MainStage 3 graphic process failure

Ok so I got this really weard issue since I got MainStage.
There is a failure in the graphics, and no other seems to have the same issue.
I tried restarting MainStage and tried using a new concert but it doesn't work.
I would be happy if any of you could give me solusions. And the file is in Japanese but there is nothing to worry about.

I have the same Mac mini specs as plot-the-dot; and I am experiencing the same problem. After purchasing and downloading all the extra content I started using it. Everything seemed to work fine until I tried to tab to Perform or Layout. The whole screen started flashing with scrambled pixel clumps. Quitting the program and relaunching clears it up until I try tabbing to the other functions again.
Please Apple, take care of this problem.
mac mini 2.7 Ghz Intel Core i7 8GB 1333 MHz DDR3
with a:
AMD Radeon HD 6630M 256MB.
I tried going out to my Apple Cinema 23" monitor via the HDMI port (HDMI to DVI adapter); and with the mini display Thunderbolt port (Thunderbolt to DVI adapter), and neither worked. I still did the same scrambled glitching of the interface display.

  • Mac Pro won't boot, kernel panic at boot, graphics card failure.

Yesterday my screen (30" Apple Cinema) started showing symptoms of graphics card failure, jagged lines across the screen. I rebooted my Mac Pro and it was gone. Then it happened again an hour later, this time the machine didn't boot, I get the Apple logo, and then it hangs up and the screen is shifted to left (I get apple logo on left side of the monitor instead of the middle) and jagged lines all over.
So the first thing I tested was using Target Disk Mode, it works. I can access my Mac Pro's internal HD's by TDM from my MacBook Pro. Then I tested single user mode, it does boot, I can't read what's written since the screen is shifted to left, but if I type (without seeing) reboot and hit enter, it reboots. So I assume the single user mode is working.
What else can I try to 100% make sure it's my graphics card that failed and everything else is ok with Mac Pro? I already ordered a graphics card replacement but I wouldn't like to be surprised if the Mac Pro still doesn't boot when the card arrives.

    HI,
*but I wouldn't like to be surprised if the Mac Pro still doesn't boot when the card arrives.*
If you haven't done so, boot from your install disk and run the Apple Hardware Test.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2684
Also, you can boot from your install disk and check the startup disk for errors that might need repairing.
Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
*(Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel. It should say: Verified)*
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
When you are finished with DU, from the Menu Bar, select Utilities/Startup Manager.
Select your start up disk and click Restart
While you have the Disk Utility window open, look at the bottom of the window. Where you see Capacity and Available. *Make sure there is always 10% to 15% free disk space*
If you cannot boot from your install disk, try booting in Safe Mode

  • Process Failure when communicating over MODBUS using LabVIEW 2011 and DSC

I'm currently trying to read from a PLC's holding registers using MODBUS/TCP. I've confirmed that the PLC is updating the values and responding to MODBUS communication correctly using a third party program called Modbus Poll. However, when I try to poll the PLC using LabVIEW's shared variable engine, I am unable to read any values from the same addresses that I'm viewing with Modbus Poll.
My setup simply consists of a PC connected directly to the PLC over Ethernet, with no router in between. I am using LabVIEW 2011 SP1 with the DSC module.
I opened the NI Distributed Systems Manager to view the status of all shared variables in the Modbus library that I created and I've noticed that the CommFail bit is permanently set to "true". All other variables with a "read" access mode report "Process Failure". I've tried restarting the process as well as stopping and starting the local variable engine with no success. I've also restarted my computer several times to see if any services were failing, but this does not seem to have fixed the problem.
I finally resorted to monitoring communications over the network card that I have the PLC plugged into via Ethernet using Wireshark and I've found that while Modbus Poll is communicating with the PLC, many MODBUS and TCP packets are sent and received. However, when solely using LabVIEW or the NI DSM to communicate with the PLC, there does not appear to be any communication over the network card.
Something that may be worth noting is that I was able to communicate with the PLC and read values from it with the DSM on just one occasion, when I first figured out which addresses I should be reading from. It all stopped working shortly thereafter. Prior to this, "CommFail" was not usually set to "true" with my current configuration. Thinking that it was my firewall, I have since turned my firewall off, but this seems to have had no effect on the problem either.
Any help on this matter would be appreciated.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Just a thought but I think the  register addresses used by LabVIEW are one off of the actual register #.  I was using a CRIO as a modbus IO Server and had to shift the register addresses by 1 to get things to work correctly (can;t recall if it was +1 or -1).  This is documented somewhere on ni.com but can;t seem to find it now.  But here is another  link that may help:

  • Macbook pro Graphic card failure

I have a Macbook pro 15 inch MB 134 model. I had the classical black screen problem which i taught that it was the NVidia graphic card failure after reading the symptoms on apple support page. However, as usual, the apple authorised service center denied the reason of graphic card and told me that it is a mother board failure and i have to replace the board with a cost of 700 $. It was unbelievable. I went to a computer repair shop who immediately told me that it is due to graphic card failure and he can fix it. Again i spoke to apple and they denied again telling that the shop is not telling the truth. They were able to fix for a reasonable price and told this can happen again in the future and apple is responsible they should replace the board for free of coast. Now my computer is working but same syptoms started recently. It was a huge dissappointment . Such a big company should recall all the models affected whether there is a problem or not. Now i am planning to buy another mac and this keeps me holding and i doubt if something like that can happen in the future again.
If anybody authorised in Apple is reading this post: Please recall all the models produced that year and replace for free. This way you can regain your reputation!!

    Saber,
This is just a user-to-user forum - no one from Apple here. Sorry to hear about your problems - there have been some issues with some graphic cards in some models of the MacBook Pro and Apple has replaced logic boards for up to four years after date of purchase. I'm not sure if your's was one of those models - you don't specify the date of your model - but it may be worth checking out.
All computers are going to fail out some point and Apple's are no exception. Sometimes they last for a decade, sometimes they're bad right out of the box. In your case Apple was right - the only sure fix for your computer was a logic board replacement, as the 'fix' you had at the other repair shop didn't stand.
Rather than have the logic board replaced now, I would just invest in a new computer, PC or Mac - depends on what you want. The reliability of a good PC is the same as a Mac.
Sorry to hear of your problems...

  • Soap fault: SOAP processing failure, error id = 1018

    Hello,

I have no answer find in the forum.
    Any ideas?
    regards

does the connection test work in SM59??
I think you got to involve a basis guy. unless I can't see your proxy settings, your dev_traces and so on I can#t diagnose your problem correctly.
the unallowed XML-Tag error could arise in the following situation:
you call a service, but your proxy doesn't forward the request due to authentication or other problems and returns you something like
<html><body><h1>A proxy error occured. Call your admin.</h1></body></html>
this is because the proxy assumes you use a browser and therefore returns a 'nicely formatted answer'(i.e. one in HTML, which you could easily understand if you used a browser).
If its not the proxy your webserver could return for instance a 401-Forbidden, which also often comes nicely formatted to be rendered with a browser.
Your proxy runtime on the other side expects no other answer than one starting with
    <xml ... > ....
    since yours starts with
    <html>...
    it says 'unnallowed XML tag'.
This way there can be numerous errors and I can only advice you to use all debugging tools available and inspect the communication carefully.

    Hello All,
As per the Doc ID 414043.1 it is possible to use mixed word size primary-standby configurations since 10g and better in 11g.

Standby-  TEST64 on 64bit Oracle Home

Just out of curiosity, whats the machine configuration?

  • RemoteFX - None of the physical graphics processing units (GPUs) on this computer support RemoteFX.

I've been searching for some days straight to fix this issue but no success so far, I've already saw in other forums and topics here in TechNet with people facing the same issue. Here is the scenario:
    Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard
All Windows Updates available until today installed
    i7-2600K CPU
NVidia GTX 480 card with the latest driver installed from the manufacturer's site
    Remote Desktop Virtualization Host installed
Right after I've installed the graphics driver I opened the Hyper-V Manager Console, right click on my server name, hit properties and selected the Physical GPUs then it was listing my GPU so I thought it was everything fine went to the VM property to add the
RemoteFX Adapter but it was greyed out, tried with the Powershell commands and no success so I rebooted the server and now in the properties of Hyper-V it says "None of the physical graphics processing units (GPUs) on this computer support RemoteFX. Use
of a RemoteFX 3D video adapter requires at least one physical GPU that supports RemoteFX.
From what I've searched it seems like a driver problem but already tried the latest from Nvidia website and some from Windows Update Catalog website.

    Hi Rodrigo,
"I rebooted the server and now in the properties of Hyper-V it says "None of the physical graphics processing units (GPUs) on this computer support RemoteFX. "
For troubleshooting , please run "dxdiag.exe" to check the properties of your GPU after restart .

  • ORA-00704: bootstrap process failure and SYSTEM datafile corrupt

We have an Oracle 10g Express database that is getting the following error on startup.
    ORA-00704: bootstrap process failure
It is also showing that the SYSTEM datafile is corrupt. And unfortunately the backups are gone. Is there any way to recover from this without a backup? Maybe some hidden undocumented parameter???
We do have some full database exports from a couple weeks ago so it is not a complete loss but would really like a full recover.

  • Which MacBook Pros are safe to buy used and not recalled for video graphics/display failure (due to overheating)?

I've had some bad luck with MacBook Pros lately. I bought a 2010 model but it was effectively a Total Loss because of a vehicle accident. From searching with Google, people have reported logic board failures. Who knows if mine would've failed, too.
Then I bought an older 2009 MacBook Pro and that eventually failed due to the graphics chip failure. There was a recall on it but the problem occured JUST after the recall period expired. I don't have a microwave solder lying around or a proper setup to fix the problem myself.
Now, I im in the market for a used MacBook Pro, as a gift (I can't afford a new one right now) (with the luck I have, I'm basically done with them but the person wants one).
I've seen some 2011 models priced quite attractively, which caused me to do a quick check and find that the (early) 2011 models also have video graphic failures. I don't get it. I understand paying for the name, but the name also has to have reliability and you don't hear about video graphics failures from some of the more well known PC manufacturers..just saying.
I'd strongly prefer to not purchase any retina models, if at all possible. I want a mechanical SATA HDD and an optical drive. I oppose proprietary components -- as I understand it, the retina models make it nearly impossible to upgrade.
Which used MacBook Pros are safe for purchase? In other words, which ones do not have recalls or are susceptible to video graphics/display failures? I don't want to put the money down for one, only to hear it kicked the bucket and it needs service and is out of warranty.
    Thank you for your time.
