Major help needed downloading itunes!

hello!
well im new to using itunes, and when i try downloading iTunes, it does "rolling back action" and then says that iTunes need QuickTime. I have quicktime though. So Help? Please & thank in advance!

Are you selecting *Save As...* and then running itunessetup.exe or are you running the installer from the download screen?

help needed with itunes please tryed to move my itunes libary to my external hard drive itunes move ok and runs fin but i have none of my music or apps or anything all my stuff is in the itunes folder on my external hard drive but there is nothing on ituns how do i get it back help,please

(Make sure the Music (top left) library is selected before beginning this.)
If you have bad song links in your library, hilite them and hit the delete button. Then locate the folder(s) where your music is located and drag and drop into the large library window in iTunes ( where your tracks show up). This will force the tunes into iTunes. Before you start, check your preferences in iTunes specifically under the"Advanced" tab, general settings. I prefer that the 1st 2 boxes are unchecked. (Keep iTunes Music folder organized & Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library). They are designed to let iTunes manage your library. I prefer to manage it myself. Suit yourself. If there is a way for iTunes to restore broken links other than locating one song at a time I haven't found it yet. (I wish Apple would fix this, as I have used that feature in other apps.) This is the way I do it and I have approx. 25,000 songs and podcasts and videos at present. Hope this helps.

Holding down the shift key while iTunes is opening. That will bring up the 'choose iTunes library' dialog. Select 'Choose LIbrary' from the choices and navigate to your music folder and iTunes music folder.

NEW IPAD USER - HELP NEEDED RE: ITUNES & ICLOUD

Ok, so, firstly, sorry for what will prob be mundane and often asked questions !! (I have looked on apple support for ipad, but can't seem to find the exact answers to what I want to know!!)
Here goes,
I have a newly purchased ipad 4 (wifi only), and am a bit confused about a few things.
1) I want to put apps, games, music etc onto my ipad, I have downloaded itunes onto my laptop so that I can download apps onto that and then sync to my ipad, but at the risk of using all the memory on my laptop, after I sync ipad to laptop and sync apps across from itunes, can I then delete apps from my laptop to free up memory? Will they completely delete from itunes if I do this?
2) Should I use icloud, and if so, to get apps onto there, do they first have to be in itunes and moved to icloud? And if so, then can they be removed from laptop, again, to free up memory?
3) If I do use icloud (is it recommended??) ......will all the apps I download in itunes and move to icloud be there automatically when I connect to wifi with my ipad after logging in using apple id?

Yes, you cna delete them, and they will be removed from iTunes. However, you can Download Apps directly onto the iPad from the App Store App; also once purchased, Apps can be redownloaded for free from the App Store "cloud" as many time as you want. So if you delete them from iTunes you can always re-download them in the future should you ever need to.

iCloud stores only backups of your device, and files form Apps like Pages, Numbers and Keynote along with your calendars, contacts, etc.. it does not directly sotre Apps or music or movies. You cannot directly transfer Apps to iCloud. However as was said, once purchased any Apps will be available to download from the "cloud", which is slightly different to "iCloud", automatically. They don't take up space in the iCloud account quota though, and can be safely deleted form your computer if you want to.

They'll be there, automatically should you ever decide to delete them form your iPad and need to download them again. Provided of course they continue to be available in the App Store. If they are removed from the App Store, then they will no longer be accessible from the cloud.

Help! Downloaded iTunes 7 and it timed out while downloading an album

I was downloading an album from the iTunes store and iTunes timed out (which it keeps doing ever since I downloaded 7.0). Now I only have half an album and it won't start the download process up again. Please help!
Also, everytime I click on the link for 'movies' iTunes zones out and closes...very frustrating...

Hey yeah I have the same problem! They told me to uninstall all apple products off my PC and reinstall and now I'm running into the same issue while trying to download itunes and everything all over again. I am currently on hold with applecare to try and get a resolution, I will update as soon as I can!

Help needed with iTunes 10.2.2 on Windows 7 (64-bit)

A friend called me asking for help with her iTunes library. She said her music library had disappeared except for one song, which she purchased today. The strange things are:
1) Her music is still located in the same location as it had been, yet her music library was empty (except for the one song she purchased today).
2) Her iTunes music store password appears in the application window title bar, right above the Apple logo.
She's had problems with losing music before, but nothing like this where ALL of her music disappeared (except for the one song she purchased today). What confuses me is her iTunes music store password appearing in the iTunes application window title bar.
She's running Windows 7 Home Premium Edition (64-bit) and is using Itunes 10.2.2 64-bit.
Any ideas on what might have caused this?

We ended up getting iTunes cleanly uninstalled and were able to re-install without issue. All is now mostly well.

Help cant download itunes :(

i have been trying for days to download itunes to my laptop but all has failed.
i have tried deleting the temp folder as apple says but it wont let me.
please someone give me answers it is getting very fustrating
i am usung a 3 usb internet dongle could this be the cause of all this??

Yes, those usb internet dongles have caused this problem for quite a few folks. Yours is the first post from UK I've seen, though. Usually it's Australians.
See if a friend can download itunes for you and put it on a USB stick or burn a CD.
Or go to a free wireless cafe.
Because retrying over & over w/ the dongle is going to use up all the bandwidth you've paid for! It's a 73MB download!

Help - Need download for 6.0.4 for Windows XP

My 6.0.5 upgrade is not working properly and I need to go back to 6.0.4. My 30G video iPod lost over 1000 songs and many of the ones left stop playing prematurely. Everything was working fine until I upgraded. Where can I find the upgrade. Apple does have a site for the 6.0.4, but when you click to download, it automatically sends you to 6.0.5. Anyone else having this problem?? Thanks for any help. I just want to listen to my songs, podcasts, video, etc! I even sent my iPod in to Apple repair, and they returned it with a note saying that nothing was wrong with it. I guess they didn't try to listen to any music on it.

Help, cannot download itunes 7.5 to my XP windows, please help me

Hi, just purchased a new ipod shuffle gen 2 on the weekend. Have tried numerous times to download i tunes 7.5 but it keeps coming up with error message, itunes75setup.exe is not a valid win32 application. And it just wont go any further. This is very frustrating as i cant even play my new ipod. does anybody know how to help me??

Try downloading a copy of the installer to a different PC (preferably one in which an iTunes 7.5 install has already gone through successfully).
burn the iTunes75Setup.exe (installer) file to a CD-R (or copy it to an external harddrive, and carry the CD or ExHD back to your PC. Copy the iTunes75Setup.exe to your desktop (don't try to run the install from the exHD or CD), and then try starting the install by doubleclicking the iTunes75Setup.exe on the desktop.
Does that go through any better?

RH9 Crashing When Generating WebHelp - MAJOR Help Needed

Hello,
Our software release date is next Thursday, August 18th, so I'm a bit panicky. What's happening has never happened before. Every time I try to generate WebHelp, RH9 crashes while "Updating Files". There are two of us working on the project...maybe something has gotten messed up? Can anyone tell me what I should check, or what I should do? Below is a screenshot of the error, as well as the error report itself.
In the above screenshot, you can see the Output View at the bottom of the window, and the crash happens during "Updating files..." Does anyone know what this means? I REALLY need help. If I can't get this figured out, we're in major trouble - possibly no Help released for our product. A trillion thanks in advance for anyone who can help.

Has this project ever compiled correctly, either in RH9 or another version?
Is this a new installation of RH9?
Can you generate any RH project. Try generating one of the supplied dummy projects (e.g. SalesBuilder)?
Can you generate any other output formats from this project (e.g. CHM)?
Have you tried creating a new WebHelp SSL?
If none of this works, perhaps you can post some more details of what exactly has changed since the last successful generation.

Help needed. Itunes account cannot be verified. Need to sync iPhone 3G.

I created an account last Wednesday and verified my account using my e-mail address many times. However, I am not able to log in and iTunes keep on saying I have to verify my account.
Already contacted apple support group with Track ID 8352210. Though I have not received any reply from them after I replied to them with the information needed.
It's been 4 days now and I really need to download applications on my Iphone 3g since it is such a useless brick compared to other competing cellphones in the market.
Hope I could utilize my gadget soon.

Thanks, I turned genius off and now I can actually sync my phone! I was really excited about genius though . When I tried to turn on genius again (to see if it would work this time) it gives me an error that says: *"Genius results can't be updated right now. An unknown error occurred (-50). Please try again later"*. It works fine when it collects data about my library but it's when it tries to send the info to Apple when it shows me the error. I'm guessing that this is an issue with the itunes servers and not with my PC but we'll see.

WRT350N..Major Help Needed

Ok...I've just about had it with calling Linksys and not getting any help at all. I am trying to connect an external hard drive into the USB port and access it wirelessly. I can not get it to work. When I go to Networks on my computer (I have Vista) I see 2 Linksys WRT350n listed. When I click on one, it asks me for my password. I type it in and it goes to the Linksys set-up page. When I click on the other one, it also asks me for my password...yet it doesn't work. It always changes my username to Fitzgerald-PC/admin and NOTHING is working. A technition with Linksys had the nerve to say that they don't make a router that has a USB capability! UGH! If anyone can help me...I would really appreciate it. Major help need with ipod mini

My ipod mini turns on. The menu appears, however when I click to play music nothing happens, it's frozen at that point. I have reset it, lost my music and tried to download my playlist again and it will not download. Appreciate any advice.

Strange, doing a reset will no erase data in your iPod, but restore does. Suggest that you plug your iPod with your PC and open the iPod updater (u may need to download for the latest version) and do a restore, for further info read the following .. it is really very helpful

Problem installing Creative Suite CS4, major help needed

Basically I need help asap because I uninstalled my previous versions of PS etc to install this and work has to be done.
I installed the "Adobe Creative Suite 4 Master Collection" yesterday without problems, but then something happened to my machine last night which forced me to do a system restore.
I restored and the suite was no longer installed, since then I have had many problems trying to install it again.
It keeps getting up to about 5/8 of the progress bar then it freezes on "Currently installing Adobe Flash Player 10 Plugin". I did have trouble trying to install "Adobe Flash Player 10" before and finally managed to do it, but it's still freezing when installing the suite.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

OK now it's installed, all of the programs work fine except for photoshop.
I did have photoshop cs2 and cs3 previously installed.
I load up "Adobe Photoshop CS4" and it starts loading, it says "initialising" etc and then when it gets to "Building TWAIN menu items" it pops up with the "Adobe Photoshop CS4 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" message window asking me to "Send Error Report".
Any ideas please?

Major Help Needed....

Not exactly sure what is going on. I got an Ipod 40 gb with dock. Plugged into USB and transfered some of my music to my Ipod. Then I added more CD's to my library and even bought one from the apple store total about 150 songs added. When I plug in my Ipod after my computer boots up Itunes starts to load and then freezes everytime. When I try to disconnect the Ipod from my computer, it denies me saying "Device inuse, try again later." Another problem I am experiencing is that either my whole computer locks up when the Ipod is connected to my computer or just the task bar locks up and becomes unuseable. Which I wouldnt mind but my chat programs and other things only run in the back ground and dont have an icon I can alt+tab too.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have reset my computer about 30 times today trying to get it to work...all other programs are closed when I connect my Ipod. System is running around 3-7 % when it is connected.
