Mainstage 2 Concert won't open, stuck on EXS

My concert I've used forever suddenly won't open. Hangs on loading EXS.
What has Apple done to **** up Mainstage 2 so horribly???
CPU usage way worse, less stable, less reliable.
It's a joke, and not a funny one.
Logic upgrade was a HUGE waste of money, for me anyway. Any ideas on getting my concert to open, that I need for a show tomorrow night?

So, basically I had renamed a folder containing a Samples folder, and EXS couldn't find the samples. Don't you think it should throw up an error instead of just hanging? I fixed it by opening my EXS file in text wrangler and doing a search and replace to fix all the references. Moving and renaming things happens sometimes without thought for the consequences - I feel sorry for people who just trashed their logic or mainstage project because they thought it was corrupt.

If you are wondering why you are not getting any responses, it is because you have vented a complaint without any details that make any sense or give anyone something to work on.
If you want help, I suggest actually detailing what has happened, with versions of software etc. Anything that would let us assist.
As a start I am guessing that you have not really got the hang of "How it all works". Firstly download the Pages09_UserGuide.pdf from under the Help menu. Read that and view the Video Tutorials in the same place. A good addition would be the iWork 09 Missing manual book and something to help you learn how to use your Mac.

I just upgraded to lion but mainstage won't open

just upgraded from snow leopard 10.6.8 to lion 10.7.3 yesterday. logic 9.1.6 works fine but mainstage won't open. it stops at the "initializing graphics" stage and goes no further. i also note that the icon idicates it is version 2.0.0 which i thought was an earlier version but i'm not sure. could lion have transformed mainstage back to an earlier version and not done the same to logic? how weird!!
any recommendations?

Contact this address below and request a new download, and that the one you have does not open or it crash whe doing so.
They open up my account and allowed me to reinstall.
My redowndloaded Mainstage is now working on my MacB Pro, and four [4] externals, with out any problems.

try starting a new project and importing your project using the media browser. if that doesn't work just import the sequences from the project via media browser.

Yu have to run the library upgrader - it is in your applications folder in the utilities folder - double click on it to exceute it - then launch iPhoto after running the library upgrader

Laptop lid stuck, won't open

Hi there,
My 17 inch (dv7-6151sd) won't open anymore after I closed it.
The lid is stuck on one side and when opening it's putting a lot of tension on the screen.
The picture shows what happens at the side which is stuck when opening the laptop.
Does anybody know how I can try to solve this VERY annoying problem.

did you already reset your phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes up again? If this does not help, try to connect in recovery mode, shown here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808 , and restore.

I have a one group of tabs stuck in the taskbar, it won't open.

I had 2 groups of tabs. One group opens & works, but the other is stuck in the taskbar. i can click it, or right click & then Restore, but the window containing that group of tabs won't open. The other group works fine. I have exited Firefox, then restarted Firefox (15.0.1) same thing, there in the taskbar, but won't open. Also restarted Window Vista, then Firefox to no avail. Any ideas?

Well I'll be, I right clicked the group on the taskbar& then hit maximize, which worked. I've been using group tabs for awhile, never had to do that before.

Hello, I sure hope someone can help me. My itunes music has ALL disappeared....and when I tried to replace it {I guess it's known as import it from my CD} it seemed to remain forever on 0.02 and would not move on to the other song....I became frustrated....and ejected the CD....and got a pop up window telling me pretty much that this was a no-no....anyway...I clicked on my itune icon to open it up and start with another CD to import music....well now my icon won't open and everytime I click on it to open I get a pop up window from Apple...asking if it is ok to make changes....I click yes...and nothing happens....I also tried to see the compalibility and it is now telling me it is not combatiable......well it was yesterday and the day before...and even a few minutes ago...when I was able to open it once....What does this mean? I just had my computer cleaned out.....could it have been something they did? Do I have to uninstall it and reinstall it?? Also when I first opened itunes....I got a pop up window saying something to the effect...that I had 2 itunes and was only allowed 1....and did I wish to transfer my purchases....and I can't remember what else it said....I chose transfer....and those were the only songs I could find on my itunes before it wouldn't let me open it again.....Can someone help PLEASE.....newbie here

You can't activate any GSM iPhone without a valid sim card installed in the phone.

Firefox won't open when I click on the icon. I've tried uninstalling so that I can reinstall, but it says I have to close firefox (which isn't open), so I'm stuck.

The problem: Firefox won't open when I click on the program.
Solutions tried: #1) I tried to uninstall the program so that I can download it again, but the screen shows the message "firefox must be clsoed.. to proceed with installation". However, firefox is not open.
#2) I tried to download firefox, thinking that possibly it would update and solve the problem. However, I get the same error message that "firefox must be clsoed.. to proceed with installation" Problem is that firefox is not open.
I've done a screen shot, so you can see that I do not have the firefox browser open.

Thanks for the reply. I tried repairing the permissions (as well as several other things like deleting the Finder preferences file), but no dice.
Given that the problem cropped up right after updating OS X on two separate machines, it's looking to me like it's just a bug that needs squashing at this point.
