Mainmenu 1.7, does it run and work properly under OS 10.6?

Does anybody know this? I do not want to pay the money for the upgrade and I do use it to run weekly and monthly tasks. I also have users in my network that would not be able to do that from the command line, so hence the utility.
If it does not run under 10.6, does anybody know of something else that works as good under 10.6?

It's very simple. If you don't want to pay for it, you can't use it. End of story. MainMenu is money well spent. I'm not a rich person but even I can afford £15.
Think of it as an investment. You can pay £15 now for each computer, or a great deal more if those computers don't get the regular maintenance they need.
Or maybe you can go to the people at Main Menu and ask them for a special deal. The problem is that the original Main Menu was bought up by some people in Austria, and they started charging for it.
There are other alternatives, lots of them. Just try going to Version Tracker and searching under "maintenance utilities".

sounds more like Bluetooth rather than moue, but w/o knowing w/o posting mac model type/year we... will... not... know... what you have
All computers are personal computers, a PC though is also "non-Apple" in common usage.
Mac also is platform and OS.

Do non-US english keyboards work properly under ios7 on an ipad4?

Does anyone know if non-american english bluetooth keyboards work properly under ios7 on the iPad 4?
I figure that the results will probably be similar to an iPhone 5s running iOS 7 which is one of a couple reasons why I still have ios6 on my iPad (in addition to iOS 6 just looking far better.)
I have iOS 7.1.2 on my iPhone 5s and also tried typing with it in a few other 7.0.x iOS installs, but for the non-apple apps the keyboard keys I press simply put the key for what would be there on the US keyboard except for keys with no US keyboard counterpart. The keys with no US keyboard counterpart (such as the _ (underscore) key) do absolutely nothing at all.
Does anyone know if somehow this is specific to the iPhone 5s or if this is just inherent to ios7?
As I said, the apple apps seem to work fine. I checked messages, notes, reminders, and spotlight those recognize my keyboard.
Evernote also seems to recognize it.
Facebook, twitter, tumblr, and google+ do not recognize the keyboard (and this is an official apple bluetooth keyboard that has worked perfectly fine with my iPhone 4, 4s, and still works with my iPad 4 (all running ios5 or ios6)).
Does anyone know of any setting that was introduced in ios7 that might fix this or is this just apple screwing up the bluetooth keyboard api and not letting other developers know how to get correct keystrokes from a bluetooth keyboard?
I'd love to be able to FaceTime on my iPad again, but if I'm going to have to put up with an os that I find visually unappealing, I'd at least hope that it could get the right keystrokes to apps (or at least make obvious how to do so).

TB display devices don't work properly under windows

I went out and picked up a TB display last night to pair with my 2011 mbp. I live in windows about 80% of the time and expected there to be no issues with the basic usb hub built into the display – unfortunately that does not seem to be the case. My Apple usb keyboard (also brand new) and dell usb mouse both hang/freeze/work erratically when connected to the back of the display, as does my Jabra pro headset.
I can make the behavior 10 times worse simply by using hardware built into the display, such as the display's facetime camera. If I fire up Lync and start a video chat, my keyboard and mouse become nearly unusable. My basic testing under Lion appears to confirm this is an issue with Apple’s boot camp drivers as things work properly under OS X. Problem occurs both with win7 and win2008r2, I have rebuilt both OSes twice to confirm.
The firmware/drivers of the display itself appear to be the problem. The peripherals work fine plugged directly into the laptop. Thunderbolt itself appears to be the root of the issue, as the facetime camera exhibits the same pauses/lags even with no peripherals plugged into the display (unless the facetime cam is a usb device and not a pci-e device, in which case perhasp the usb implementation is to blame). Hope there will be a firmware/driver fix soon.

I have marked this as answered as it was more a post to help others who may have experienced the same problem I did and didn't get a reply or just didn't know that this program could be the reason their Windows Mail has issues that can't seem to be resolved any other way apart from ignore them and hope they don't get worse.

? I guess Creative doesn't care about living up to the promise that their product is upgradeable as new technologies emerge such as VISTA. They were give plenty of warning, that it was coming out, and it has been out for some time. I guess the $700AUS I spent is down the tubes, because the lazy people at creative cannot be bothered to bring it into compatibility - AS PROMISED with "peace of mind" they said. There is no way that I will acti'vely tell people how good creative is any more. In fact I will be acti've in just the opposite.

My Facebook does not run properly since upgrading to yosemite, some sections i can't get in and you see the waiting clock then safari says it can't find it, not all photos load properly, also keep on getting you need to load java runtime overtime I log on even though it has verified it.

But now I have to work on AIX server I need to know
* Is there any difference to work on ODI while I am using AIX
plz provide me necessary information..
* Will working methodology of Desiner and Topology manager be same in AIX
* is it console based or I'll have the same UI I've not worked on AIX before
*Any other info, if you tech people have regarding basic differences between
Window installed ODI and AIX installed ODI then plz provide me.

Hello,
There should be no difference in behavior.
- All Graphical UIs are in Java and work the same on AIX.
- The installer works also on AIX.
- The only differences will be that instead of having .bat script files, you'll have .sh (unix shell) files to start the components, and that you cannot use windows services.
Just give it a try, and you'll see.

The NI-Motion does not run a simulation Properly

I have a small problem I recently installed NI-Motion on my computer ton control 1-axis stepper motor. When I run a small program built in NI-Motion Assistant it does not work properly. Even if I set my velocity to 500 step/sec it goes to 10000 step/sec and spin indifinitively. Do you know how I can solve my problem.

Thanks for attaching your MAX configuration and for the results of your testing. Everything seems fine with your setup in MAX from what I can see, so I decided to set up a test here. I was able to run the first tutorial (titled Heating a Semiconductor Wafer in a Furnace) without any problems here with a PCI-7344 Motion Controller, MID-7602 drive, and NI Motion Assistant 2.2.
Perhaps we can do some more troubleshooting in Motion Assistant:
What step exactly did your script get stuck on? If we know the expected behavior, then we can troubleshoot the actual behavior a bit better. For example:
Did your script make it past the reference move? If not, the continuous spinning makes it sound like it's just not finding the limit switch(s) it needs to move on to the next step.
But if it did make it to the straight line move, and just kept going past the position that you set, then something else is going wrong. You can check this by making sure you know the position setting and the mode (absolute or relative), and then looking at the Step Status tab during a move to see the Current position and velocity readouts. I would recommend using absolute position mode for your testing.
Did you set the velocity under the Move Constraints tab for all the different steps? I initially set just the first straight line move velocity and not the velocity on the reference move. After changing the velocity, click outside the tab (perhaps in the blank space under the add step button) and then go back and make sure Motion Assistant saved the value you set for the velocity. You should see a little dialog box flash momentarily, but really too quick to read, indicating that the script has been updated.
Does your motor move at the correct commanded velocity for a script that you create from scratch with just one move? Can you complete other types of moves than the one the script gets stuck on with the motor spinning indefinitely?

Flash Player will not upgrade/install and work properly

I have been being promted to download the Flash Player on numerous websites before the application or game will actually play.
Each and every time I go through their link to upgrade to the correct version of Flash, it upgrades and installs properly, but when I re-launch the program I was trying to use I ge the SAME MESSAGE to download Flash Player again, and of course it still does not work.
Is this because I am using their free version of Flash Player and actually need to purchase another version to get these very small applications to run.

Quicktime 7 does not seem to work properly on my system

I have juste tried installing the latest Quicktime version on my system (Asus G71Gx, CPU Intel Core2 Quad Q9000 @2GHz, RAM 6 GB, Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bits with SP2), but it never worked properly:

Among the various errors I got trying to access QuickTime content in my browser, I received the "Failed to initialize" message, which apparently other people encountered... Though, the problem descriptions I have read so far in the corresponding threads do not seem to match my case.
Has anyone got the same errors I received outside of the browser (see previous message)?

Does Acrobat X (Pro) work properly in OS 10.9 Mavericks?

Does anyone know if Acrobat X (Pro) works properly in 10.9 Mavericks? Acrobat 9 Pro does not work all that smoothly, and has the sidebar issue. I am thinking of upgrading the whole Creative Suite from CS5 to CS6, but it doesn't make sense if I will still have issues with Acrobat. Thanks!

Acrobat XI is NOT compatible with the latest version of Mavericks! I have had an ongoing case with Adobe about my Pro XI crashing/freezing when I try to do editing on a PDF (Find/Replace). They finally called me and told me there is a compatibility issue and they have NO solution at this time. It took many hours on chat and phone with Adobe to come to finally get someone who knew what they were talking about (Support at Adobe is very time consuming....long long waits, very very irratatiing)

Not sure what 'goes crazy' means but it most likely should not do that. Try a reset... press the home and sleep/lock buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
Also try it plugged into another outlet (on another circuit) and/or try another charger.
