Maintanence View User instruction

Hi Experts,
I have created a Ztable and also generated a maintance .
Using a Tcode SM30 , I am able to edit the content of the table.
I want to display a instruction , what data to enter in the table.
I found a ' USER INSTRUCTION ' in menu -> utitilities -> user instruction.
How to add the text to it ?
When clicked , it displays 'No doc. object found for the override' as information message.

Hi Pramoth,
it is not possible to use this menu entry for your individual documentation.
Take a look at the source code of the generated table maintainance dialog (include LSVIMF05) within transaction SE11 or SE56. It is not possible to change the parameters for calling FM IWB_HTML_HELP_OBJECT_SHOW.

CUPNO CUPNAME GUPNO GUPNAME.
Data it is displaying correctly.But user want CUPNAME and GUPNAME should be in the sorted format(alphabetical) .How i need to sort the CUPNAME and GUPNAME in the maintanence view.Can any body please help.

Go to table Maint. generator -> Modification and in source code you can sort on the basis of user requirement .

Hi Deniz,
you should to select a maintenance View radio Button. Than can you choise the DB Table (or Tables with Relations button) and choise Feld you watn to have in View.

Unable to view user login in OS X Lion 10.7.3 startup

unable to view user login in OS X Lion 10.7.3 startup. I had made some changes in icloud settings & by mistake must have checked some option related to username & password. Also when i turn my macbook pro on, i can see the grey background with apple logo, however it does not show my image & login password space. thus i'm unable login to my system. please help

hey ..was able to solve the problem,,had selected "name & password" in "display login window" option of "user & group" of system preference. That's why was unable to view my login username.
How i resolved it - after turning my macbook pro on, i pressed "shift" key...that way it opened in safe mode...& then went to system prefernce & again selected the previous option of "list of users" in display login window option. nyways thanx for helping out

Reg Maintanence view

We created a maintanence view and when we try to see the data in that it is saying
"NO DATABASE EXISTS FOR VIEW"
mY QUESTION IS
is it mandatory to have a database view for a maintanence view to see the data

what i assume is "NO DATABASE EXISTS FOR VIEW" means that the join you have given in the maint-view doesnt retreive any records. it means that "NO DATA EXISTS".
pls check the data you have joined and see whether any related data exists in the tables...

I had tried what you sad.I open shared service in that foundation project i had export shared service.after that in import-export file.In that role.csv,user.csv,group.csv.Like this file have.When i open user file added some users after i trying save in excel it shown messgse

HI,
You can create this in SE11, there create a search help, and in the Minatain Search HElp screen, give the Maintanance view name and give the field anmes as you want, and right side you will find 'Default Values', there you can give the default values, so here in the Field name give as <b>STATUS</b> and in the Defaule Value will be <b>2</b>.

ERROR VIRSA CC 5.2 - Management View -User Analisys - NOT UPDATED!!!!!

i executed the JOB of SYNK of users, the Job of RISK analysis and the JOB of update of management Report .
When i go in - Management View - User Analisys -( i select date , System , User Group ) Virsa CC shows me the correct number of users actually in the system, for this user group , according to USR02 SAP table , BUT Users with NO Violations and Users With Violations are not correct.
I show results:
No. of Users Analyzed : 25                CORRECT
Users with no Violations : 95 379%     NOT CORRECT
Users with Violations : -70 -279%        NOT CORRECT
The Interactive pie chart shows the correct number of users with violations : 2
Who it' s possible ?

You stated in your initial comment that the Management Report check box was NOT selected? If this is the case then the graphs on the informer tab have not been updated. You must first execute the SOD (user/role/profile) analysis, once that job is complete then execute a separate job for the management reports. This will then update the informer tab (given that your rule set has been updated with your custom functions and risks).

The followings are different types of views:
- Database View (SE11)
Database views are implement an inner join, that is, only records of the primary table (selected via the join operation) for which the corresponding records of the secondary tables also exist are fetched. Inconsistencies between primary and secondary table could, therefore, lead to a reduced selection set.
In database views, the join conditions can be formulated using equality relationships between any base fields. In the other types of view, they must be taken from existing foreign keys. That is, tables can only be collected in a maintenance or help view if they are linked to one another via foreign keys.
- Help View ( SE54)
Help views are used to output additional information when the online help system is called.
When the F4 button is pressed for a screen field, a check is first made on whether a matchcode is defined for this field. If this is not the case, the help view is displayed in which the check table of the field is the primary table. Thus, for each table no more than one help view can be created, that is, a table can only be primary table in at most one help view.

Difference between "Help View" and "Search Help"
- Projection View
Projection views are used to suppress or mask certain fields in a table (projection), thus minimizing the number of interfaces. This means that only the data that is actually required is exchanged when the database is accessed.
A projection view can draw upon only one table. Selection conditions cannot be specified for projection views.
- Maintenance View ( SE54 )
Maintenance views enable a business-oriented approach to looking at data, while at the same time, making it possible to maintain the data involved. Data from several tables can be summarized in a maintenance view and maintained collectively via this view. That is, the data is entered via the view and then distributed to the underlying tables by the system.

7. press the pushbutton relationship. here you will find all the tables which are allowed to create view with mara.

Maintanence view

Hi all,
I have a table that has the following fields:
MANDT key
PERNR(personal number) key
KOSTL (cost center)
For mandt t000 is assigned as the check table and pa0003 has been assigned as the check table of pernr field and CSKS for field kostl.
What my requirement is that: I want to create a maintanence view that has also person name surname,
BUT I cannot use PA0001 table while creating the view.
What is the problem?

OracleXE Newbie: How do I view user tables as SYS/SYSTEM?

I'm brand new to Oracle and downloade OracleXE to learn a bit about it. When I login as SYS or SYSTEM how do I view user tables? Don't I have full admin rights? I can't figure it out.
I've unlocked the sample application with the user HR and created the first sample app page to view Employees, and when logged in as HR I can see all of the tables but why not when I'm signed in as SYS or SYSTEM?

The sys and system users can see (and alter, drop, create) objects for any database user, just have to add the schema (a.k.a. database username) to the object name, i.e.
select * from hr.employees;
Should get you the hr employees table. There are also several views to help out, i.e. dba_users has all the database users, dba_objects for all objects in the database objects, dba_tables has all tables, etc.
And each user also gets similar views, user_tables has all the tables that user has created, and there is an all_tables view listing any table the user has been granted select or other privileges.

IMG and User Instructions required for retro Billing

Dear All
Please could someone be kind enough to post the IMG settings for Retro Billing and the user instructions on how this works.
Most of the information on the net is not that easy to follow.
The way i understand it, is as follows:-
'Invoice is created using condition record of a non up to date price.
New price is updated in condition record.
I now wish to create a debit memo/ credit memo for the difference from the old price to the new price, for a selection of invoices from to a certain date.
I believe retro billing can do this for me ???'

For pop up I used the value 'S' in the P- column while view creation, but how to hide the field ?

Viewer user see old worksheets - where can I clear cache?

We are using AS 10.1202. The viewer is configured with Web Cache off. We are finding that recent changes to workbooks are not showing up to our viewer user population. We are confident that the privs are correct and suspect some kind of caching. We have stopped and restarted the application server. We have cleared the AS Web Cache, even though disco is not supposed to be using it. We have cleared the mod plsql caches.
Any other suggestions?
