Major Nano Problem - Please Help
I have a 1 GB iPod Nano that worked fine when I got it in May 2006. Now, however I have a major problem. I put my iPod on the computer to charge through USB and when it was finished I could not safely remove. Actually, the iPod was not recognized by my computer or iTunes at all and the screen keeps flashing the apple logo and will not turn off until the battery runs down.
Here is what I did to try and fix. Reset and restore. I also tried to put the iPod in disc mode. When I put in disc mode my computer recognizes the iPod and it is shown in iTunes but when I safely remove, the iPod remains in disc mode and I can't get out of disc mode unless I reset and then I am dealing with the flashing appe logo again.
Could someone please help!

I'm thinking that the nano is the cause of the problem and so i "think" tou showld send it back for the cost of it and buy a new 2 gig one.

Okay people, here's a good one for you. On my desktop I have the latest iTunes version, software, and all that jazz. When I hook up my 60GB iPod or my 40GB iPod iTunes locks up and refuses to sync my iPod. I have had this problem for quite a while now. Anyone have any suggestions? Now I have another problem. Since I cannot use my desktop I backed up my 11GB library to 3 DVDs so I can transfer my library to my Sony Vaio laptop. On that laptop I uninstalled iTunes from the C drive and installed the latest 7.3 iTunes on the D drive so I would have enough space. I finished restoring the first disc and then put in the second. A message popped up saying there was not enough room on the C drive for all of the music. What in the ****? I installed on the D drive! So then I looked at the shortcut icon's properties it said it was located on the C drive. I then did the 'explore' thing and it said iTunes was on the D drive. So according to the laptop iTunes is in two different places. Does anybody know what the **** is going on and can you please help me?

My 40GB iPod won't be recognized by the computer or iTunes but i don't really care about that iPod. My 60GB iPod is recognized somewhat but iTunes says something like "the iPod cannot be read... blah blah blah... you should restore your iPod." I am to the point of refusing to restore my iPod because I did that a few weeks ago for my desktop computer and I had to wait a full 36 hours for another non-Apple program to recover the data on my iPod because iTunes wouldn't sink it. No wonder I don't want to restore my iPod. Please someone help me!

Toshiba P305 major hardware problems PLease help
I have a satellite p305. The headphone jack stopped working and the touchpad and click buttons stopped working. I tried updating drivers but nothing changed. The other problem was whenever you had to programs open that produce sound (windows media player and a you tube video or similar) The audio came out staticky. This is not when trying to listen to both players at the same time, one is paused. But if you have both of them open one will be staticky. I tore the computer down to see if there was anything visually wrong with it at the headphone jack or where the click butons and touch pad plug in but found nothing. I put the motherboard back in and put it all back together and plugged it in and pressed the power button. The buttons light up and i think either the hard drive or fan spun but nothing else happened after that. Im thinking bad MOBO but i need some advise because this is a computer that i am working on for someone else and really dont want the whole you broke my computer game to be played.

Symptoms include loss of capture functionality and potential inability to set/retain device capture settings. This hotfix, documented further in Knowledge Base article 825116, has been issued to correct the flaw.
I believe that your SB card is sharing IRQs with your Firewire hardwares thus causing errors. -

The problem is that the playlists only exist on my iPod Touch and I have songs from so many versions of iTunes that I have lost count (my friends and I share songs all the time), therefore if it is all deleted it will be nearly impossible to piece my iPod back together. I have iTunes 10.6.3.25 and I can't find my audiobooks that I downloaded from a library website. The audiobook tab is visible in iTunes but none of the audiobooks are there. They are on my iPod nano. Please help!
When you say they are displaying in your iTunes library, are you talking about the Audiobooks section of your iTunes library and not the audiobooks section indented under the iPod in the left pane of iTunes under Devices?
Is the iPod Shuffle configured to sync audiobooks or do you manually manage the iPod's contents?

Hi, i had the same problem. Try to find the file "apple" or "itunes" don't know it anymore exactly. Ahm well you need to delet any information or just plug in your iphone into an other computer. important is that your iphone never has been pluged in this computer before. This was what i did, and it worked!

This is basically telling the requester at what port to look for the message server.

You should make a mapping for the service sapmsPRD in your /etc/services file (On Windows: C:WINDOWSSYSTEM32DRIVERSETCservices). If your instance number is 00 you will have to add the following entry:

I'm in trouble, my iPod Touch is giving 4th shock when recharge and the battery does not last any more. who knows or has a similar problem, please help me. Note: all this after I downloaded the new version OS5.
I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store because of the shock issue. I doubt it was caused by the update.

Don't worry, just follow these steps to fix iPhone stuck on Apple logo
=> First of all Start your Computer and then connect with Internet connection, now Download the latest version of the iTunes application
=> Now install the iTunes application in your System and connect your Device with computer via Data cable
=> Now connect your Device with iTunes application and then Tab on summary option, see in the left side bar of iTunes

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.
