Maintenance Group for Promotions - Campaing (TPM)

Hi,
I configured CRM TPM for promotions integrated with R/3. I transferred conditions tables for pricing, rebates, free goods and product determination from R/3 through BDOCS to CRM.
Configuration guide indicate I need to Assign Condition Maintenance Group to TPM. I try assign Maintenance Group transferred from R/3, but in tx CRM_MKTPL I haved a dump.
I try to create a new maintenance group in CRM which assigned conditions tables transferred from R/3, but in Tx CRM_MKTPL, in tab Discounts for match code Condition Type is empty, however condition maintenance group had condition type for condition tables transferred from R/3.
What is wrong in this configuration?

there is a step missing!!!
You should fill in R3 the table MNTCNT with the condition type/tables you wanna use in CRM. Go in the IMG under integration with other component>CRM> don't remember...
Then you should download the customizing and you get the expected result.

Hi Jajati,
you can use the Maitenance Group to define the fields you have to maintain. Therefore, create a maintenance group in transaction WRFMGROUP. Add the needed Field Groups to the maintenance group - the field group contains the article master fields you can fill when using this maintenance group.
As far as I know, you can use the maintenance group in transaction WRFMATBODY after releasing the article in transaction WRFAPC11. I'm not sure, if you can use the maintenance group in the releasing process. In transaction WRFMATBODY, you can the fill in all the fields assigned to the field group.

You can add to an existing function group, there's nothing technically to stop you doing this. However, consider that this is creating generated function modules in this function group and you would be wise to avoid using a function group containing manually created modules.
I personally always create a new function group, using the name of the table as the name of the function group.

Table - KONA (Rebate Agreements)
Field - KNUMA (Agreement (various conditions grouped together))
Structure - RV13A (Input/Output Fields for Price Element Maintenance)
Field - KNUMA_PI (Promotion)
And if you want based on particular customer..
Table - KOTE003 (Customer)
Field - KNUMA (Agreement (various conditions grouped together))
Table - KOTE004 (Customer Hierarchy)
Field - KNUMA (Agreement (various conditions grouped together))

Problem in creating table maintenance generator for 61 fields in table

Hi Experts,
I am facing problem in creating a table maintenance genarator for a ZTABLE which has 61 fields
i am using below details whicle creating the TMG
in Maintenance screen
i am giving maintenance type as two step
Maint screen no overview screen 2
 single screen 3
Dialog Data Transport details
Recording routine standard recording routine
but it is giving following error
screen SAPL<ZTABLE NAME> 0003 could not be generated
In DYNPFIELD_ATTR mandatory field LINE has no value
please let me know how to sort out these errors.
Is there any limit on the number of fields for which we can create table maintenance generetor.

Hi Sudipto,
There is not limit to the number of fields of the Table which can be used in TMG for generation. But, from the usability point of view this will horrible.
I created a Z table and added 64 fields and was able to generate the TMG with the screens perfectly. So, I guess there should not be any problem.
Well, have a look at the Function Group. I guess the screen numbers are already used by some other screens. You can set the system to propose freely available screen numbers from the pool.
Also, check whether proper authorization is assigned or not.
And if nothing is working, you can degenerate all the generated screens and then can have a new regeneration of it.

We have a lots of queries on table maintainance creation in the forum posted and replied to.Pls have a look at it first.
In se11 -> change mode of the ztable -> goto -> utilities -> table maintainance generator -> click on it...
it will give a new screen-> enter the required details like function group , authorisation(use &NC& or leave it blank if you dont know) and screens
2 step and 1 step means=> number of screens displayed in maintainace
if step1 is selected then we have a screen which will be like a table control for data entry.........
for step2 we have a table control screen and a more detailed individual field display as second screen
click on the button 'find screen numbers' so that system automatically proposes the screen numbers
after which click on the "create" button and follow the required instructions/messages
once done go to SM30 enter the table name to check if maintainance has been created properly

Authorizaton Group for MB51

We want to limit users to only seeing movements for a custom material type ZRSA. . There are 5 storage locations currently that we have for Maintenance and that authorization object M_MSEG_LGO is set to those types.
I went in transaction SU24 (maintain the assignments of authorization objects) and set the
check indicator to include object M_MATE_MAR (Material Master: Material
Types ) for MB51 meaning an authorization check will be carred out against this
object in MB51. This was needed to limit users with this role to
seeing only ZRSA material types. How and where do we create the Authorization group for BEGRU to bec checked in auth object M_MATE_MAR? Is this even possible.
Also how can you create an entry into table TMBG (Material Master authorization groups)?

IS Retail - Maintenance groups usage

In the version ECC 6.0, I tried to use the functionality of maintenance groups to change/modify article master data for a group of articles.
I created a maintenance group using the transaction WRFMGROUP - Manage Maintenance Groups, under the category of 'Cross-Application' with a bunch of field groups. I wanted to pull up the same maintenance group and do a mass change on this for a group of articles.
Hence used the transaction WRFMASSMAT - Integrated Mass Change. In this transaction when I tried to select the maintenance group using F4, only the category folders under the hierarchy were seen, like Cross-Application, Application-Specific and Template, the maintenance group created by me under these categories were not visible.
i) Is there any particular setting to activate these maintenance groups?
ii) How do I get to choose the maintenance group created to perform a mass change?

I didnt get that , can you please explain if both the scenario is possible by percentage off or free goods or both.

-->Goto transcation SE11 ABAP Dictionary
-->Select View and type in the name of the view you want to create.
-->Press the Create button
-->In the dialog box that appears, choose Maintenance View
-->Select tables and fields for the view
-->Activate the view
or
-->Create view in SE11
-->Goto transcation SE11 ABAP Dictionary
-->enter table name
-->go to Utilities
-->select table maintainance Genarator
-->Enter single step
--> enter Function Group(all the code for Table mainaitenace is stored here)
-->eneter single step
-->enter Authorization gorup(we can restrict some user,s not tot update data)
Activate the view
function Group -->goto se37 -- > menu bar goto->create function group with five letters ..
add the same function group in table maintainenece generatoror enter the sane table name in Function group Place..
if you dont know the Authorization group ( not given by Function design) put &NA&
or if you want to know the maintainence View already exists go to table TSTCV
enter Table name you can get the view available for the table name..

No provisioning of User Group for authorization field in user master

We are implementing CUP 5.3 workflows. Both in manual proviosing and automated provisioning based on User Defaults the user group gets only provisioned to the Groups tab in SU01. The field User Group for authorization on the Logon data tab remains empty (field CLASS from system table USLOGOND, filling CLASS field in table USR02).
In User defaults both under user default as on the user group tab the user groups have been defined. In manual provisioning the correct list of user groups get displayed for selection.
Under field mapping in the Application field I only find User Group in user master maintenance, but not User group for authorization. However I would assume I do not need to use field mapping, as I want to automate this provisioning based on user defaults.
Am I missing a configuration setting here? If so, where can I set it?
I would assume the provisioning of this field is possible. RAR reports the user group also based on the User group for auhtorization and not from the Groups tab.

I can assure you that what I said in my last response does provision the User Group For Authorization Check on the Logon Data tab; in fact, I was having the opposite issue where the Group tab was not being provisioned; however, I am ruunning AE 5.2 and you said you are running 5.3; maybe something did change or got lost in the releases; it probably is good to see what SAP has to say about this; I would hate to lose this capapbility when I upgrade to AE 5.3
As far as using the custom field for multiple applications, would that field not be usable for any of the applications you would select in the request form?; if you are using the same table names in the different SAP systems (selectable by the application field on the request) would the drop down selections be whatever the table has defined for that system? I may not be understanding something here so I am just asking;
It would be great to have a Group field automatically filled in by another selection to avoid the user involvement; I agree with you there; because of our concerns on users entering the AE request, our shop has decided to continue with the users submitting the request through normal email and the security administrators perform the AE entering; this way we have a better idea on something like the GROUP field; we have an option to include the original email as an attachment for justification of the request

Maintenance Dialog for V_T7INDA_OFFGRP does not exist

I have tried to enter the values in the view V_T7INDA_OFFGRP, but I am
getting a message, that 'Maintenance Dialog for V_T7INDA_OFFGRP does
not exist'.
When I went to se54 to create the Maintenance Dialog, I am not able to
see the View V_T7INDA_OFFGRP in the funtion group HRPBSINDA_DDIC.
Can you please help me how I can creat the Maintenance Dialog for this
view.

Procedure compiles OK if I replace
SELECT hsecs INTO pseudoRandomSeed FROM V$TIMER;
by
pseudoRandomSeed := DBMS_UTILITY.GET_TIME;
I still would like to understand the reason of the error as why the procedure cannot compile with SELECT hsecs INTO pseudoRandomSeed FROM V$TIMER;

Function Group are not assigned to tables... Function Group are assigned to Maintenance Views .. since no standard maintenance view exist for this table...
So no function group is associated...
You can create table maintenance for this table and assign any Z- Function Group u like..

How to transport Authorize Function Group for a table

Hi, Expert,
I created a customize table ZF304 with Authorization Group ZFIG in development environment.   Somehow, the ZFIG did not transprot to QA. The Authorization Group for table ZF034 in QA show: &NC&
I need retransport the ZF304 table with ZFIG to QA.   When I use the SE54 > Utilities > Total Transport, the ZFIG did not show in the object list.
Is it necessay that the ZFIG need specific in the transport? or it is already include int eh ZF304 transport?
In other word, how to make the QA Authorization Group show 'ZFIG' in stead of '&NC&'. How to do the transport in RD0 to make this happen.

Check if you have an entry in the transport request as depicted below:

If not then please add it in your task.

Give Authorisation Grp and Funct Group.
Single Step
Provide Screen No.
Then Assigning the tCODe.
Se93.
In this U shud give TABLE VIEW : TABLE NAME.

Go to SE11, give the table name and click on change. Then Go to utilities--> Table
maintenance generator.
In the table maintenance generator screen, we should give Authorization Group,
Function Group name (Function Group name can be same as table name),
Maintenance type can be one step or two step, usually we will create with one
step. we should give maintenance screen number. After clicking on create button,
a table maintenance generator will be created.
To check it go to SM30 . In SM30, we find display, Maintain options.
We can view the table contents by choosing Display and we can create table
entries by choosing Maintain.
