Maybe it is just me, but I find it difficult to find the link for the How-To page that I have used in the past on the Oracle Application Express page. I finally found it in the forum.

{tag_yourimagefield_value} - Will give you the raw source of the file location
You can then form your own image html and links wrapping this and the web app item name text.
To form the link source to go to - create a text custom field and just type or copy and paste a url into that field.

How to make an anchor link also refresh the page?

I'm trying some new things with some widgets (compositions) and I'd like to make certain anchor links also refresh my page (on the mobile version of my website). I tried putting the entire link in instead of just selecting my anchor (.com/mypage#myanchor) but that only works the first time (maybe because the user already is on .com/mypage#myanchor ?)
A bit of Googling found me a way to do this:

window.location.reload(true);
but I don't know how to use this in Muse..

Im experimenting with some different versions of a mobile version of my website. In this one I'm trying to put all content (everything except the header and footer) in a composition slideshow. I made the triggers invisible and placed them over my menu buttons in the header, so that the content scrolls horizontally. I like this because people only need to load 1 page (my mobile version only has about 6 pages) and they can also swipe between content, like my product pages.
This all worked out fine, but now every "page" is the same length (because in reality its just one page with a slideshow on it). So now I had to add content to some pages (like home and about us) to kinda fill all space (the pages with my products on it have alot more content). I decided to put pages together, like put "about us" on the same page as "home". I made an anchor and linked to that anchor with my "about us" menu button. But, as "about us" is on slide 1 with home, the slideshow must also reset when people click it (otherwise you would only scroll down on the wrong slide). If I make my website refresh the slideshow resets (it would also work if i open the link in a new window, but that'd be very annoying).

The correct term in Pages is Text Boxes, and true linking is not implemented in v5.2. You can Unite, Intersect, Subtract, and Exclude multiple Text Boxes via the Arrange panel. These attributes only appear when two or more Text Boxes are selected. Also, on the Arrange menu, you will need Object Placement set to Move with Text, and the Text Wrap set to None for more accurate positioning.
In the following example, there was initially a Text Box with overflowing text that was duplicated. With both Text Boxes selected and aligned, I could then use the Unite feature from the Arrange panel. This allowed the text to flow into the second box. Selecting text in one box and dragging upwards continues the text selection between both boxes. Hoefler italic applied in one box is applied to both. Appropriately placed, another trip to the Arrange panel to enable Text Wrap around and text fit adjustments.

Thank you for your help; it is appreciated. I suspected that, but am still disappointed. I am finding myself getting more and more disenchanted with Apple products in the past few years. I've been a faithful fan, user and promoter since the 1980s, but I am starting to seriously doubt their competency in the past few years with the Pages 5 version as well as what iOS7 continues to do to my iPhone (as my prime examples). Instead of enhancing my life and work, Apple is beginning to waste my time -- a lot of it! Perhaps it is time for a change.... I don't want to, but I am starting to look for other alternatives.

Book without ISBN, how to link to the iBooks page?

My book does not have an ISBN. How do I link to my book page in this case?
Most videos and tuturials out there asume that your book as an ISBN number. I promise to give a free copy of my book to the person that just gives a straight answer: "You do it like this, and presto." Typo above: "has"... I cannot correct it using my iPad.

I should add that I am asking this question because when I link to iTunes, my book-cover image looks degraded and you wonder who designed it. Not so on the iBooks Store, where it looks decent, and the resolution is much better.
You would expect a dedicated link next to your books on the iTunes Connect shelf. I mean, they offer marketing guides, and no clear links to your books? One wonders...

How to link web app item to different URL other than detail page

Hi, this is probably a bit of a stupid question but I can't find the answer anywhere. On my site, I have projects set up as web apps--I want the customer to be able to click on the title or image for the web app and for it to link to a PDF or blog page, NOT the detail view.
So I want the app title and image to link to a different URL, not detail view.

How to link to a specific page in an iBook as part of an assignment in an in-session course?

It would be helpful to link an assignment to a specific page or chapter in an iBook or textbook from iBookstore. Anyone found a way to do this yet? I thought is was possible but can't figure it out.

Hey, one thing I tried, although it is pretty kludgy...
Duplicated the blog page in Muse
Copied the tumblr URL specific to the posts I wanted to link to
Made the iframe URLs in each of the new pages directed to the tumblr URL specific to that blog post.
Just an idea since I couldn't figure out how to make the iframe direct to tumblr anchor or something similar.

How is Harrods magazine app contents page put together

Can anyone help?
I love the way the contents react when scrolling. I can do a basic scrollable frame but can't figure out how to make the other frames react. I wondered if it was edge or HTML but then how to they make it clickable to specific pages with the magazine? I'm sure theres some simple, yet clever trick in overlays that can be used.

This isn't a DPS app. It looks like they're using some sort of Objective-C to do this. I trawled their app with PhoneDisk, and I don't see any html files within the Contents page.
That's not to say you can't do this via HTML--you certainly should be able to.
Personally, though, I think it's sloppy. Why should the other sections scroll when I'm trying to scroll in just one?

I have a logo on every page of company site. Under Logo of Edit Defition page, the Logo Type is Text, Logo is <img src="#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#Logo.gif">. How to change Logo Attributes to make it link to home page?

How can I transfer apps like 'Pages' and 'Numbers' to my iPhone from my MacBook?

I've been trying to transfer Pages, Numbers and Keynote to my iPhone to save myself the trouble of taking my whole laptop to College with me every day but I don't know how and I'm wondering if I am going to have to buy them from the app store on my phone. I had no problem transfering the apps from my iMac to my MacBook Pro using Bluetooth but my computer and phone don't seem to be having any of that.

OS X apps can't run on an iOS device, and iOS apps can't run on a Mac or PC.
You need to purchase these apps from the app store which are written/optimized for iOS devices.

Aperture web gallery - how to link back to main page from iWeb?

Okay, this may be simple, but I can't figure it out.
I created and uploaded a few web pages with iWeb to my dot.Mac account (web.mac.com/f8lee50) just to get a feel for things. I then created a web gallery with Aperture and uploaded it - naturally Aperture generated a URL for the gallery, which I set up as a link on my "Photos from Hawaii" page (the link is the word 'this' in the second paragraph, if you wawnt to look).
Okay, so this gets me from the "photos from Hawaii" page to the gallery, and within the gallery I can jump to the various images etc. But how does one navigate back to the "Photos from Hawaii" page from whence they came? Is there some sort of smart link that can be inserted (by Aperture?) that will send the viewer back to the main homepage? Or are the Aperture galleries essentially dead ends?

And thank you for the kind words, me100finn. I have not played with any variables as far as layout on the gallery (I did a bunch of stuff with the books, but the web gallery seems far less flexible) so I cannot answer your wuestion about the gray shadows.
Steve, thank you for the additional clarification (and the hint about spaces in URLs) - I guess what this all boils down to is that the web galleries from Aperture are not all that useful when they are meant to be a part of a bigger overall site. I'm not sure of what you meant when you say they have little forward or backward navigation in them - at least you can click on a thumbnail to get to an image, click next or previous or the grid to get back to the thumbnail galery. But, 'twould seem that hand coding HTML pages (the very thing I was hoping to avoid) is the only way to really integrate them. Given that, I gues the better approach will be just to use iWeb to load the images anyway.

How to link B2C basket (order page), with backend or IPC or JCo

It is in the standard flow of the B2C application, when we add the campaign on the header of the Order page, on clicking Update the prices donot get update.
If we click on the product catalog and again add same product to the basket, product to which the campaign is linked, we get updated prices.
This is a standard flow of B2C application.
If I come to change the Action class for Update, we need the fields to from salesDoc or Basket to get the Pricing condtions generated for the item on adding campaign to order jsp , using the stangard java class "PrepareIsaPriceAnalysisAction".
i.e
1.     IPC Connection Key: needed at header level of sales document.
2.     IPC Document ID: needed at header level of sales document.
3.     Item Id: present at sales document item level.
In the Action class for B2C, we are just getting item id as standard and not other fields from salesdocument getHeader() method, as we get in B2B.
If anyone in SDN, who has earlier worked on this issue and got some patch downloaded from SAP market place for standard appliaction of B2C. We are using service pack 4. Kindly help us in getting this issue resolved.
I am able to get all the values of campaign related data on the page and I am able to add the campaign in the sales document, but not able to link with backend or not able to get or create IPC info from the Backend using standard Bapi's for getting the information.
Kindly help in resolving the issue.

OAF 5.10 - how to extend existing Apps 11i page ?

I am having problems with getting substitutions to work for use when extending existing Apps page, so any hints would be appreciated.
I have setup "-Djbo.project=mzCustom" in the projects "Java Options" (mzCustom is the project name) and also made sure that the jpx file is included in the CLASSPATH
My mzCustom.jpx file shows

MZ is a custom application, which is registered Apps FND_APPLICATION table (used adsplice to set this up)
In my JDev environment whether I use "WorklistVO" as per the developers guide, or "mzWorklistVO" I always get the same error when I try to create the new item in personalizations for the page
"oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: oracle.jbo.NoDefException: JBO-25002: Definition Test1 of type Attribute not found"
I also get this error when run via the Deployed environment, despite loading the JPX file into the MDS.
If I try to create a new item in the page itself via JDev, I cannot see "mzWorklistVO" in the list of View Instances, and if I select "WorklistVO" then the list of attributes does not include the attributes added into "mzWorklistVO" but am not sure if this is "normal" or not ?
I am convinced I am missing something obvious, but just cannot see what I am doing wrong..... can anyone offer any insight as to what I need to do to get this to work ?
The example in the Tutorial works OK for me, but am finding it difficult to translate this example to what I am trying to do and have followed the guidelines in the Developers Guide to no avail.

This might not have anything to do with substitutions; that error comes any time you have an incorrect reference to a view object attribute in your page. Those references could be in the item properties of View Attribute, Destination URI, or anywhere you are typing in a view attribute name as a parameter for passing values.
Where is the Test1 view attribute coming from? Is that what you added for your extended view object?
Are you actually referencing the view attribute name correctly (and from where?)? It is case sensitive.
