Make a viewer () in Photoshop

hi, i want to develop a viewer in photoshop.
idea like this:
when editting something, i want to preveiw what effect is it now.
click [viewer], show the picture.
i can Zoom in, Zoon out, to check detail.
In viewer mode, everything is read only, all photoshop's tools/options is available to change, meanwhile the new effect is show in viewer mode.
And the lines of select area, path ... (editting elements), is not displayed (not block the view).
And the editing/file status before turning on viewer mode is nothing be changed.
Can this mode be developped and used through Plugs-in /???
I'm planning develop it in VC# or C++;

You have to download the free Mehdi Kaleidoscope plug-in from http://www.mehdiplugins.com/english/kaleidoscope.htm.
Extract the file in the zip you download to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 11\Required\Plug-Ins\Filters and it will then appear under the filters menu in PSE.

Images in ACR are softer than when viewed in Photoshop?

I'm finding that when I view a RAW image in ACR 4.1 that the image does not appear as sharp as when I open the image from ACR into Photoshop and view it in Photoshop. I open my RAW files from ACR into Photoshop as PSD files. The image as viewed in Photoshop looks sharper at values less than 100%. Here's a screen grab of the same image (Photoshop on the left, ACR on the right), side by side at the exact same viewing size (23.1%), and the Photoshop image has more sharpness and clarity to it. It's minor, but noticeable in the leaves and bricks and it gives the ACR image an overall soft feeling.

Do the programs handle interpolation diferrently when viewing images at less than 100%? Or, do RAW and PS files inherently display differently when not viewed at 100%? When both are viewed at 100%, they match. This isn't a major deal breaker -- but the lack of clarity at smaller viewing sizes in ACR is unfortunate, since I rarely view images in ACR at 100% size when I'm reviewing images and images that I think are soft are, in fact, not.
The disparity seems more pronounced with images in portrait orientation.
I'm using a Mac Pro, Radeon X1900, 23" ACD. Canon 5d images.
Anyone experience similar? I love ACR, but wondering if someone can shed some light on this.

Thanks for the clarification now -- it makes sense. I knew ACR only showed the effects of sharpening at 100%, but had forgotten to take into account Photoshop shows the effects of sharpening at all sizes, including under 100%

I have an external server that stores all my movies and music, is there a way to stream it to my apple tv? If not is there a way I can link the folders to itunes (without downloading files to computer) and will that make them view-able for the apple TV?

(I think the daughter got he better end of the deal!) I believe if you change the password and user id one of the devices it will stop that from occurring. But I'm not the one to tell you how to do it; someone like "Illaass" (Illaass seems to know how to correct / fix almost anything!) will know how if you don't. Just look for the "cat" icon.

How to make list view the default in finder?

Is there a way to make "List view" be the default view for all folders opened?
I know that with a window open, you can hit CMD-1, 2, 3 or 4 for icon, list, column, or cover view, but I want "list view" to be the default.
I know that in some windows I can set the list view the way I want it and then close the folder, knowing the next time it opens, it will remember it, but that doesn't seem to work for encrypted sparse-bundle drives. They ALWAYS come up in icon view, regardless of the previous view it was in.
So hopefully, setting the overall default will help me solve this problem.

I could swear that I've done this before, in exactly this way, and it worked fine on my internal HD, but not on my encrypted sparse-bundles. But now it's working.

I have a requirement to make the Hierarchy view as fixed ie To remove the toggel functionality .
Component MPL_MAIN .
for which
I removed the toggel button and make the view visible all the times .
I have removed the button by commenting the code .
but I am not sure how can I make the view always visible ?
I can understand that i have to use the same code as the toggel event 'ONTOGGLEHIERARCHY'is using ,
but where should I be putting that code so that it takes the Hierarchy view at the time of initial loading .

Does table load make the view INVALID

Hi All,
One of our jobs failed due to an INVALID view. When I check the view and last_ddl_time, it has a time stamp, which is recent than the the job failure. I have also checkd the base table. One of the table partition has same time stamp for last_ddl_time as the view. Looks like the partition has been exchanged or some othe DDL ran on that partition. But table structure was not altered (no columns added, no renaming of the columns). My question by anmy chance adding a partition/partition exchnage/loading a partition makes the views on the table INVALID?? What could be the reason to this?

The packages which is using this view will become invalid but when the package is accessed next time it will be valid.

Hello there!
To make a GIF in Photoshop, create a new document with a layer for each image you wish to use. Then you go Window > Timeline, which is where you create the frames for your GIF animation. To create frames, you select the option "New Frame" from the drop down menu available to the far right of the Timeline tab. For every frame you make, make sure to hide the layer(s)/image(s) you don't want seen by clicking on the eye next to the desired layer(s). Repeat the process until you create your desired timeline.
Filters, effects, delays between frames, etc. can all be done during this process.
