Major bug: iPhone 5S doesn't switch back to 4G after a phone call next post

I already tried that and didn't work.

I haven't heard of anyone having that issue before, that is pretty odd. I would try checking for carrier setting updates, go to: Settings>General>About then if there is an update available it will prompt you to install it. If that does not work try Reseting network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
Note: If you reset your network settings it WILL disconnect you from your Wi Fi routers and bluetooth devices and you will need to reconnect to them, but no data will be erased.

    Click set up as a new iPhone. It will associate the device with your library without clearing the content that you have already loaded onto it.

  • Iphone 4 doesn't switch on cellular data after ios 7.1.1 upgrade

    I have noticed couple of issues after upgrading to ios 7.1.1 on my iphone4.
    1. Slide option to answer call becomes un-responsive sometimes.
    2.Once we enable Cellular data option, its not getting connected to cellular network for browsing, but if we restart iphone, it gets connected.
    Does anyone experience this issue with iphone 4(7.1.1) , please let me know how to fix this issue.

  • ITunes doesn't return to full volume after a phone call

    At work I use iTunes on a 32-bit Windows 7 machine.  We use Microsoft Lync for phone calls.
    My settings are set so that Windows reduces the volume of applications by 80% when I have a phone call.  This works just fine.  If I leave the music playing during the call, then when I finish the call, it will return to the normal volume.
    However, if I pause iTunes during the call, then the volume does not return to normal, and I have to use the volume mixer to fix it.  Is there a solution to this?

    Anyone have any thoughts on this?

    Hey! My iPhone 4S is rapidly switching back and forth from wifi to 4G. It will remain connected to wifi for about 10 seconds and switch to 4G for half a second. Then the cycle repeats. It's definitely been a drain on my battery. I've already switched wifi off and on, reset network connections on the phone, and rebooted my wifi and router. None of these have helped. When wifi is off, the 4G works fine. The wifi works in other locations, but my home network is not working. However, all other wireless devices in my home are working fine. Seems like a problem between my phone and the wifi. 

    Everything you've mentioned points to an issue with the home Wi-Fi.
    Try forgetting the connection in Settings > Wi-Fi.
    Restart the device and then connect to the Wi-Fi.

    All warranty issues including manufacturing defects, are determined and handled by the Apple Genius. If your iPhone has any problem, contact Apple and they will solve the issue.
    "deep thin scratch on the antenna in a straight line starting from the charging point to the speakers"..... The only thing between the charging port and the speakers is a small screw on both sides of the port?

    Appart from the non indefferent fact that is becoming just like that other giant microsoft and it took me 20 minutes to get everything settled before i could actually ask a **** question which by chance arose from the fact that i was wasting time not being able to access some login page i usually can access from my ipad2. The problem seams to be the new ios6 which i fullheartly installed but appart from the everchanging funcionalities that are fine when you are a teen but are a nuisance when you have little time there seam to be changed under the hood to that dont allow for the normal use i make of the internet.
    Question: is it possible to switch back to IOS5 after having installed IOS6? How long can the proccess be ? Will it have any other magic apple effect?
    Ps: im starting to think that other guy microsoft was not that much of an evil money making babylonlike creature. Maybe is just the scale of success that turns friendly companies to anonymous "robbers".

    My iphone 4s suicided   after some problems with recharging process (it restarted few times by itself as soon as I plugged its USB cable) it began to recharge last night. So I went to bed but this morning when i woke up, it was incredibly hot and the battery indicator was red as the battery was low. Low battery after a whole night?
    I tried to recharge with a different cable but there's nothing to do. It becomes HOT, it doesn't start, the boot apple appears and stucks at the boot session. The last time it restarted two or three times, it was HOT HOT HOT, the apple logo disappeared , my phone became cold as it has  never been used before and now it doesn't switch on...  I tried to switch it on pressing HOME+POWER etc etc, but without success.
    Is it dead?
    If I take it to an apple store, would they replace my iphone 4s 16gb with another 4s 16gb or not? 16gb models are not available anymore. 8gb only...

    Fortunately on Monday I took a look at the receipt (just in time!!), discovering that warranty service was available until 03/04/2014, today! So i went at store and I gave the man who was there my phone. Now I've to wait about 20gg to have my phone back, repaired or replaced.

  • C5 doesn't switch back from energy save modus when...

    When the battery is low the c5 auto switch to energy save modus. When you charge the phone it normally switches back to regular modus. Now it is only possible when I reset it to factory settings each time. The problem started after the last update. Does anybody have the same problem? Or does anyone know how I can do this manually.

    Fantasy thank you for response. I wonder if someone from BlackBerry is actually working on solving this. Another Z10 user said he was able to avoid the battery pull by just turning wifi off when he went out of wifi coverage. I haven't personally tried this solution though.

    And that's exactly the problem, because everyone should have their own account for iCloud. You can share an Apple ID for iTunes & App Store purchases, but you shouldn't do that for iCloud (Mail, Calendar, Contacts etc. ... ...and Photos). The problem of using the same account together could mean that only your dad's photos were stored.

    I have had my iphone 3GS back to vodafone after I could not make calls, kept saying call failed!. I did all the troubleshooting tips, was okay for a short time, then shortly started doing same thing.I took it back to the store and on that occasion the assistant took the phone out of the protective cover i always had it in  to replace the simcard in case it was this that was causing the problem ,then he dropped it onto the shops wooden floor and it bounced, he picked it up & went bright red & kept apologising , I then said if I have any more problems with it then I will come back & see him & he said yes. Shortly after I noticed the sim cover on top of phone was missing but i could see the simcard inside, so I returned to the store & informed them of this, i was advised by the earlier assistant 'Craig' that he thought that the sim tray was underneath the simcard which he then removed the simcard, then advised me he didn't want to go poking about in it in case it was inside and he would send the phone to be repaired & gave me a replacement phone until mine was back. I waited approx 2 weeks before receiving a call from Vodafone saying they would repair it if I payed over £100! as it was not covered under my insurance,  I informed them the assistant dropped the phone in store and then i noticed the problem & was then told they would investigate this and call back, 10 minutes later they called back to say it would be a free repair. Since the repair I have had nothing but trouble with the phone crashing when I access apps , sticking on the hangup screen with in & out going calls for approx 10 minutes or more, when I turn phone on the Apple logo stays on the screen for long periods off time. When I access my music the track will change part way through to another track & also sometimes refusing to charge. I am fed up with going back & forth to the store which is quite a distance from my home & the phone has more problems since it was ''dropped'' & then ''repaired'' & I am at a loss of what to do. I feel I have been treated unfairly and gone along with all Vodafone asked of me. Please could someone from Apple help me!!!

    The steps you already took were the correct ones - reset, restore from backup, restore as new phone. You could always try them again, but a Restore with set up as new is the 'ulitmate' troubleshooter - if that doesn't correct the issue, it's usually time for a replacement phone. Unfortunately, you've learned a hard lesson there, although I don't see how Apple screwed you - it's no secret that the iPhone warranty is valid only in the country of original purchase (as a little research on your part would have shown).
    See how much money you saved with your eBay purchase? Next time buy the phone from Apple or an authorized UK carrier.

  • IPhone 3G OS 3.0 (not able to start / receive phone calls)

    Since I've updated to iPhone OS 3.0 I can't make phone calls via the "normal" cellular network. When my iPhone is on the 3G network everything works fine.
    When my iPhone is on the "normal" cellular network with full signal and I try to make a phone call I get the "call failed" message after 10 to 20 seconds.
    When the iPhone shows it's connected to my provider via the "normal" cellular network and people try to call me they reach the voice mail
    Sometimes I can make a phone call via the "normal" cellular network and then after a couple of minutes the connection got lost and I get the "call failed" message.
    Sometimes I can make a phone call via the "normal" cellular network and then after a couple of minutes I can hear the other side of the connection but they can't hear me anymore.

    I tried to restore the phone now for a couple of times without restoring the backup but nothing seems the solve this issue. I tried with different SIM cards (iPhone is sim-lock free, Belgium iPhone) but all with the same issues. At this time I don't use the iPhone anymore and switched back to my old phone "Sony Ericsson K750i" because otherwise I want be able to receive phone calls when I'm in a area where there isn't any 3G network available.
    Apple please fix this issue, I've got my iPhone for the "Phone" part, not the "i" part.

    I have exactly the same problem with my Q-Three and 3GS 3.0. I haven't found a solution. Motorola bluetooth works fine. Previously used the Q-Three with a Samsung T919 without issue. Looks like a compatibility issue. Lots of problems posted in the blogs with iPhone and Bluetooth... If you figured it out, please let me know. Thanks.

    Have a Google voice number? Is your wife calling that number? Call screening turned on for your Google Voice number?
