  • Lost SMS Icon and get error message Uncaught exception Index 20 = 20

    Dear All
I have lost my SMS Icon and looking at previous forums have carried out the following techniques which do not work
    1. I have gone to Messages - Options - SmS & Email Inboxes - Seperate but this does not solve anything
Within this step i have switched off phone taken out battery etc...
    2. I have gone to Applications - menu - "show all" but my SMS icon cannot be found
Just to note even when i go to Messages - View Folder - SMS Inbox .....i get the error message again
    Uncaught exception Index 20 > = 20
Anyone able to help ? Would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

You may have already figured out your fix - but yesterday I went thru the same thing with my son's phone.  Overnight he lost his SMS & MMS Icon and was receiving Uncaught Exception Index 28 >= 28.  I called Verizon Tech Support and was told there was a corrupt file in the calendar.
We backed up the phone using the Desktop Manager - performed a security wipe and restored his phone.
His phone is back up and running as it should be.  Hope this helps.

  • Uncaught expectation index 5 5

Hai there is any body can help me ?
    When I restarted my  , I got a message : uncaught expectation index..
I don't know what that mean , help me please

    Hi there!
There's pretty much no diagnosing those -- they are the equivalent of the random errors in Windows for which tracing the root cause is fruitless. Basically, these are the last out in the programming code -- some event occurred for which there is no handler in the code. The fix is a code update that handles the event...but, again, knowing what the event is is pretty much impossible. So, there are a few things to try:
Sometimes, the code simply becomes corrupt and needs to be refreshed -- just like a reboot:
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
There might be an updated code set from the carrier -- check them via this portal:
     http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
The toughest possible cause is a badly behaving app. To find it, there are a couple of options. One is to see if you can read the log file:
Go to the home screen. Hold down the key and type 'lglg'. (You will not see anything while you type). This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably many pages) untill you see a line that says 'uncaught execption'. Click on this line. The name of the app will be in the info.
The other method is to remove apps one at a time, waiting a while in between (I usually recommend a week), until the problem ceases...thereby discovering the offending app.
Good luck and let us know!

  • Javascript Error - Uncaught ReferenceError: $s is not defined in ApEx 3.0.1

    Hi,
I am using Oracle ApEx 3.0.1 and am trying to implement the Ajax Loading animation on a report I am running. The problem though, is that I am getting a javascript error on the following line:
window.setTimeout('$s("AjaxLoading",$x("AjaxLoading").innerHTML)', 10);Looks like in Oracle ApEx 3.0.1, I am getting the javascript error:> Uncaught ReferenceError: *$s is not defined*
What would I need to change, to get this to work with no javascript errors in Oracle ApEx version 3.0.1 ?
    Thanks.
    Tony.

    Hi,
It might be that $s function is not introduced on 3.0
    Try
    window.setTimeout('document.getElementById("AjaxLoading").value=document.getElementById("AjaxLoading").HTML)', 10);Regards,

  • Can't open my IBA project: error parasing document index: invalid character in attribute value

    Hi guys,
I am new of iBooks Author and I am not HTML code savvy (expect the very basics). I have to send an iBooks for an University exam and I can't open my file anymore.
I was working on it since Saturday, I saved many times and I have quit the iBooks Author and rebooted my iMac few moments ago. There were no crashes.
The project is a iBook with pictures, videos and some Tumult Hype animations. It is 248Mb.
Now I can't open the file (but I can see it in quick view). The error message is in the subject, but here it is again:
"Progetto iBooks" couldn't be opened. Error parsing document index: invalid character in attribute value.
Now, I have to send the project today (here in Italy it is now 7:10 am) and so I am kind of desperate.
    Any suggestion?
I am already working on making a new ibook, but if someone could give me a workaround to fix it and open it on iBooks I would be extremely grateful.
    Best regards,
    Sebastiano

    Hi Sebastiano,
Did you ever get any answer? I have the same problem and now have to work from an old version again (good thing I had backup one manually!)
    Thx

  • Error in spatial index

    Hi, everyone
I created a spatial index on a table, but i get the error message:
ORA-13033: the data in sdo_elem_info_array of sdo_geometry is unavailable
How can i write a SQL command to delete those unavailable records?

    Hi,
here you find an example with a similar error. You simply can validate the spatial data, to find invalid records:
    DROP   TABLE sdo_test;
    CREATE TABLE sdo_test (

      GEOM     MDSYS.SDO_GEOMETRY);

  • Error ITMS-9000 Index:0, Size: 0

    Hi,
    I've spent 30 days for this "Error ITMS-9000 Index:0, Size: 0".
I made a validation test before I delivered my book package.
    No problem, it's OK.
I think since last update in OS X(March, 2013) this problem started.
Today, after Java and Safari update, the same error.
    Whan can I do?
1 package(s) were not uploaded because they had problems:
    /Users/carllro/Music/iTunes Producer/Playlists/9788999002519.itmsp - Error Messages:
Apple's web service operation was not successful
Unable to authenticate the package: 9788999002519.itmsp
ERROR ITMS-9000: "Index: 0, Size: 0" at Book (MZItmspBookPackage)

After re-initializing, the porblem is solved.
I Would like to share our findings:
The monitoring application includes an embedded Apache Derby database, often referred to as the “trending database”, where monitoring information is stored by default.
Somehow this Apache Derby database database got corrupt: as a reference we checked our TEST environment and every time we restarted SAPBO, there was a file in the derby database named, dbex.lck and db.lck which was refreshed. We assume these ae lock files which is created at startup. But on the development environment, these files weren't refreshed at startup, they were too old.  before re-initializing CMS, we stopped the node, deleted the dbex.lck and db.lck.files, started CMS but there were no dbex.lck and db.lck.files. So, we assumed the Derby database got corrupt.
After re-initializing, the porblem is solved.
    Thank you all
    Cheers

  • Error in renaming indexes (clarification needed)

    Dear All,
I am working on core banking application.
Whe we try to do BOD(begining of day) for the system i.e. taking the system to next business date get the error "Error in renaming indexes on ETD".
ETD is a table name. And this error occurs only on 8th and 14th of every month not on any other date. For basic information while doing BOD system recreate the indexes on daily basis. But , we get this error only on particular date 8th and 14th of every month. Is there any clue , so that we can check the privilege level things on particular date and compare it with other dates..?

    Hi All,
Thanks! I will confirm with my vendor regarding this that why there is a need to recreate the indexes on daily basis.
But I want know same application is doiing same job ver well on another days except the 8th and 14th of every month.
Is there any query so that I can check the privileges assign to user for recreating the indexes on general days (when there is no problem for recreting the indexes)
AND then same query we will execute on 8th day of the month.
Lastly i will compare my script is changing the privilige or not...
ETD is a table name of application (for transaction details..).
And we are using Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.5.0 - 64bit Production.
    Thanks All
    James.
