Main window has gone!
I had iDVD 4 - one day I opened the programme but had no window. The bar at the top with file etc was there but nothing else. It wouldn't even open any old files.
I decided to upgrade to ilfe 05. Installed software and a) Prroblem installing if installing old themes - so I installed without b) iDVD 5 now installed and - SAME PROBLEM as before - NO WINDOW!!!!!

Sorry to verify again, but did you locate the iDVD.pkg in the receipts folder, and moved that away to reinstall iDVD? if so then I guess you'r not far away from reinstalling. You can use the "Archive and install" procedure, to keep your system/account and password/email settings etc. as they were. It might occur that for some of the (third) party software you need to re-enter the softwarekey's.
Before taking this step I would advise to look at the Mac OSX-download page for the combo installer of 10.3.9. (that's the system you are running right ?), and run this installer. If that doesn't solve the problem an archive and install procedure from your original disks is probably the way to go.
In your case before doing so I would make sure to verify the condition of your sytemdisk. Run from the install disk the disk utility, (so don't install OSX yet. for the procedure check your manual). If your disk is ok you can run the archive and install procedure.
It is wise to backup all your data to your second drive including your extra applications. You cannot simply copy your system though . You can use a utillity called "carbon copy cloner", look at versiontracker) free/shareware. Check after using this, if your system will boot from your second harddisk (it's internally I suppose if not it might not work). If that's ok you will have a full working back-up of your present system.

I have pre-installed on my Toshiba Portege R700 AuthenTec Truesuite version 3.0.1.149. After couple of days of good performance the font from the main window has changed becoming impossible to read. Probably I change some settings in Windows and also this font changed because for sure I did not change anything in your application. Having in mind that my OS is Windows XP Professional, SP3, pelse be so kind and help me with a solution to revert to standard fonts.

I assume you are speaking about the fonts in the Internet Explorer window.
Right?
Please check the option View in the menubar. Zoom should be set to 100% and Textsize should be set to medium.
Furthermore you can check the settings in control panel -> display -> Appearance tab
There you will find option called Font size. In my case its set to Normal.
Try it out. -
Safari extensions window has gone blank
Hey everyone!
My safari extensions window has gone blank. I have a MacBook Pro running 10.7.4, and I recently downloaded some extensions from the Apple Site.
I've trashed the Library/Safari/Extensions plist folder and re-booted but this has not helped. I can install them but not manage them through the preferences > extensions window. Any advice appreciated.Have you done disk repair ? Oopen disk utility select the HD then (after turning off all other programs) run Verify Disk, then repair permissions.
I was told when I got my first computer that before installing new, and after installing new software, repair disk permnissions.

Ok - strange occurence. I was creating subclips from a clip file when I think my finger hit a button and suddenly the viewer window went white. When I hit the play button or space bar the clip image appeared and plays fine. But when I hit pause the viewer window goes white again. When double clicking on another clip the screen still appears white until I hit play. Not sure what I did, but would love to get back to normal mode. I would really appreciate any ideas or insight.

Have been using logic express 8 for a wee while, but i've done something I don't know how to undo - or the computer has.
I have been working on a track for my composition assignment, and now the main window has dissapeared... just on that song... other songs open fine....
maybe I just spent too long fluffing around on the track and it's gone kabudle... I'm growing to hate the track I have listened to it so much - perhaps the computer is reading my mind, and doesn't want to see that track any more! lol

As far as the processing of the window contents is concerned, the system currently treats constant and variable windows alike.

1 Main Win 00 : Invoiced Item Lines for the Check Payment
2 Check Window: A Check to be printed
3 Main Win 01 : Copy of Main Win 00
The Main Window has Line Items of the Payment Invoices for Vendor, which can flow across multiple pages.So I cannot use NEW-WINDOW. I cannot make the changes in SAP Program. Please help me sorting out this issue with some small PERFORM Code which will copy contents of current main window and print it back in new window on the same page.

I need to create a smartform with the following behaviour:
When the page shown is the last one, the main window has to take half page. On the other hand, when the page shown is not the last one, its main window has to take almost the whole page (I need a bigger main window).
When only exists one page, the first page is also the last one.

Its Possible, as I feel.
Just need to design 2 pages.
PAGE1: Keep the header and item part as you want to.
PAGE2: copy the MAIN WINDOW of PAGE1 to PAGE2.
Increase the size of the MAIN WINDOW in page2 .This is the flexibility that smartform gives and
we don't get this main window resizing facility in SAPscript it remain same in first and second
page.
Navigate to : loop->table->footer.
Create folder and under folder create window to display your footer details.
And please unckeck the check box "On page break" in the footer condition tab.
Hope the discussion was helpful. Revert back in case of any further issues.

I am working on sapscript. MAIN window has two elements ( Order Info, Carrier Info. ) First page display only 1 - 10 records for each element in Main Window.
( In my scenario, it's possbile the either one of the element may have more then 10 record but 11th record should print in that section of Next Page )
Next page should display starting with record 11 on subsequent elements. How can i accomplish this scenario.

in driver program, count the sy-tabix if it reaches '11', then call the FM 'CONTROL_FORM' and in the command give 'NEW-PAGE' and then call the WRITE_FORM of 2nd element.
write code like below in ur driver program.
eg:

Windows are defined in the Layout sets which define the position and the text to displayed.
The different types of windows are:
MAIN - Main Window
The main window is a continous window which can extend over several pages. If the text in the main window fills up a page, a new page is created.
Only one main window can be defined in the SAP Script whereas upto 100 instances of main window can be created in a page.
VAR - Variable Window
This window can have the variable contents displayed on them. The contents of the window cannot exceed the window size. The content can be formatted for each page.

In most theory it is written a SAP Script can only use 1 main window, If thats the case why is it still possible to create more than 1 of them.

Smartform doesn't show preview when the records exceed the main window size

When i print the smart form having line items exceeding the main window size on the page it does not show the preview. The internal table loop goes into infinite loop. Is there any means whereby if the records don't fit on the main window of the page will be continued to the next page. Right now I have no clue how it is to be resolved. I feel the problem is in layout, as when i remove the main window the internal table code works fine and it does not move in infinite loop. Please help me resolve this issue.

I have deleted the table from main window and instead inserted a loop.
Also i created the two pages. But the problem still persists.
But for my requirement my each line item in the main window has 3 lines.
Also my layout will be the same for all pages so is there a need to create a new page.
Is there any mechanism whereby if the line items dont fit on the mainwindow of the page will automatically continue on another page without having to define it.. please guide? Right now the smartform goes in infinite loop if it doesn't fit in main window size
