Mainstage no encuentra los sonidos de logic express

cuando busco sonidos con el mainstege, me encuentra los del garageband pero no los del logic express...

De hecho el problema no es la impresion, es la visualizacion de todos los layouts, lo que ven en la vista preeliminar no coincide con lo datos con lso que se diseño el formato.
Todos lo formatos de todos los tipos de documentos en SAP, tienen el mismo detalle, se muestran con muy pequeñitos, tambien lso que trae SAP por sistema.
En otra base de datos se visualizan normal, revise detalle por detalle las medidas , fuentes y todo desde la edicion de lauouts y todo es igual entre base y base, pero los formatos aparentemente no la respetan.
Espero no confundirte mas con esto

Logic Express and MainStage 2

Is it possible to use MainStage 2 with Logic Express 9.1.5.? Are there any limitations to not having Logic Pro 9. I'm very happy with LE9.1.5. as it meets all my needs (perhaps with the exception of not having Space Designer) but if I need to upgrade to get the most out of MainStage 2 then I will. I've posted this in the Logic Express Forum, as well, as I'm not sure of the best place to get an answer.

Oh yeah, and Logic Express will automatically inherrit 15,000 new Apple Loops from 6 Jam Packs and probably more than 1000 EXS24 sampled instruments!! So, yeah, $29 is a great upgrade for Logic Express. To be clear though, the 120+ plug-ins from MainStage will not become available in Logic Express. They only work in Logic Pro and MainStage.

Logic Express 8 glitches with Mountain Lion - will I lose stuff if I re-install?

I use Logic Express 8, but it has been acting up since I upgraded my iMac from Leopard through Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion. The sliders for navigating around my song projects are not working properly, which makes it difficult to zoom in on details. The program also crashes every time I use Flex-Time. Anyone know why this is and what I should do? I have a large amount of stored music projects on my Mac and, although they're backed up on Time Machine, I'm afraid that if I re-installed Logic Express 8 I might lose all this material and have nightmares getting it back.

Can I use Mainstage software instruments in Logic Express 9?

I would like to add more software (MIDI) instruments to Logic Express 9. I understand Mainstage comes with what used to be called Jam Packs. Can I use those Mainstage software instruments in Logic Express 9? If not, where do i find additional software instruments?

App Store Mainstage affected Logic Express 8

I downloaded Mainstage a few weeks ago and am very pleased with the purchase and it is working fine.
However I already owned logic 8 express, which has changed since the installation of mainstage. The presets have changed to suit mainstage's, taking many of my favourite presets away. This would be fine, except most of the presets now utilise Spacedesigner, which logic 8 express does not have. Each time I select one of these instruments/presets I get the error message Logic Express: Plug-in “SpaceDsn” not available!. It completely disrupts the creative flow and it is hard to tell which settings I can use and which I can't use.
Selecting Guitars is equally difficult. Most of the Main stage presets use pedalboard, which logic 8 express does not have.
Is there a way to tell logic the location of space designer? in the mainstage folder perhaps?

There is no way to get the missing effects and instruments into in older version of Logic or GarageBand. They are part of the application code.

Actually I have found a way for at least the instrument plug ins to be accessed.
I was able to set up an instance of Sculpture in MS2 and record it in LE using Soundflower.
Route the audio from MainStage to Logic and record onto an audio track in Logic as follows:
If not already installed, get SoundFlower. After installing it.
A) Setup the sound you want in MS2 and audio output to Soundflower (remember to Apply Changes or it does not hold).
B) In Logic Express set the audio input to Soundflower and create a new audio track for recording. Important: set Soundflower's audio output to however you listen to your audio or you won't hear anything.
C) Press RECORD and start playing, LE captures Mainstage's sound.
I have not tried to wire LE's output to MS2 to take advantage of Space Designer. but since this functions, I'm not sure why that couldn't work as well. It is still flipping though a few screens though...might just be easier to get Logic Pro from the App store....

I have just spoken to two supervisors and 4 underlings about this exact concern and they ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO BUDGE in regard to a sidegrade or smaller upgrade fee. I have been a loyal Mac user, ****, an EVANGELIST since 1990, spent well over 100 grand on the apple products I needed and I tried being super polite, explained that I had barely had a chance to learn a thing about Express since I bought it in the store after realizing that there was no way I could afford the Logic Pro 9 box sitting next to it.
THE ANSWER IS IF YOU WANT THE NEW, CHEAPER VERSION OF LOGIC PRO 9 AND MAINSTAGE, YOU NEED TO TOSS OUT YOUR ALREADY CANCELLED LOGIC EXPRESS 9 DISKS, FORGET YOU BOUGHT THEM IF YOU CAN, AND, IF YOU WERE DOWNSIZED LIKE I WAS 3 YEARS AGO BECAUSE MY BACK GAVE OUT...
GO AHEAD. SEE IF YOU CAN KEEP YOURSELF FROM THROWING UP WHEN YOU HIT THAT PURCHASE BUTTON ON THE TWO PROGRAMS THEY REDUCED IN PRICE.

Feeling Ripped Off - Logic Express 9 Upgrade Issue

Hi, I have been using Logic Express 8 for about a year. I just bought the upgrade for Logic Express 9. I started installing it, entered the serial number and then I was prompted to enter the serial number for my Logic Express 8.
I have since misplaced my LE 8 booklet with the serial number on the back (a bunch of stuff didn't make it to my new apartment in a move). I didn't think this would be a big deal. I thought I would be able to find the serial number of my current version of LE 8 by clicking on the "About Logic Express" tab when I have the program running. However, when you click this all you get is who it is registered to (me) and the version number (8.02).
I called technical support and asked them where I can find the serial number and they said sure, "click on About Logic Express when you have the program open and it will be right there (he also called it the splash page)." It wasn't and isn't. The tech support person said "ah yes, only the previous versions of Logic Express show you the serial number of the version you currently are running." I asked if there was anywhere else that I could find this number and he said "no."
Solutions? He suggested I find my receipt and fax it in and get a new serial number. Impossible, I don't have the receipt. Call the store and see if they can dig it up. Let's get real. It was purchased with Xmas money in cash I got from my parents.
Basically, I'm screwed. I have an opened LE 9 upgrade that I can't return. I have a version of LE 8 that I legally purchased and for some dumb reason there isn't a file or page or something in the program that notes my serial number.
Not fair. I guess I have to tattoo all serial numbers for stuff I purchase from Apple to my arms on the chance that I lose a booklet. Why Apple doesn't include a file or store the serial number of the LE version you are running somewhere on the system is beyond me.
So, I feel ripped off. Apple doesn't care. I thought there would be some way we could work this out (like printing the screenshot of the page that says I am the registered owner) but they would rather try to get another $100 out of a loyal Apple customer and force me to buy LE 9 straight up. I've probably spent about $7,000 on Apple stuff in the past 6 years. I am the definition of a loyal customer.

You didn't buy Logic Express, you merely paid for the right to use it. When you install it, you are presented with the license agreement to which you must agree.
At the top of the agreement it reads "IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THE LICENSE, YOU MAY RETURN THE APPLE SOFTWARE TO THE PLACE WHERE YOU OBTAINED IT FOR A REFUND...."
So, try taking it back to the store and telling them you declined the license agreement and want a refund.

Where can I find what versions of software are compatible with Yosemite? ie. Logic Express, Microsoft Office, iTunes etc

I'm thinking of getting a new iMac, however I am concerned some current software will not be compatible with it and I'll lose files etc. For example all my music files for Logic Express 8.
I am currently running:
Mac OS X version 10.6.8,
iTunes 11.4,
iPhoto 7.1.5,
Logic Express 8.0.2,
Microsoft Word/Excel etc. is 12.3.6.
These are the most used applications so I want to limit any losses from these if I were to get a new iMac.
Any support with this, and on how to transfer files to a new iMac would be very much appreciated.

Logic Express 7.0.1 Update/Upgrade

I have Logic Express version 7.0.1 and never did get the "paid" upgrade to Logic Express version 7.1 (or was it version 7.2?). I'm wondering what the latest version of Logic Express 7 is and how I would go about getting the update/upgrade to 7.1 (or 7.2)?
I use GarageBand most of the time and don't use Logic Express a lot so I don't really want to fork out the cash to move to version 8 but it would be nice to see it updated somehow. Logic Express 7.0.1 seems to work fine on 10.5.6 for me, by the way.
I just can't seem to find any info on Apple's website about the version 7.1 (or 7.2) update/upgrade.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

I don't see any problem with trying LE7 in a Leopard environment. Usually newer OS have backwards compatibility with older software. However, just in case, have all your valuable data backed up before upgrading. With all bases covered you can easily revert to the old setup if something goes wrong under Leopard. The only thing you can lose is time spent to re-install Tiger and LE7.

I have logic express. is this the same?

I've currently got Logic Express 9 (9.1.7).
I purchased this a while ago.
Now all of a sudden i see on the Mac App Store, they have Logic Pro 9 (9.1.7). Is this the same program?
My icon for the app is Gold, but on the Mac App Store, it's silver. Mine is called Express, the mac app store is called Pro.
My big concern is that on the Mac App Store, it gives me the option to buy Logic Pro 9, it doesn't say I already own the program. This is what makes me think that it's a different program. And if they're dropping Logic Express, and going with Logic Pro, am I screwed out of a program? Am I going to have to shell out 200 bucks to have Logic Pro, instead of Logic Express, just so I can get updates?

Logic Studio doesn't exist in the Mac App Store, but you can buy Logic Pro (with all the content), MainStage and Compressor individually.

Double click LP song, and it opens Logic Express

I just upgraded from Logic Express to Logic Pro. I have not deleted LE from the computer, coz I am doing live music on the road, and if I lose my XSKey, I want to use LE as a backup. However, when I quit Pro after saving a song, then double click the song, it starts up LE again. Do I have to delete LE to have LP open by doubleclicking a song? I know I can drag the song to LP, but I hate "workarounds."

I ended up having to do it in the Get Info window, because the right click did not have an "always" option, but opened up the file immediately in Pro. I clicked the Change All... button answering the "Use this application to open all documents like this."

I'm using logic express 9.1.6. today I bought Mainstage 2 in the appstore. there are a lot of powerfull plugins. some of them, like e.g. space designer, are not included in logic express.
how can I use the in logic express? they are not listed automatically with all the others...

La versión de OSX instalada tiene ya 3 años. La memoria RAM de que dispone es la mínima necesaria para las funciones más comunes. Posiblemente la tarjeta gráfica apenas alcance en memoria VRAM. Asi que lamento decirte que por los estándares actuales, no es un un Mac "normal", sino uno algo antiguo y de escasa potencia.
