Please keep in mind you should only use 32 bit if your system has less than 4 GB of memory. I would also personally get the OEM however it is your option.

You need to copy everything from your backup copy of your computer.

Hello, As of now, Skype does not work well with Windows DPI scaling. Everything looks fuzzy (fonts, icons, etc).Microsoft's recommendation is to turn off the DPI scaling ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2900023 ) but in this case, the text is too tiny to be read. Basically everyone with a high resolution display is stuck with either tiny of fuzzy fonts, making Skype unusable. It's really a pity because other Microsoft programs such as Office work perfectly with Windows DPI scaling, and Skype also looks great on Mac with Retina display. With high DPI displays becoming more and more common, this is a must have feature. Thanks for reading!

As you can see Skype is really broken on HDPI displays and the issue is still being ignored/unacknowledged by Skype devs.

How to make itunes work on 600 x 480 monitor

I have an old monitor. Trying not to upgrade just yet. I installed Itunes, but I can't get to the whole page. It suggets a different ratio, but I can't change mine. It is 600 x 480. Is there a way to make Itunes fit that resolution?

MAKE ITUNES WORK!!!!!

After about a zillion attempts to install iTunes (both by downloading and by using the CD-ROM that came with my new iPod), I managed to get it to work.
Now, when I open/run iTunes, it lets me accept the EULA terms, but then tells me:
"The folder 'iTunes' cannot be found or created, and is required. The default location for this folder is inside the 'My Music" folder."
I've tried copying the iTunes folder and all its contents from "Program Files" to "[My User-Name]'s Music" but I get the same results.
I tried installing it on my Secondary Hard Drive (D:/ where My Documents is actualy located). Still the same.
No matter what I've tried (followed other advice i've seen in the forums, also with no help) I can't get this to work.
I'm getting to my last thread! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!

Previous versions of iTunes won't use the iTunes library (newer version) file
Fortunately, iTunes makes backup copies of its library,
So when you reinstall, you have to delete (or rename just in case) library file, you have to copy (and rename) one the backups (usually the most recent one) to take its place
the library file is called         >>         iTunes Library (extension itl)
and should be in the          >>          Desktop\Libraries\Music\iTunes\           folder
the backups should be in the    >>     Desktop\Libraries\Music\iTunes\Previous iTunes Library\        folder
that should make iTunes work, wiith most or all of your library intact

There is no driver under USB-section and instructions that provided in first reply I have gone thru and they are no go with this problem - they are more likely for older iPod etc devices and dot with issue to deal with 64bit/32bit things. It sounds like either your hard drive or the SATA cable that connects it to the motherboard are failing. This could be heat related in your case, which is why you see it after it runs awhile. You can take it to the Genius Bar for a free evaluation. If you decide to test it yourself, I usually suggest moving the hard drive to an external enclosure. If it works there for awhile, the cable is probably the issue.
