Maintenance certificate Renew

Hi,
I cannot renew the maintenance of certificate. When I go to the request a new valid maintenance is not avalaible for to keep.
What can i do? I can´t to validate a patch queue.

    Thanks for your replies.
    I want to know one thing As I have applied the maintenance certificates for AS ABAP and AS JAVA of SRM 7.0.
    As I got the certificate for JAVA and I have already applied it but still not getting certificate for ABAP.
    I did it manually through SMP.
    As I have checked in SOLMAN_WORKCENTER->>License Management->>As I can see Two columns as Maintenance Certificate and Received Maintenance Certificate.
    While in Maintenance Certificate Column I am getting Yellow LED and in the Received Maintenance Certificate I am getting Green LED for SRM 7.0.I am Confused regarding this Certificate.
    Kindly help me out.

  • J2EE Certificate Renewal in PI 7.0

    We are executing a project to renew the certificates installed in our XI server. The certificate which is currently installed in our XI severer is signed by Verisign. All partners communicating to the XI server use the certificate to digitally sign the message. In XI server we have configured communication channels to receive process the signed message and also to deliver digitally signed message to partners. The validity of the current certificate installed in our system is going to end by the end of Feb. We are looking at renewing the certificate before the expiry date so that there will not be any interruption in partner communication. In this regard, please provide your inputs to the following items
    1. Should the existing CSR be sent to the CA for validity extension or a new CSR to be generated
    2. During certificate renewal, can the existing private/public key be retained for the renewed certificate
    3. Can we have the old certificate installed in the XI server along with the newly renewed certificate, so that the partners can be gradually migrated
    4. Is XI server restart required after certificate installation/upgrade
    We have referred the SAP Note 694290 for Verisign certificate renewal

    We are using automatic distribution of maintenance certificates by SAP Solution Manager.
    We are ok with prerequisites ( back. jobs , system data , SDCCN jobs etc.) but maintenance certificate is not being applied to the satellite systems.
    report RAGS_MK_DISPLAY_FILE does not list down systems and neighter I can see maintenance cert. in SAP support portal.
    Can somebody provide hint.

    ==> That means, SolMan has not requested successfully Maintenance Certificates.
    Hints for trouble shooting:
    - check log of job REFRESH_ADMIN_DATA_FROM_SUPPORT
    - check whether these SAP Note have been already applied. Both SAP Notes are linked in troubleshooting note.

  • Cisco ISE Admin and EAP certificate renewal

    Hi board,
    maybe I'm asking a rather dumb question here, but anyway :)
    I'm currently thinking about how to renew an admin/EAP certificate on an ISE node and the effect on the endpoint authentication.
    Here's the thing I do, when I initially install an ISE node
    1.) CSR creation on ISE (PAN) - CN=$FQDN$ and SAN="fqdn as well"
    2.) Sign CSR and bind certificate on ISE node - done
    Now after 10 month or so (if the certificate is valid for one year) I want to renew the ISE admin/EAP certificate.
    CSR creation: I cannot use the $FQDN$ as the CN, because there is still the current certificate (CN must be unique in the store, right?)
    So what to do now? Do I really need to create a temporary SSC and make it the admin/EAP certificate, delete the current certificate and then create a new CSR? There must be a better and more important non-disruptive way of doing this.
    How do you guys do this in your deployments?

    you can install a new certificate on the ISE before it is active, Cisco recommends that you install the new certificate before the old certificate expires. This overlap period between the old certificate expiration date and the new certificate start date gives you time to renew certificates and plan their installation with little or no downtime. Once the new certificate enters its valid date range, enable the EAP and/or HTTPS protocol. Remember, if you enable HTTPS, there will be a service restart

  • Maintenance Certificate missed in license type

    Hello everyone,
    We are in the middle of the upgrade to our BW landscape from 3.5 to 7.01. After I upgraded our BWT system today and ready to apply support packages, as usual I go to apply maintenace certificate according to SAP's instruction on "How to Request a Maintenace Certificate manually through SAP support Portal". I found NO "maintenance certificate" under license type, only have "standard and Java" license type. It is very strange since I just applied "maintenance cerfiticate" on 5/15/2009 when I update support package for my BW sandbox (BWS)! Not sure why it is no longer there? Have you guys experience the same? And how can I get my maintenance certificate for my BWT system so I can move forward with my support package update?

    What kesavan   has mentioned above is perfect for manually applying the Maintainance certificates.
    These certificates can be made to automatically distribute across the systems in the landscape.

    When will a Maintenance Certificate be required by SAP's software logistics tools?*
    Maintenance Certificate will be required for all customers as of January '09.
    Details:
    As of SPAM/SAINT- version 0034 the Maintenance Certificate will be required to import support packages. SPAM/SAINT- version 0034 will be released in January u201909.
    All support packages released in 2008 can be applied using a SPAM/SAINT- version prior to version 0034 and therefore do not require a Maintenance Certificate. Hence, when using SPAM/SAINT- version 0034 or higher version, all support packages require a valid Maintenance Certificate in order to be imported.
    Java support packages (imported using JSPM) will require a Maintenance Certificate in the near future. Currently a warning is displayed.
    Which version of SAP Solution Manager will be required to benefit from automatic deployment of Maintenance Certificates?
    SAP Solution Manager 7.0 SP 16 will be required to benefit from automatic deployment.

    I want to activate Automatic Maintenance Certificate via solution manager to my satellite systems
    Solution Manager is 7.01 at SPS23
    Satellite systems are all on Netweaver 7.01 SPS06
    Right now, Solution Manager receives automatically the maintenance certificate.
    Unfortunately, my satellite systems do not receive it.
    on my satellite system (PRD - ECC 6.04), in SDCCN, I see that job "Maintenance Package" shows these messages:
    Maintenance Package completed
    Updating license data completed from destination  [Maintenance Package]
    No active master Solution Manager destination maintained. [Maintenance Package]
    Updating license data not possible [Maintenance Package]
    note that I reviewed completely SAP note 1280664 to no avail.

    This is exactly the solution.
    I finally also found another solution from http://forums.sdn.sap.com/post!reply.jspa?messageID=9122507#9122507
    In managed system, goto SDCCN, browse through the menu options to reach task specific settings and then edit the RFC destination settings.
    In RFC settings you get to see RFC of SM system.
    Make the SM destination as master destination. Tick the Master checkox.

  • Customizing Certificate Renewal

    We are developing system that makes use of Certificate Server. But, only our system is visible form the Internet,
    CS is hidden behind the firewall.
    We've developed a solution, that makes it possible to request for certificate from our system, then forwards the request to CS, and vice versa, we fetch the page which installs the certificate and forwards it to end-user.
    But, when talking about renewal, we have a problem.
    CS interface for certificate renewal expects, that user legitimates with its expiring (or expired) certificate and then
    CS regenerates new certificate (with validity customized via console) and installs it on client browser.
    We expected similar functionality as with requesting for certificate. User fills out the request, sends it to CS, and admin after checking issues the certificate. More, the admin is responsible for renewing the certificate, not the user, as in previous scenario.
    Also, authenticating with client certificate makes it impossible to forward the request and response by us (we cannot fetch the certificate from the user browser to use it for communication with CS)...
    Maybe some of You have solution that satisfies our needs?
    Maybe CS has another interface, which we didn't explore, allowing certificate renewal without presenting user certificate.
    Or you developed your own, custom solution, that can be suitable for us...

    You have to create certificate request(CSR) from the same instance on which you are trying to install the certificate.
    You need to copy the production server's *.dbs in <ws-install-dir>/https-<instance>/config and run a pull-config --force command to pull the changes into Admin Server.
    If you use WS7.0 Admin Server for certificate renewal, AFAIK a new set of private and public key is generated.

    I have recently installed ERP6,EHP1 on Linux with DB29.7 for our Sandbox env'.
    I am trying to update the SAP patche level for ABAP and BASIS from release-701,level03,patch SAPKA/B70103 to  SAPKA/B70106.
    My current SPAM level is 7.01/39. When I am trying to calculate the queue after display/define, it thorws an error as follows..
    "SAPKB70104 No queue calculation because of a missing maintenance certificate "
    My question, as I am using the latest SPAM version..still do I need to have the maintanance certificate in place...?
    Pls help me in this regard

    the fact of running the last/next-to-last version of SPAM is not directly related to the error you're facing.
    Besides note #1240265 that Karan Singh suggested, you can request a Maintenance Certificate manually through the SAP Support Portal.
