Sorry about this nube question. I appreciate the patience of
the person who helps me. I just want to link a short sound to a

    Im on ubuntu 12.04 skype version 4.3.0.37 if that helps to know.
    It will show me the call metadata about when called and length of calls for all calls, but only some will play for me.  eg can play one from last July, but 2 recent from 2015 wont play.
    I will try soon on another system to see if my version etc is perhaps the problem.
    I just used linux mint 13 xfce with same skype 4.3.0.37 and messages play perfectly.
    I'll put something on the ubuntu forums abput this I think.

    See...the scenario is something like this : I have a main application running into a JFrame instance. Now, from a menu item in this JFrame, I have opened the modal JDialog. And from this modal JDialog, I have created a JFrame. Now I am not able to focus and perform any operation on this JFrame unless I close the JDialog from which it was created.
    Please suggest some workaround so that without closing the JDialog, I am able to fire some event from the JFrame which is being created from this modal JDialog.
    Thanks,

  • How to make sound play in loop

    Hi
    How can i make sound play in loop? Is there any property in class SoundChannel responsible for this or i have to write my own function?

    Using the sound Object there is a property you can pass in which asks for number of Loops
    Play(startPosition:Number,LOOPS:int,SoundTransform)
    or you can create your own method that listens to SoundComplete and then trigger play again.  which in my opinion is the best to do because when you play a sound with a loop, and choose to have is begin at a position other than 0  then the loop will play starting from where you set the position.

  • Thanks For Your Support in advance i want to know that when I open a website that time view print option and when I click close button then page also new window page also close. I want to copy it how i can stop this print option?

    WHEN I OPEN A URL THAT TIME WITH PAGE OPEN SHOWS PRINT OPTION AND WHEN I CLICK CLOSE BUTTON OF PRINT OPTION THAT TIME NEW WINDOW BUTTON IS CLOSED. I WANT TO CLOSE ONLY PRINT OPTION. PLEASE HELP ME...............THANKS

    Many sites which offer specific "print formatted" pages do that: they assume that once you have finished with the print dialog you no longer want the page itself. So for your convenience they close it. Not so convenient for you, since you still want to view the page.
    I'm not aware of an easy solution for this. I can think of a couple different approaches.
    First, maybe there's an add-on to solve this? That would be easiest.
    Second, maybe there's a userscript to solve this?
    The Greasemonkey add-on runs userscripts which you can copy or download. Be careful to install only long-establish and trusted scripts. (''Is there a site that has this bad behavior that I can view without logging in? I will test one of my existing scripts to see whether it helps.'')
    Third, Firefox has an old system for restricting site permissions in a custom text file in your profile folder (named user.js). Editing this file is a bit advanced, and I haven't been able to test it, but the system works along these lines:
    <br>// Define a policy name for window.close permission
    // (assumes you don't have this pref already)
    user_pref("capability.policy.policynames", "nowindowclose");
    // Define policy: disable sites from using window.close
    // in their scripts
    user_pref("capability.policy.nowindowclose.Window.close", "noAccess");
    // List of sites subject to this policy
    user_pref("capability.policy.nowindowclose.sites", "firstbadsite.com secondbadsite.com");
    Again, I haven't tested that and recommend looking into add-ons first.

    }The problem with even attempting to do this is that with today's browser capabilities, users can optionally choose to jump to a particular page in the browser history and this may not necessarily be the most recent page. In this case, you would also want to invalidate the user's session after already having been there (whatever page that may be). Then you have situations when the user may wish to jump back in history to external pages they were visiting before they reached your own site's pages. Then what happens when they start clicking forward, forward, etc... from there? This is why I prefer writing Swing Clients as alternatives to browser applications. There are soo many possible ways break web applications made for standard web browsers both maliciously and simply by accident or irregular user patterns. Regardless, this servlet would work based on the assumption that all the user(s) would "ever" do aside from moving logically forward is clicking on the browser's "back" button.
    cheers!

  • Cp8 Is it possible to initiate a different timeline to start playing once you click a button?

    A bit challenging to explain, but I'll give it a shot:
    If we take a rollover slidelet for example - It has its own "timeline" so you can basically display additional objects on screen separately from the main timeline.
    Is it possible to have the same effect when you click a button?
    So basically i want certain object to appear one after the other after I click a button.
    Thanks!

    Thanks for the explanation, but that's not what I meant exactly
    I'm not using any rollovers in the slide. Only buttons. The users can click on any button if they wish to. Once a button is clicked, I want certain objects to appear.
    I'm using advanced actions in order to display a group and hide the others. So when a user clicks on say button 1, group one appears on screen and the rest of the groups disappear (by the advanced action).
    The group that does appear, contain 5 elements that appear at once. I want them to appear one after the other in sync with an audio narration. I'm well aware about using the timeline to achieve this, however, the issue is that I don't have an individual timeline for the "group" (similar to the Gr_Vars) that you show in your pic. Even if I un-group it into objects then it consists of too many items to hide / show with advanced actions.

  • My DVD drive won't open when I click the button

    Hi there
    I'm hoping someone can help me.
    My DVD drive won't open when I click the button.
    I've tried clicking on eject on the DVD Drive icon in My Computers and it comes up with an error message.
    I think I deleted cookies the other day. Could that have anything to do with the problem?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated as I really don't want to send my laptop away to a technician.

    Hi
    Try to open the CD/DVD drive manually.
    Near the eject button you will find a small hole.
    You could use a small object like staple and could push it carefully into this hole.
    Usually this should helps to open the drive manually.
