Maintain language while changing style

I'm norwegian, and I usually type things in norwegian when using pages. I'm a big fan of the styles drawer because it lets me get the perfect style for titles, subtitles, bullet points, and more with just one click, the only problem is that it seems like the language is included in the styles drawer options.
for example if I start typing using the body style, I change my language to norwegian using the text inspector, and then It's norwegian, then I want some bullet points, so I click on the bullet points text in the styles drawer, and now the text I'm typing is no longer norwegian, It got reset to English. This is very annoying as I really like using the styles drawer, but I now need to go to the inspector, click on text, click on more, and change the language back to norwegian. (I'm using cocoaAspell, since there is not Norwegian spellcheck included on mac os X .
anyone know a way to get pages to remember the language, or is iWork just not meant for people who don't speak english as their first language?

As there is no Norwegian version of Pages, you are working with the English version.
You may use the features available in the product to change the behavior of styles.
Apply one of the predefined styles to a paragraph
Let the paragraph selected
Inspector > More
set the language to "Norwegian" (from CocoaSpell)
Click on the red down triangle near the used style
Select the entry "Redefine Style from Selection"
Do that to every styles.
Save as a custom template.
Bingo.
For those working with a localized version, the setting is already done.

open Index-iso.xml (with TextWrangler for instance)
Search for
</sl:decimalTab>
replace by
</sl:decimalTab><sl:language><sl:string sfa:string="no"/></sl:language>
save the Index-iso.xml file
After that, the Blank WP template will default to Norwegian.
