Hello, my dreamweaver CS6 live view and design view totally different from each others when I work on coding, also after finish coding I have to go to review on browser to see what I have done, what options I have to make all the code view,split view, and live view the same?

Design view is never going to be accurate for layout - it's not a browser. Live view is a browser, however, and should be very close to what you see in preview or when the page is live. The biggest reason one would see significant differences in these views is invalid code - does yours validate at http://validator.w3.org?

How do I make all clips the same brightness?

I'm editing a four-minute video with ten clips, opening and closing titles, and a graphic. It's essentially a talking head presentation. The sound from a lapel mic is good as is the framing. But we used available lighting coming through a large window. So the top of the frame, the white background, is a little darker than the bottom. Also some clips are somewhat overall darker than others.
Is there a way that I could make them all the same brightness? In the Adjust panel I can select only one clip at a time to change the lighting. It would be neat if there was an action that would make all the clips equally bright.

Yes, there is. Assuming you have several similar clips, you make all the adjustments you think they all will need to one clip. Then, select the adjusted clip, right click, "Copy". Select the rest of the similar clips, right click and "Paste Effects and Adjustments". All the clips will now have the same adjustments.
Make this an early part of the work because ALL effects and adjustments are applied. After this first and primary adjustment is made, more adjustments can be made to individual clips.

FileSystemTree and "ordinary" Tree - make them look the same?

I wondered if anyone's worked with Adobe AIR's FileSystemTree and the "ordinary" Tree in Adobe Flex, making them look the same? If so, can you give me some hints on how to make them look the same when it comes to icons, disclosure icons, branches, leafs etc.?
The reason I'm asking is this:
Some time ago I decided it'd be nice to build a sort of FTP Client with Adobe AIR. The client would, among other things, have a tree for local folders and a tree for remote folders. It seemed ideal to use the FileSystemTree for the tree containing local folders. The tree with remote folders is built using the "ordinary" Tree with data supplied via a Microsoft .NET Web Service. However, once I started down this road I soon realized the two controls don't look and behave the same (even though FileSystemTree apparently derives from Tree).
Some examples:
- Tree seems to use easing when opening a folder. FileSystemTree just "opens it".
- FileSystemTree displays a disclosure arrow icon regardless of whether or not a directory has children. Haven't got the Tree to display the same icon when a remote directory is empty.
Any help would be appreciated! I'd also like to point out that I'm quite new to both AIR and Flex so maybe the problems I see are actually easy to solve.

There is no bookmarks tab, expect you are referring to the bookmarks menu on the menu bar ("File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help") on your XP system.
Once your restore your menus on you Window 7 system, you can get rid of the bookmarks button. After going through the 10 steps below your toolbars on your Windows 7 system will be more usable again and like your XP system, none of which has anything to do with Sync.

I'm running the same version of Firefox on one computer in Windows 7 and on another computer in Windows XP. How can I make them look the same? Bookmarks is a button on the right in W7 and a tab at the top left in XP.

Matrix editor: make selected notes the same length broken?

I used to select a group of notes in matrix editor, then drag one of those with SHIFT+ALT to make them all the same length.
This appears as broken in LPX (10.0.6), as the behaviour is inconsistent: sometimes it works as expected (as in LP9), other times it just de-selects the clicked note.
This looks like a bug to me... Any ideas?

Hello, I am importing logs from from a 3rd party system. They come in as markers into FCP. The log comments come in under master comment 1. Is there a way to re-map this so master comment 1 appears where the maker type is shown.

Yes, you can connect the card via a jack situated on the back of the card - you just need a cable with stereo minijack and RCA. All the older Creative cards (since Li've!) have that SPDIF output on the back, on the form of a mini-jack. It is labeled as "digital".
The ONLY problem is that you will be able to send surround sound via SPDIF only if it is encoded DD or DTS on a DVD-ROM. The card itself will not encode surround sound CREATED in the PC. So, games, mp3's, CD's all will be stereo PCM. I guess that your old MoBo SPDIF was in the same situation (except for a SoundStorm integrated from nVidia that does DD 5. encoding on the fly). If you don't care about gaming performance, Turtle Beach make a card that does DolbyDigital encoding on-the-fly - they are calling this Dolby Digital Li've.
About mikes: one mike input is existing on the back of the card, and another one on the expansion bay (if you have platinum version). both of them will take only a el-cheapo (electret/condenser mike), not a proffesional one.

How do you find the size of a current layer so you can make other layers the same size

When I have an PSD icon set and I want to size a layer to a size that looks good. How do I see the dimentions of that layer so that I can select another layer and make it the same size.

well that's my point Chris. I have a PSD that has 150 icons in it. I want to take 5 of them and make them the same size 300 x 300 from the 180 that they are.
If I select one and then press Apple T, I can see that it is 180 x 180 in the info window. I can then go to the transform bar at the top where it says 100% x 100% and type in 180px then 180px in the other.

Trying to make Photos all the same size, not working out...

I'm hoping someone can make sense of this for me. I can't figure it out. I'm not savvy when it comes to DPI and Pixels.
While using PSE7 I make a new project.
I go to file and blank and make my new project 8 inches by 10 inches and 1200 resolution.
I then use file and open up some photos, one at a time, they are on the board on the bottom of my screen. I now have 3 of them.
I click each photo individual and bring it up on the editing board (not sure of the terminology). I click on image and resize and keep constraints. I make the photo 4" high by what ever width it makes it. I also make it 1200 resolution.
I drag each photo on the 8" X 10" and they are all not the same height, shouldn't they be the same next to each other, they are all 4" high, I checked. There is a just a little difference, but for the project I'm working on, I want them exactly 4" high.

Resolution of 1200 px/in is excessive. For printing, resolution 240-300px/in is adequate, and for web posting 72 will do nicely.
Suggest that you embrace the following work flow:
Go to File>New>blank file, enter width & height, resolution, Color mode:RGB, Backgrond:white
It is desirable that the individual pictures have the same, or at least close, resolution as the file created in step #1.
Open picture #1. Access the crop tool, and on the options bar of the tool you can enter width & height in inches, and the resolution, then size the picture with precision by cropping.
Either copy/paste, or drag, the picture to the blank file from step #1. Use the move tool to position the picture
Repeat for pictures 2&3.
It is helpful to have the rulers displayed , and the grid facilitates orientation (View>check rulers>grid)
Another approach in PEv.8, is to go to the Create tab, and go down to Photo Collage. You will find a layout for 3 pictures, and nice themes.

Dreamweaver with the same format as Notepad++

I'm XHTML handcoder programmer and I'm working with
Notepad++, I'm trying to migrate to Dreamweaver because it have a
lot of great tools and auto-completion system. My big problem its
that I want to have the same colors and format like Notepad++
because are great and I can't change everything! I'm frustrated.
For example I want all the ATTRIBUTES in RED and all the TAGS in
BLUE but Dreamweaver use and UNIQUE color for: HTML FORM TAGS, and
HTML ANCHOR TAGS, and HTML IMAGE TAGS! and It looks like crap. For
example if you want a different Font for COMMENT TAGS you can't
change that. Anyway, if you are a DW developer, take a look to the
Notepad++ style editor. Have a great color style its very important
if you are going to use this tool everyday! :)

DW is using "Courier New" and I want a use a different Font. I
can't change that.

Make all pages the same width?

I've seen several answers to this question but they all seem to involve using an external app such as PDF Creator, Distiller, or something like that.
I have a pdf with three pages with different widths. From within Acrobat X, what is the easiest way to make all three pages the same width, or is that even possible without using an external app? If it is possible, please describe how to do this step by step.
By the way, I know there are steps that can be taken to avoid ending up with pdf's that have pages of varying lengths, but this question is not about that. It is about existing pdf's. Thanks a lot
I am using Adobe Acrobat X version 10.0.0.396 on Windows XP Pro SP3

Good question - I would say make all the page be the same width as the widest one. In general, these pdf's will contain 8.5" x 11" pages, sometimes in combination with legal size pages. The actual size of each page will differ depending on such things as who they came from and how they produced the pdf's, what software was used, which scanner was used, etc.
Here would be an example pdf:
The first 3 pages approximately 8.5" x 11" format. The last 2 pages are legal size. As you page throgh the document, the widths change. My usual setting as I page through a pdf is Fit Width. But in this pdf, the first two pages look right, the third page is too narrow, the fourth page looks right, and the fifth page looks too narrow. So given that, How would I make all 5 pages the same width so that as I page through the pdf, the widths are all exactly the same, and not just appear the same? If I have to choose which width they should all be, I'd say go with the widest one.
If I need to run some javascript to accomplish this, that's ok - I'll strip it out before distributing the pdf. Thanks
