Maintenance Orders based in measurement documents
Hi SAP Gurus,
I need to plan PM Orders based on measurement documents.
Imagine that I have a device to record temperature. The normal tempure is 25ºC. What I wan't is to open Maintence Orders when the temperute changes to 26ºC or 24ºC.
Now, in order to do this I cannot make a counter, only a measurement document, because I want to keep a record from temperetures.
But the problem is that if I record this as a measurement document, and not as a counter, I cannot make Single Cycle Plans....
Can you help me?

IMRC0001 - this user exit will help u to create a notification.. once the measurement docs are apdated...
Normally.. it was useful for counter based measurement... since.. once the running hours are entered a notification is created and corresponding u can create a order...check out.. if it can be used to measurement point...i hope it should be used...

With help of general Modifier in combination of valuation class you can assign GL as per your wish for offset posting incase of GI to order/anything
Example
Transaction key-GBB
General modification- VBR
Valuaction Class - checked
Dr/CR- checked
Assign the general modifier to T code MIGO , through OMJJ

Dear experts,
How to create a maintenance order based upon a notification, using the POWL for notifications ?
I am using NWBC and would like to create a maintenance order, based upon a notification put in process.
In R/3, this works fine using transaction IW22 / IW28 and all info from the noticiation is copied in the new order.
How can I get the same functionality using the role SAP_BPR_MAINTENANCE_TECH_12 ?

You should be able to select the Notification number from the POWL overview list and choose the "Create Order" push button on the Tollbar (along with display notification, change notification etc).
What i have noticed is that once you are inside the notification from the Portal application, the create Order push button or functionality doesn't seem to exists. This is probably incomplete functionality taking into consideration the standard IW22 transaction /Or a Bug and maybe you could raise a OSS Note for the same.

Reservation list - Maintenance Orders
Dear Experts,
Is it possible to get the list of reservations which are created from Maintenance Orders based on the created date? ( not Requirement Date)
I want to list down the reservations created against Maintenance orders on a given date.
I checked MB24 / MB25 which is having Requirement Date not Creation date.
Please advice a standard report.

I do not think you will get any such report where Reservation Creation date is available. Even if you want to develop a report with the help of tables, this too is difficult, because no such table holding this field is seen. If someone succeeds to develop such report, he must have used tables for change documents. (JCDS, CDHDR, CDPOS etc)

When i am setling the plant maintenance orders. A controling document is being posted, i think this is not correct. please explain whats is wrong. I have one activity type MAINT which is being used by Product cost collector and Maintenance orders. This is assinged to Maintenance cost center and Productive cost collectors.
KSS2 - cost splliting for Maintenance cost center 20170
KSII - Activity price calculation for Maintenance cost center 20170
KOn1- Revaluation of maintenance orders
KO88 - Maintenance order settlement.
Following CO document is being posted.
a) 20014 (Production cost center Dr) $ 100 = Maintenance order CR $ 100
b) 20170 (Maintenance cost center Dr) $ 100 = 20014 (Production cost center CR) US$ 100.
I think (b) is wrong, because $ 100 balance showing on 20170 (Maintenance cost center) ksb1 report against 804030 (internal activity cost element catgory 43).
Resultantly when I run KSS2 for production cost center 20014 this varianc amount splitted for all four activity types because 804030 is not included in No Splitting element group and it should not be as well.

you can use FM SWB_CHECK_FB_START_COND_EVAL as a basis to make your own.
Basically, if a raise occurs in this FM, it won't trigger the Workfloe.

Multiple doc type setting for service PR generated from Maintenance order
Hi Gurus,
My client has multiple company code and has different document type for PR and PO as per the company code. For generating the service PR from maintenance order system take the document type of PR defined in the config.
Is it possible to define multiple document type for service PR depend on the company code/ Plant level?

I used the User Exit COZF0001 . Since we can assign only one PR doc type in the config .
I have assigned one PR doc type in configuration which will work for a company code and all their respective plant. So in this case user exit wont do any job for changing the doc type.
You will defined a condition in the User exit saying that if company code /plant which you get it from maintenance order is not same (Config ) then provide the PR doc type which you want to create for respect plant or company code.
I dont have coding right now with me. You need a small coding to be done to create the separate PR doc type in EBAN-BSART
with respect to plant . Check in your configuration at what point of time you are creating the PR either in saving or release of MO. You can take the even to activate the User exit.
Consult your ABAPer they can do in 10 min.

i think you cannot achevie this with Standard SAP, you can make use of customer exit to enhance the releasing of order,other way is by indirectly ,ie create permits with classification as Planned cost specify the amount which will reject the relase of order saying permits are to be issued,and also you can assign the roles for the user for displaying the permits ,forbidding the issue of permits

Error while creating measurment documents for a counter (counter based strategy Plan)
Dear Experts
Pl suggest the possible solution for below case
I have a counter based preventive maintenance Plan of 100km, 200km,..... with op1,op2,..... respectively.
Now I have done maintenance for 600 km and going to enter another reading in IK11.
Here, system is giving error
Counter reading in doc. 251591 larger than in subsequent doc. 251585
Message no. IR171
Diagnosis
No counter overflow reading has been defined for the measuring point, and the counter reading that you have entered is larger than the one in the subsequent measurement document.
This is not allowed, since the counter is not marked as running backwards.
System Response
Processing will not be continued.
Procedure
Check your entries and the counter data of the measuring point.

How to connect measurement document to work order number
Hi Experts,
I have created a Measurement Document based on a Measuring Point. When I take a look at the list of Measurement Documents, the Order number is always blank.
Is there somewhere in IK11/IK12 where I can see the Order Number reference for that Measurement Document or Measuring Point?

I have one more query, we can create the measuring point using the t.code IK01.As you told we have to create the measuring point with upper and lower range.
Is that we have to create 2 measuring point for upper as well as lower range or in one measuring point it is possible to accumulate both the upper and lower range.

No update trigger from order based invoices to customs documents
Dear all,
I need your help with the following problem:
In our feeder system we use an invoice type which could be used for deliveries and also for orders.
If I create an delivery based invoice in the feeder system a customs document is created in GTS.
If I cancel this delivery based invoice an update triggers the GTS system and the customs document will also be canceled. This process works quite nice.
Now I create an order based invoice (the same invoice type as delivery based) and a customs document is created in GTS - fine.
But,
If I cancel this order based invoice no update triggers the GTS system. The customs document will not be canceled. That`s wrong.
I have no idea what could be the error. All position types are available and what I mentioned before the invoice type is the same.
Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance.

Link between Maintenance plan and measuring document

Is there a way to find out if a measuring document exists for a maintenance plan? IMRG has the measuring document information, but I could not find any link to the maintenance plan. Similarly, in table MPLA/MPOS, I could not find anything. Please help.Greetings Srinivas,
Look in table MMPT, field MMPT-POINT. This will provide you with a link to the table IMRG on IMRG-POINT. If entries exist in IMRG, they correspond to Measurement Documents for that Point.
When displaying the Maintenance Plan in IP03 for example, you can view the Measurement Documents easily using the "Counter Information" icon. -
Delete assignment of work approval document to Maintenance Order

In wcm(enhanced model), I have created and assigned one work approval to Maintenance order.
Now I am not able to delete the assignment to the maintenance order. I have checked both the cases when work approval is set as prepared and also when it is not set as prepared.
Is there any possibility..
