Mainstage is reading my buttons together instead of separate.

I use the M-Audio Oxygen 88 MIDI controller with Mainstage 2. When I try to assign a screen control to a button on my MIDI controller, it reads the buttons together so that every button performs the same action. I don't know if the problem is with the hardware or with the software, or if I am simply not doing something correctly. I have followed all the instructions in the manual. If anyone knows what the problem is or why it is happening, that information would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the controller keyboard is sending out the same MIDI messages for each button?
You need to check what messages are being sent from the controller, and make sure that they are different for each button/fader etc. The easiest way to do this would be using the MIDI activity monitor in Mainstage, but there may be an editor program for the Oxygen that wouldl help (or the 3rd party MIDI Monitor app).

Plug the iPhone in with the Wall Charger. Then while plugged in do the Reset again, hold both Home and Power buttons until the iPhone Restarts. This usually begins to happen in less than 20 seconds time.
If you this does not work you can try to Restore the Firmware on your iPhone. If you decide to do this, connect your iPhone to your computer with iTunes open. Hold both the Home and Power buttons until the iPhone is detected by iTunes in Recovery Mode, this takes about 20 seconds time. Restore your iPhone.
If this does not work, you can try to Restore the Firmware on your iPhone in DFU Mode. Connect your iPhone to your computer with iTunes open. Hold both Home and Power buttons for exactly 10 seconds, release the Power Button and keep holding the Home Button until iTunes recognizes the iPhone in Recovery Mode, about 20 seconds more time. Restore the iPhone.
If this does not work and you have Warranty or AppleCare Coverage take your iPhone to Apple for resolution of the problem.

Thank you for trying to help. I followed your instructions, it took 6 hours to download, and then said it could not solve the problem (something to do with error 9?). It will have to go back to Apple - its only 3 days since it came out of the package and its very disappointing for him. Looks like I have to hang around in the Apple store in Plymouth all tomorrow until they can fix it, or will change it. Thanks for your help.

How long have you had your phone? Because if you've had it a long time, the battery in the phone might of died on you. Or have you dropped it in water, snow, from high up? All those things could of disconnected something internally in your phone, or permentaly damaged the internal hard drive its self, or the sims card.

Restore iPhone with iTunes on computer. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. Hold both Home and Power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, usually about 20 seconds time of holding both buttons. Click the Update or Restore button that iTunes offers.

You need to hold both those buttons down for several seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. Don't release until then.

You need to be running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 at the very least in order to sync your iPad with iTunes so you could update your Mac, if it can be updated, and if you care to do so.
If that's not an option, you will have to find someone that can restore the device for you with their computer running iTunes or make an appointment at an Apple Store and ask them to restore the device for you.
I hope that you have an iCloud backup, because you will lose everything on the device when it is restored.

Also, I would not give up on the reset technique....holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears. It takes about 10-15 seconds and sometimes just a little longer to get the logo to appear.

Recovery Mode
1. turn off the iPhone.
2. connect the USB cable to the iphone.
3. press the home button (the large round), and press and hold connect the other end of the USB cable to your PC.
4. continue to hold pemuto the home button.
5. within about 8/10 seconds will appear on the screen of the phone USB cable + iTunes.
6. your iphone is now in recovery mode.
7. will open automatically iTunes you will detect an iPhone in recovery mode.
To return to normal mode you just hold the home button + shut down: the Apple logo in about 1 minute and the iphone will reboot.
