Make it stop! It's making me download v10 to use the store!
I am running a 12" PowerBook G4, Mac's all-time best portable. I'm at v10.4.11 of the OS and happy that way. I'm running v7 of iTunes and happy there, too. As in, stable and not bombarded w a bunch of junk.
Now I want to go buy a new song and the only screen I can get at the iTunes Store is the one that upgrades you to v10 iTunes.
I don't want it! Help! Do I have to?

No, you do not have to.
There are several online music download stores that will sell you the "new song" that you want to buy. At all of them (except for the iTunes Store) you do not need any software except your normal browser.
An example is Amazon MP3.
You can purchase MP3s from any online source and add them to your iTunes library.

I evidently didn't leave system preferences properly or something. I fixed it by going back to system preferences and changing the keyboard shortcuts to "-" then quitting system preferences by command Q. I want to import still images to make a stop motion animation, but when I try to change the duration of still images, it isn't reflected in the timeline. How can I do this?

If you import your still images using iPhoto, then the time you set for each still, using FCPX Perferences works.
You can set the durantion from 1 frame to as long as you want them view.
If you do not use iPhoto to import your stills, the default is 10 sec's.
FYI: This issue was brought up within a month after FCPX was released. They found out by using iPhoto, you had better control of the amount of time your still was viewed. -

You'll want a separate iCloud account for each user in addition to the main Apple ID used for purchases.

The only thing that is now 'shared' would be iTunes content (apps and other purchases), backups via iCloud (if enabled), and Photo Stream (if enabled). -

You delete the app as you do any other app. Hold an icon until they wiggle. Tap the "x". This is covered in the manual. -

You could try the following and see if they then download :
- log out of your account by tapping on your id at the bottom of the Music tab in the iTunes Store app and then log back in
- disconnect and reconnect to your network (Settings > Wi-Fi)
- close the iTunes Store app via the iPad's taskbar and then re-open it
- soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

Can we copy a CD tutorial onto an iPad? Does it work like the MacBook Air when downloading or copying using the iMac?

I just got a new Treo 755p for Verizon. I can't seem to download any software using the built in web browser. When I initiate the download it sits on the download screen and does nothing. I've tried several sources of software all resulting in the same thing.
Could it be settings on the Treo itself? Not sure! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
