:
1. Create different vendor codes for each "repair center". This does not allow me to use one VN partner thus multiplying my master data.
2. Overwrite the delivery address on the delivery document itself. This could be an issue with timing due to the fact that we use the SAP warehouse module and they will instantly see the delivery as created.
3. Create a custom user exit to overwrite the delivery address on the delivery document for specific repair centers (perhaps based on a custom partner that the user applies to the PO header).
Does anybody have any other suggestions such as using other partners on the PO header?

I've had a similar requirement. The ship-to is determined by the corresponding customer master. If you have multiple ship-to's for a customer and you create an order in SD, a popup comes up and asks you to choose a ship-to. In ME2o this does not happen. If you mark a specific ship-to as default, it will always pick up this one up but you're not going to change the default each time.
I would go for a BADI or exit, which allows you to choose between the different ship-to's (just as in SD).

Sorry. We can't help you. It's no longer an iPhone. Apple won't touch it.
Take it to whoever replaced the screen and see if they can help you.
iPhones are not user servicable and Apple does not sell iPhone parts at all. I'd be surprised if you were actually able to back it up at this point. It sounds like it's completely borked.

How do I make a main menu for a game?

I need to make a main menu for this tower defense game that I am making. I have 2 parts to the menu that I need to put together. I have it as follows:
I have a start screen where the player presses the start button. I now need it to take the user to the main menu itself. I have both the start menu and main menu in the same document but on different layers. I have a button labeled as start which I have set up to where when it is clicked, it changes colors but I also need it to hide/show the menu layer. I just need the that start button to take users to the menu layer where I have 3 more buttons which are resume, new, and options. I will need those buttons to go to their different layers also. After users hit the resume or new buttons, I need the game itself to start which I will start making after I figure out the other issues.
I am new to Flash and I really want to learn how to make tower defense games. For now, I am using http://www.ehow.com/how_7788131_make-tower-defense-game-flash.html as a guide to make the game stuff but it doesn't say anything about a main menu. I am using a trial version of Flash Pro CS6 and it is due to expire in 28 days.

Apparently it wont let me use the same code twice on one timeline. Is there any way around this? I need a few more buttons on the main menu for the game.
