Mainstage Metronome Output did not save. HELP!!!

Hello everyone. Sorry for my bad English. I used all versions of mainstage and I've never had this problem. Now I have the latest update of Yosemite on my new macbook pro, the last update of mainstage 3 and the last update of the driver of my Focusrite Scarlett 6i6. The problem: I set the metronome in the preferences in the output 11, I set it to concert level and accordingly comes in every patch in output 11. Except, I close mainstage, I open again the concert and the metronome is going to end in an output apparently chosen at random, not only that but when I go to check each patch in the channel strip you see output 11 but cliking shows output 5 and until I change patch to patch the metronome does not sound in any channel !!! PLEASE HELP ME !!!It's driving me crazy!!!

iMovie should save as it goes along, though it is known that sometimes minor edits such as title text changes fail to be saved. Are these the kind of things you are missing or are more substantial?
Did you close iMove normally last time or did it crash or was it force-quit?
The key folder you need is iMovie Projects but if iMovie did not save the edits I don't think you will find a more up to date version on Time machine.

Hallo community!
My mac got stock on a website because of a java update so I was forced to shut down the computer using the on-botton. Upon restarting my work on Pages I clicked on the file I was working on so as to open both the file and pages but the file wouldnt open. I checked if I had also saved the file on my documents to try to restart it from there. But this file comes originally from a USB which I dont have at this moment although I could kee on working on this file without the usb. The file is not my documents yet it shows on the last files-list of pages.
I cant open this file anymore, maybe because I did not save it to my files. Although this is strange because I even named another file I worked on along this first document. Enfin, the first file even has a backup according to the list but the backup wont open either. I don't know how to get this file back I am in big trouble If I dont get to open it soon! I hope somebody can help me. Anyone knows a trick or something!?

What version of Pages?
It sounds like it may be damaged.
You do not have to save to Documents.

All my electronics are about a year old. iPad is Model MB293LL (4.2.1) only wi-fi - no phone.
MacBook Pro is OSX 10.6.8 Build 10K549. Also have an AT&T iPhone that I basically use as a Palm, since I changed carriers.

the settings are gone, i guess. But even worse, I cannot get the iPad2 to play Full HD thru the Apple digital AV adaptor using apps that support (and advertise this), like AVPlayer HD. This definiteley used to work before one of the last iOS upgrades. (I am now at 5.1.1).

You didn't import all of your pics regularly? Particularly before an update?
They may very well be gone.
You can try restoring from backup.

I was not aware that ctrl+s no longer works in reader and closed the PDF after savign it(with ctrl+s). However ,the data is lost and there seems to be no way to recover it.
I cannot find any temp files created by Reader on my system.
Also to my surprize(and shock), the reader did not even show a warning before closing the PDF. Does anybody know if/where can I recover the file from?

Are you using Adobe Reader XI? And not Acrobat. It does not ask me to save the form if there are unsaved changes.
I have used previous versions of reader for saving this form data and it did allow me to save it with ctrl+s. And those versions did prompt me to save the changes before closing.
I guess I should not have updated the reader.

If you had never saved the file at any time, you have lost your work.
Go to; Apple Menu > Force Quit
Start a new presentation, and from now on, after adding the first object to the slide, save the file.

Or if all else fails and you think you had it in iCloud...
You won't find it via a normal search in Finder.
But in Finder you can try holding down the option key and in the menu Go > Library > Mobile Documents > com~apple~Numbers and look for an 'Untitled.numbers' document there.

I was half asleep and shut down GB before saving a recording/track of a rehearsal. Upon opening GB the 'project' was there but the track is gone. Can i retrieve it somehow?

If you did not save the the project, you cannot access the audio track directly, because it will have been deleted from the file system.
But check with data recovery software, if it can restore the file from your drive. Disk Drill has a free trial, so you can see if it will work, before you buy the software:

I cannot change the Font on Microsoft Office; also my work did not save. I use Firefox, not Internet Explorer

I use Times Roman, 14, Bold. It comes up huge in Firefox. I can only reduce it to 8 and that is not enough. I would like it to look like the Font I used on my old computer. Also, my work did not save.

Open a new document in the TextEdit application and copy and paste the contents of the frozen Word document in the new TextEdit doc and save to your desktop. Force close Word if it won't close normally, reboot the PC, open the TextEdit document you previously created and copy the contents from the TextEdit doc back into a new Word document and hopefully all will be well.

Symantec need to correct a mistake they made with their add-ons. They originally updated their add-ons after quite a delay to work with Firefox 4.0 as shown here - http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Internet-Security-Norton/Firefox-4-compatibility-hotfix-is-now-available/td-p/428894
They made an error with the update in only listing it as compatible with Firefox 4.0, so they will not install on Firefox 4.0.1 and subsequent Firefox security updates.
