Maintaining date of death of a retired employee

Hello,
I wonder how to register the date of death of a retired employee.
Leaving action has already been executed with a reason like "Retirement".
We maintain some infotypes (0002 and 0006) in order to offer some services (e. g. sending the enterprise newspaper).
If a person dies, we do not know where we can maintain this information. We don't want to modify the existing leaving action, and we cannot execute a 2nd leaving action.
I could add a customer field in infotype 0002, but is there a standard way to maintain this information? Is there a field somewhere I didn't find?

Yes, infotype 41 is a good idea.
So you agree that there is not a standard field or infotype for this purpose?

    Ankur please note I have defined all my elements as of Last standard process.
    so does that mean that what you have suggested earlier will work fine.
    ( i.e."From the payroll point of view, While terminating , enter only Actual termination date and leave Final process date blank. This will let you process employee payroll even though he is terminated".)

  • Income Tax Projection for Retiring Employees

    Hi Folks,
    One of our Employee is getting retired in the month of August, As per SAP,In April-2009 his IT projection happens for the entire financial Year April to March 2010.
    That is his IT projection for APril to March is 5Lakhs, but his actual earnings from April to date of Separation (till august) is 3.5 Lakhs, because of this his Tax liablity from APril to July goes high and in the month of August there is a refund.
    Now for retiring Employees how can we make the IT projection happen only till the month of Retirement.  Is their any standard process available or through custom development.
    Experts Plz advice.

    HOWEVER THERE IS ANOTHER SOLUTION ALSO.
    One can create an retirement action,  which has to be executed for all the employees going to retire during the year.
    system will calculate the gross and project the tax only upto the retirement date.
    if exttn is required you can also config the retirement-exten action in case of extension is carried out.
    Rather than touching the standard scheme this is the best way I know?  you can also fetch the reports in the future with the help of standard reports.
    However, if anyone is having any PCR idea, that is also welcome.  Do give me a helping hand by share the same.

    Also, a table control wizard in Screen Painter(SE51) exists, which takes you step by step through the Table Control generation and also creates code, so you can start using the Table Control right away.
    You can either specify a database table, or use an internal table from program.
    If you want to use internal table, it needs to be predefined in your program, before you start creating the table control.

  • GRC 10: Maintain Data Sources Config Problem

    Hi All,
    I was trying to configure the User Data Sources for:
    1. Search
    2. User Details
    During this, I went to SPRO->GRC->AC->Maintain Data Sources Configuration. Here, first I tried to configure User Search Data Sources. When I clicked on New Entries, It gave me a screen wherein I have to fill details for:
    1. Target Connector
    2. Sequence
    3. User Data Type
    In Target Connector, I could find the connector I defined for the back end system and I could select it.
    In Sequence field, it is not showing any possible values. However, we can mention any value I believe. Then I mentioned like 12.
    In User Data Type, I shows as a possible values option. But when I click F4, it says:
    No Values Found
    Can anybody help me configuring this?

    Hello Faisal,
    Please note that you can have backend connectors as LDAP, SAP HR system
    Now the question is if you are using SAP HR system (i.e. a ECC system with HR module implemented) then
    1) Target Connector --> RFC name for the SAP ECC system
    2) Sequence --> you can put it as 1 ( if multiple  then you may decide which should be 1st source , 2nd source and so on)
    3) User data Type : It can be SU01 or HR
    If you are using LDAP as data source then ,see to it that you have maintained all the details for LDAP as required in SPRO configuration.
    i.e. create LDAP connector,Register the program at OS level, make necessary settings in transaction : LDAP

    Go to SE80 and select package as SDWA and press enter
    You will see whole list of screen sample programs, you can modify the code little bit to suit the tables u want to update.

    Im trying to create one infosets via Tcode sq02 and use environment setting in standard area (there's two options there, the others is global area). Does this setting can be appearing infosets was creating, in this path Marketing => Segmentation => Marketing Segments =>Maintain Data Sources for Segment Builder=>create attribute lists button. Im also trying to create others infosets using global area environment setting and is appearing. is anyone explanation what setting can be doing for this way?  many thanks for ur answer

  • Maintaining data in standard table

    Hi experts,
    We have a requirement in which we have to maintain a standard customizing table in production. Currently user is maintaining entries through SPRO, including them in transports and getting it moved to Production. He want to overcome the current process.
    We thought of two ways as below : -
    1. Creating a T-Code for SM30 of that table and moving it to Production. Later user can use this T-Code and maintain entries. But here is a challenge that production client always remains closed for changes. So we have limitation on maintaining data with this way.
    2. Creating an upload program with database query updating this table but ideally it is not suggested to update a standard SAP table using database query.
    So if there is any other way, please do let me know.

  • Cannot maintain data in SM30

    I added 2 fields in DB then i generated a table view object so that users can through sm30 to maintain data. Once i transport the reqeust to production and then maintain the data, system alert me that "Client has status 'not modifable'. Acutally, some of table views are maintain by this method. What's wrong? Thanks

    1 - Goto your Z table in SE11
    2 - On "Delivery and Maintenance" tab, check if Delivery Class is set to "A" and Data browser/Tableview Maint. is "X" (Display/Maintenance Allowed).
    If they don't, change the settings and activate the table.
    AFTER THAT, you should go to Utilities -> Table Maintenance Generator.
    Click on the first button (the pencil for edit), then on the pop-up window click Expert Mode. Than select all items and click OK.
    This should adjust all the SM30 program and should work OK!
    The problem is that when you change the table Display/Maint. info, the SM30 function modules need to be updated. Otherwise, you still get the non-modificable message!

        in ME47 eventhough we change quantity or netprice of a material in EKPO, AEDAT is getting changed and document gets maintained, is there any table or filed name to Identify specifically last maintained date(it changes only for netprice value change).

    Yes you can browse to table CDHDR dan CDPOS for the detail.
    In CDHDR, enter user name, range date, Tcode ME47, then get the change doc object, object value and document number to CDPOS table and execute, will get the change result there, and all effected table.change field also can be track , like effective = EFFWR

    There are some events that are triggered on changing data........
    you can go to swels to activate the event trace
    and swel to read it.......
    change the data and identify the event getting triggered.......
    go to swe2
    to identify if there is any workflow available linked to this event and then activate the linkage...... if available otherwise you can put your custom workflow with the event....

  • Salary & Income Tax Projection for Retiring Employees

    Hi Friends,
    We have a case where an employee is retiring on 14.08.2014 (which is his birthday also i.e. P0002-GBDATE = 14.08.1954).
    When we executed payroll for this employee in the month of July 2014, the system deducted income tax as per the slabs for a senior citizen (as Union Budget 2013-14, current year budget changes have not been incorporated).
    The company wants the employee to be considered as a 'normal citizen/person' and not as a 'senior citizen' until his date of retirement or during the tenure of his employment.
    What can be done to resolve this issue?
    We are using
    Actual Basis for Projection of Salary and Income Tax
    Date Type 'N0' in IT0041 (Date Specifications)
    Please suggest something.
