Maintain LGREG for material maintenance

Dear all,
my customer wants the possibility to maintain import tariff numbers in the section ' GTS area menu > Customs Mgmt > Master data '. I have customized the according legal regulation, but I am facing 2 strange things:
1. Some LGREGs are available for material maintenance, although they are not 'activated' in the section "Customs Processing" Service. 'My' new LGREG will be available for material maintenance, ONLY when activating it in the section "Customs Processing" Service.  Why is this behaviour different to the other LGREGs? (Resp.: Which settings changes this?)
Customs processing > Display outbound activities (transaction is /SAPSLL/CL_CP_CUS_EXP )
2.1. Once my import LGREG is activated for customs, going to the export menu (overview about customs declarations) I will see entries doubled.
E. g.: Export Declaration: Open / In Process. This is now shown as Open / Open / In Process / In Process.
2.2. Why do I see my import regulation in the 'outbound' menu? This does not make sense to me. Is this an error, or 'Standard system behaviour'? If standard, what's the purpose of that?

"The first part of your question seems confusing (or confused). You cannot maintain Tariff Codes in the "Master Data" area of the system, for any Legal Regulation. Please clarify the exact navigation path and/or Transaction you are trying to use."
Going to the described menu, check for the 'classification' tab. You can call up a random material and will see to which LGREGs / numbering schemes the material can be assigned.  "My new LGREG" appears only when activating it in the Customs processing service, while others can be chosen without being activated for import / export.
GTS area menu > Cust.mgmt / Master data > Maintain products
SPRO > SAP Global Trade Services > SAP Customs Management > "Customs Processing" Service > Activate Legal Regulations

I am afraid your assumption is wrong, it's a standard country. Questions like "why are the entries doubled in a specific menu" are not covered by GTS200 training. (BTW; apparently the table causing the double-entries is /SAPSLL/ALRG01). I believe this is related to settings made in the customizing but as stated ago, I am wondering about the system behaviour.
Dave, I don't know why you spend time to tell people that you are not willing to help, but your personal negative comment is inappropriate. See, there are 1177 GTS-related threads and they were posted because people had 1177 questions they could not answer on their own. If people knew the answer, they would not ask.     SAP recommends Bug's eye of Requisite.
    SAP has launched its own Catalog and content management in SAP SRM ( Supplier Relationship Management).
    If you require your Buyer can directly order the materials on internet you may use EBP module of SAP SRM.

  • Accounting data not yet maintained for material 2010 R-1130-40

    Hi Guys
    I was trying to post a goods issue, but having a error that says -
    accounting data not yet maintained for material 2010 R-1130-40
    I then tried MM02 to maintain the accounting view, but also having an error that says -
    accounting 1 not active for the organizational level.
    Any ideas please as to what to do.

    Extend the Accounting view with Tcode :MM50
    Go to MM50 , select Maintenance status as "B" and enter Material number and click on execute (F8), then select the Material line item and click on Maintain Materials tab.

  • In Purchase Order Line item Maintaining Serial Numbers for Material Codes

    Dear Gurus,
    We have a business process in legacy system for Purchase Order like in PO line item, Material code with description, Quantity, unit of Measurement, Serial Number Start and Serial Number End is maintained, for example for Material code when we enter the data AXMLN00001 in Serial Number Start column, if the Qty 500 is maintained, by default system will calculate AXMLN00500 in Serial Number End column. 
    We understand that in standard SAP we donu2019t have this option of maintaining Serial Number Start and End in Purchase order Line item. Please let us know how this can be mapped and is it advisable to create two Z fields in EKPO table or else can we make any development.
    Suppose if this is not possible in SAP for PO then in Banks if we want to place a order for Cheque books how we can maintain Start and End Serial Numbers to print in cheque books.
    Also client is not agreeing to maintain manually Serial numbers in item text.

    When the PO Item was created say for example Material had Valuation category "Y" and latter you wanted to change the category to "Y". Now system would have check for all open PO's etc...based on this you must have set Deletion Indicator to this Line Item to allow valuation category change in material master. Now when this Item got created in the table level (EKPO), system updates the valuation category "Y". Currently this valuation category is not active so it would not allow you to perform removal of deletion indicator as program cannot automatically nor you have an option to manually update the valuation category to this Item.

    if you do not make the indicator Price control manadatory active then you can have different price indicator for each plant. However thsi indicator is never done plant specific. If you wish to have plant specific then you may have to have a new material type and again you need to control the MM01 creation for that particular plant by means of Authorisation control which is littel involved also but can be done.

  • Schedule line getting created for material whose stocks are maintained

    Hi Friends,
    I am having an unusual problem of schedule line getting created for material whose stocks are there in the system. I have created an SO for some material, and all the material is having sufficient qty in the system but still the system is generating schedule line.
    Can someone please advice what could be the problem and the solution to it.

    - In TCode MM02, Check Scheduling in MRP2 Tab of Material master (if MRP is active.)
    - In Tcode OVZ9 - AvC control, for your Availability check maintain (eg. 02) in material & Checking Rule:A-SD order.
    Whether Check availability without replenishment lead time is unchecked, as this Indicates whether, during the availability check, the system checks the replenishment lead time. So, Items for which the delivery date falls within the replenishment lead time, but for which there is no inventory, are confirmed for delivery after the replenishment lead time. In the case of items for which the delivery date falls after the end of the replenishment lead time, the system assumes that everything can be confirmed.

  • Acc *** Mandatory for Material + Material 200000060 not maintained by Purch

    Dear Gurus,
    I wanted to up the quantities for the following material in stocks: 200000060
    I then went to TC- ME21N and the system came out with the following message:
    Account assignment mandatory for material 200000060 (enter acc. ***.
    Material 200000060 not maintained by Purchasing
    Can anyone explain to me where to maintain this account assignment as there appear to have at least 2 fields in the Material Master Data with a similar name.
    Also can you explain to me how to maintain this material in Purchasing please.

    Hi,
    You have not maintined purchasing view and account view 1 for this material for that particular plant for which you are making the P.O.
    In the accounting view you have to enter the valuation class and price for the material and if this filled then it will not ask for account assignment while doing me21n.

  • Error Valuation & is not maintained for material & in IDOC

    Hi Experts!
    I'm currently having a difficult problem here.
    This is an idoc issue. The scenario is: An idoc is created from WEB and an error appears "Valuation & is not maintained for material &" in SAP. But when we reporcess again usign the same data through WE19 everything seems to be okay. The status is green. Do you have any idea regarding this?
    The error must not appear because the material that is being process is a non-stock material which does not need valuation.
    I hope somebody can help me on this.

    Please see that error ME124 ir raised because view "plant stock /
    storage location stock" is not maintained in material master for plant.
    if the material is not available in stock then no delivery and no
    transfer is possible. It is not possible for non-stock
    materials to make an stock transfer.
    If you are using ME21* to create stock transfer order,
    Please make sure the view "plant stock / storage location stock"
    have maintained for the relevant plant in the material master
    record.
    Please also make sure the quantity flag have switched on in Ta OMS2
    for both the delivery and receiving plant for the material type
    that you are using. Otherwise, the error message ME 124 will be
    issued.
    But if you get the error  error ME124 only for a vendor  is the
    assignment in Vendor Master (MK03) to plant. This assignment is
    used in case of STO, in which plant must be assigned to vendor.
    In order to not get the error, please remove plant  in the
    following path:
    XK03 > Extras > Add. purchasing Data > Plant assignment.

    Hi gurus
    18.02.2009 i created one STO PO. but material price in the accounting view the price was "Zero" in plant 1000. In plant 2000 the price has already maintained.
    But today i updated the material price like Rs 200/- through MR21 for plant 1000.
    After that while i transport the material through MB1B (351 mvt type) plant 1000 to 2000, i got the following error msg.
    "ZFI999:Maintain price for the material 254600254 in plant 1000".

    the message no is not standard i think there has been a new message created. please check with your ABAPer about the message.
    just want some clarification. you are doing STO from plant 1000 to 2000. the price should be picked for that material maintained in plant 2000.
