Maintaining Infotypes in PP01 for Central Person while already maintained n

Dear Team,
When we are using PP01 Transaction code by taking Object type Central Person system is showing is showing IT0001, IT0002, IT0006 and IT0009 etc. Please let us know the purpose of using all these infotypes as we have already maintained the same in PA30 u2013 Maintain master data
Could you please suggest us whether to update these infotypes here or not and what are implication of the same if we maintain them again here?

Hi,
When you enter central person and click to see data it takes you to PA30 infotypes and this shows that there is CP-P relation and tells you that link exists from OM to PA for same.
It is sufficient to maintain infotypes in PA30 only as this just shows you linkage nothing more.

    In our soultion we use HRTMC_SEARCH application to search for certain persons.
    For a specific person, we have set 3 aspirations. However, if we now search for persons with these aspirations, we cannot find them.

    First thing I noticed in TREXADMIN is that the last indexation is done in 2013 for following query hrtmc_centralperson~aspirations
    However if I go to esh_cockpit, I get the following
    I tried updating HRTMC Central Person (Search Object Connector) but nothing changes
    I also tried to use SES_ADMIN to recreate index but can't find the business object used for central persons

    We have detected a few problems.
    If we use the talent profile search scenario, it goes to the class CL_ESH_IF_SEARCH_REQUEST and uses method SEARH.
    However, if we go to scenario ESH_SEARCH_RESULTS_UI it uses method SEARCH_FEDERATED.
    SEARCH does not give us any result.
    SEARCG_FEDERATED does give us results.
    Second problem:
    If we open the value lists for for example CAREER_TYPE, we get 2 results to choose from, when there are actually 3
    If we go in debug, we can see that the table returns 3 lines, but the first one contains 0 while the 2nd and 3th return 0003 and 0004. First one should be 0002.
    We are on TREX 7.1 revision 53 and I have asked BASIS to install revision 58.
    Any idea's ?

  • Grey out an application for a person who already has filled the application

    Hi All,
    I have made an application which is prompts user to select various check boxes and fill text boxes. At the end of the form there is a submit button, which upon clicking inserts a record in database with that particular persons id.
    Now the issue is, how could I grey out the form so that next time the same user cannot fill the form. Right now I am able to display that, that person has already filled the form, but am not able to grey out the form.

    if there is a value in the row they are retrieving from the database to show they have completed data entry on the data, you can set the items in the region to be read-only.
    Each item has a section in the setup labeled Read Only Condition Type. In this you would select the Value of item in Expression 1 Equals expression 2. In Item one you would enter the item that has the value flagging the row as completed, and in item 2, you would be the value that shows the row is completed..

  • Central person for vendors replicated from R/3

    Hi All,
    I have replicated the vendors from R/3 to EBP system through PPOMV_BBP to Vendor root organisation.Alll the vendors got Business partenr ID only.
    If I want to send the bid invitation to the one of the vendor from the vendor root organisation  it is asking for central person is not existing for this vendor . How can we get the contact person for the vendors for whose are replicated form R/3.

    I replicated vendor from SRM and i,m not able to create the contact person by using tnx BBPMAININT(Employee for Business partner),it is throughing the error as "Invalid Date Format" when i am saving.

    I read that contact person is required for a vendor to send the bid invitatation to him,is't correct.

  • Maintaining sub element Costs for the Service Activity

    Dear Experts & MM Gurus,
    Requirement is to maintain the Sub Cost Elements for the activity and to maintain different unit & Rate for the sub cost elements .
    Scenario is explained below.
    1. while making Purchase Requisition for Services
          in Services Tab at item level i maintained Service Activity and for that activity i had maintained sub cost elements (Such as cost estimate for the activity) like labour cost,material & consumables cost,Transportation cost with the help of Pricing MS0000.
    2. My Concern is i need to maintain different unit and rate for the sub cost elements ,but system is not allowing to maintain different unit from unit available with activity unit.How can i maintain different unit for the Sub cost (pricing elements like PRSO,PRS1,PRS2) .
    EXAMPLE :1. Activity is Laying of Road where unit is AU  and price will be combination of all Sub cost elements .
                      2. Sub Cost Elements like labour cost where unit is man days,system doesnt allow to maintain this unit.
    pl comment /suggest on the above scenario.

    For services, U create activity group in AC03.
    U can have upto four levels.
    And Model service specifications u maintain in ML10.
    Then mainatin service conditions in ML33 / ML 39 based on with or with out plant.
    Then create the document, the price will pick it from the conditios u maintained.

    Create the new position and assign the CP to this position in transaction PPOME. You may find the position first there in PPOME, and then drag-drop the CP over the position to make the assignment. System will ask the percentage of responsibility.......which you will ve to enter...

       I am trying to update custom infotypes through BDC based on status change of employee in infotype 0000 , while the BDC is executing I am getting an error message 'Person is already being processed by - ' What is this error and how to rectify it ?

    You can't call a transaction (with BDC) from inside a transaction (in a user-exit).
    The call transaction contains a commit work - and this would corrupt the transaction logic of the first transaction. Even if you call something which is not currently locked by the first transaction, you should not do this.
    Either make your updates after saving the first transaction or try to change values inside the first transaction in global data (internal tables / structures which will be saved by standard later).

    The P-CP relationship is established through A/B 209. Try deleting unwanted relationship records in IT1001. Also check IT0031 for the employees.

  • Transferring standard HR Idoc fields to CRM Central Person via ALE

    Hello experts!
    Here is a description of a scenario I would like some help with please.
    We have a fully functioning standard ALE distribution of HRMD_ABA05
    IDoc from an HR Instance to a CRM Instance.
    The integration is maintaining Central Person data in CRM and then
    it maintains the Employee role Business Partner data from the CP.
    However it is a requirement to include the additional communication
    types and numbers stored in the HR System's PA0006 InfoType.
    Our requirement is to transfer fields PA0006-COM01, PA0006-NUM01... etc
    from HR to CRM. I understand that the target Central Person InfoType
    of PA0006 in CRM is HRP5583. This does not however contain the COM01,
    NUM01 fields.
    To this end I have tried in vain to implement the instructions
    contained in the cookbook attached to SAP Note 758426.
    I understand that in order to map this fields to the CRM Employee BP
    they must first exist on the Central Person record.
    I believe our scenario to be similar to Scenario 2 as described in the
    Cookbook in note 758426 except that the data already exists in the
    source IDoc.
    I have an implementation of Badi HRALEX_INBOUND but am unable to step
    into it from debug despite placing external breakpoints with the
    correct user... I'm not sure where or when this Badi should trigger?
    I would therefore like to know how to extend HRP5583 to include the
    extra standard data from PA0006.

    you can use PFAL to transfer HR master data.
    the data transfer from r/3 to crm is by means of bdoc and not through idoc.

  • Transfer from COmpany code to another Central Person..

    My client req is to transfer one Employee from company code to another COmpany COde
    COmpany COde      Number Range
    HIL1           1000 - 50000
    HIL2          100000 - 200000
    Transfer EMployee 1111 from Company COde HIL1 to HIL2. SInce it is not possible to change his Number from 1111 to 100000 series it is not possible, I suggested to Seprate that employee from HIL1 and rehire in HIL. Now client wants all thta master data to be copied into HIL2 company code. Please adise how to handle this...

    Hi SAPHCM,
    You are seeing some of the problems when you use Personnel Number to indicate something other than a specific individual.  You should not separate blocks of PERNRs by Company Code or any other grouping for the reasons you are now seeing - people get tranferred and the PERNR should not change.  The Organizational Assignment infotype contains all the fields necessary to separate out employees - PERNR should not be used for this. 
    If the Company Codes are in different countries, you can use the action "Cross Country Transfer".  This will retain all the personal data infotypes for an employee while it terminates him from one country and hires him into the other.  A better way to handle cross country transfers is "Global Employment".  If you are in 4.7 and above you can activate this and it will allow you to have more than one personnel number for an employee.  Here you use CP-Central Person to identify the employee. 
    Again, remove the separate blocks of numbers from being assigned by Company Code and your situation would be resolved by a simple transfer action.

  • Issue with IT0031 and Central Person and Business Partner (HRALX PBPHR)

    the following issue appeared in our system:
    I have two employee numbers (P1 und P2) that I need to link via IT0031 to make sure they have the same Central Person ID (CP). P1 already has a BP-relation (BP1) - the other doesn't.
    When I am now trying to save IT0031 I get the message that P1 and P2 can not be linked - but what is worse, P2 (the one formerly without a BP-relation) now has a BP2 even though nothing was saved in the infotype.
    It seems to have something to do with HRALX PBPHR because if I switch the parameter off in T77S0 I am able to link the two P (and therefore make sure only one CP and one BP relation exist) - but is the parameter activated it will generate a new second BP even though there is no cause to do so.
    Does anyone know how to fix this?
    Unfortunately, I can't let the parameter HRALX PBPHR  switched off, so I need some sort of work-around. Any help is appreciated.

    thanks for your reply...but the problem ist not the Central Person but the fact that while trying to link two P the parameter HRALX PBPHR in T77S0 generates a new BP for the P that hasn't had a BP relation before.
    In IT0031 no changes are saved due to an error message that results from finding relations to an object - that has not been there before. So, somehow I think this might be a bug or something because I see no reason why the parameter would react to linking two P via IT0031. Because the whole idea of this infotype is to copy CP and BP relations from one P to the other. And it works just fine when deactivating the parameter.
