Make a requistion drop into autocreate pool for a new supplier
Hi we have a requirement identified that if a requisition is over a certain amount (£250) and it has been raised against an existing supplier for it to drop into the autocreate pool and not be sent out to the supplier isntantly.
i had an idea of creating a CPA with a approved limit of 250 but this does not make it drop into the pool?
any ideas?

I have 30" monitors here, so I want the standard preview size of every new catalog to be set to 2048 pixels.

This is of hot topic for me since I just noticed Lightroom had been discarding 1:1 previews that I had spent large amounts of time creating just over a month ago as I've begun transitioning my archives from Aperture to LIghtroom. At any point, I'll maybe have access to only 1/15th of the actual DNG's in my catalog because they're offline, so keeping full sized previews of archived files is extremely important for my workflow.John,

How do I make it so there is no vibration for a new message while in iMessage conversation
Hello all. I have an iPhone 5 and was experiencing battery problems. I reset all settings and this appears to have fixed the problem. However I am missing some of my old settings and I am wondering how to get them back. I can't quite remember (terrible I know, is there an app for that?) but I swear that before I reset when I was in an iMessage window (like looking at the screen, I could see people writing, there name at the top, you know what I mean)....and I got a message it wouldn't vibrate. Which I liked becuase I didnt need to be notified of something I was looking at. However if I had the phone locked or on an different app or something it would still vibrate. Do you understand?
Now it either always vibrates (locked, on facebook, or looking at the message window) or doesnt (if i turn vibration on)
I should note that this in in silent mode, or mute mode, whatever it is callled when you move that switch over.
I want to get it so it vibrates only when I am not in the imessage window, when I can see someone is typing and then a new message is sent from them I don't need to be notified.

10.5 isn't supported anymore, so you might as well attempt data recovery (if you dont' have a backup) and call Apple via phone for the 10.6.3 white retail disk.

A script to make all page references into hyperlinks

I have a customer request to make all pages references into hyperlinks.
For example: when you see in the text of the PDF "page 4", you can click on it and move to page 4. This of course can be done manually with InDesign. The problem starts when you have whole load of them. In addition to that, I have this project as a book, with several different documents...
I used the script "Automatic hyperlink of each word in a file" from http://www.nobrainer.dk/automatic-hyperlink-of-each-word-in-a-file/ as a base, and modified it for my porpuse. Currently it still produces errors. Any idea what's the bug?

Do we need to run catbundle.sql for ANY new db we create after CPU's?
We're in the middle of reviewing the JAN2009CPU readme, and found a curiosity in the patch notes.
- Our platform is Oracle 10.2.0.4 Enterprise Edition on Solaris 10 64-bit.
In the Post-Patch instructions for the CPU, we see the following clause

3.3.5, "Post Installation Instructions for New and Upgraded Databases"
These instructions are for both non-RAC environments and RAC environments
when a database is created or upgraded after the installation of CPUJan2009.
You must execute the steps in Section 3.3.2.1, "Loading Modified .sql Files
into the Database"" and Section 3.3.2.2, "Recompiling Views in the Database"
for *any new database that was created* by any of the following methods:
- Using DBCA (Database Configuration Assistant) to select a sample database (General, Data Warehouse, Transaction Processing)
- Using a script that was created by DBCA that creates a database from a sample database
- Cloning a database that was created by either of the two preceding methods,
and if Section 3.3.2.1, "Loading Modified .sql Files into the Database"
was not executed after CPUJan2009 was applied.
Upgraded databases require no post-installation steps to be executed.

So, if you create a database by any of the explicitly listed methods (all of which are creating a database from a backup that my have been made of a database that was not patched to that level) then you need to run the scripts. If you create a database by some other method (about all that is left is a command line CREATE DATABASE) then part of that creation will necessarily include running the necessary cat* scripts, which will already be at the correct level. -
Does anyone know if anyone makes a waterproof, fully submergible case for iPod Touches, 4th Generation? I am looking for one that can be taken into a pool or ocean, where I would be able to take underwater pictures or videos. I've tried numerous web sites, including "Otter Box", but have been unable to find one for the iPod Touch. I believe there might be one out for iPhones, but can't find one for an iPod Touch. Can I make layers default to the top when I drag and drop into a new folder?
Can I make layers default to the top when I drag and drop into a new layer folder instead of the bottom? It annoys me that they always go to the bottom and I inevitably always need them at the top.

How do I best integrate existing laptops for a new server? Can I use the existing home folders on the laptops and make them into Network Users?
Yes it will work. I've done it for a few users in my small office. As with anything, there are quirks that you may or may not experience. Most quirks are app-related, due to app developers hard-coding absolute paths into their apps for things like temp files (Photoshop). Strategies for resolving these sorts of quirks can be found via google. You would probably have seen these quirks already when using server-based home folders for your kids. If you haven't noticed them, then you're probably fine.
The tech note you cited should be fine. It doesn't explicitly say so, but you'll need to enable ssh on your server, at least temporarily, so you can upload your home folder to the server using scp, rsync, etc. Don't try to copy the files up to the server via Finder.
Once all your files are transferred to the server and in the right place, make sure to chown them on the server, so they are owned by the userID you created for yourself on the server.
As with anything this involved, make a good backup of your laptop first.
Note I have one user that isn't too happy with the responsiveness of the periodic mobile home syncing. She has about a decade of e-mail in her home folder, probably 50 to 100 emails per day, many with attachments. Mobile home syncing takes a long time to check and sync this huge tree of itty-bitty files, eevn with server-side file tracking turned on. The other users are happy.
The nice thing about mobile home syncing is that when a user "graduates" to an age where they've earned their own laptop, you can change them from a server home user to a mobile home user, with a minimum of fuss. Also, if you lose or break a laptop, you can add a new replacement laptop to your network, and pull-down a replica of the home folder from the server, with almost no downtime. -

Every time I type "SF" to mean San Francisco, it auto corrects it to "at." I always click the X. I have done this dozens of times but it still autocorrects SF to at. I know I could turn off autocorrecting, but I like it except for this quirk. Ideas??
