Make video disappear after last frame

Have embedded a video in a document. Thanks to Ned, I can now stop the video, but I want it to disappear after it's finished. How 2 do?

Add an empty keyframe one frame after the frame where you stopped and move the stop() command there.

Go to System Preferences - Accessibility - Voiceover - turn off Voiceover. The shortcut is command-F5, so possibly you pressed that accidentally.

Video ends and last frame remains showing

I'm playing a very short video within a page. Once the video ends, the displayed image (the one that remains on screen) is the first frame of the video - is there a way to make the last frame of the video remain on the screen?

For whatever reason I can't get this to work now. I've used the exact same settings as in your blog post. The video plays for the duration of the slideshow interval setting and then the third object state (a jpeg) appears.
-Any ideas?

Hi, my itune U and podcast videos disappeared after ios 6 upgrade. where can i find them?

hi my itune U videos and podcast can no longer be viewed by "video" app after iOS 6 upgrade. they are there when i search for them. but just won't start. there is a new podcast app but i can't see my old podcast video from its library.
does anyone know how to access them?
i am using a ipad 2.

Lots of YouTube subscription videos missing after last update?

After the latest software update for Apple TV I noticed a LOT of Youtube videos were missing from my subscriptions, and in some cases, entire channels. The channels are still there to be selected, but it acts as though they contain no videos. This even includes Apple's own YouTube channel among those affected. Some other channels have a few, but not all of their videos, and some were completely unaffected and still have all their videos.
I submitted a bug report to Apple, but wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue since it seems to have happened only after the last software update.

QT Video chokes after last Security Update

Have noticed a massive amount of QuickTime suckage since applying the latest Security Update2006-007Ti. Video chokes and gags. The audio plays throughout movie files - in iTunes, in QuickTime Player, even in Finder Preview - but the video doesn't show, and when it does, it's only for a few stuttering frames at a time, then it goes black. But the audio continues.
Permissions have been repaired, box's been restarted, all extraneous non-Apple QT plugins and codecs are disabled... ad infinitum. Still no love.
Yeah, I know my machine's old. And I can't watch all those beautiful, hi-res .h264 trailers and movies without the CPU gagging. But lower res .h264 mpv, mov, mp4, etc. used to play smoothly and without incident.
Any help or suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm having the same problem with my ATI 9200 Radeon graphics card. Installed in a G4 dual 533mhz quicksilver, 1GB ram, attached to an Apple Studio Display through a ADC to DVI connector, running OS X 10.4.8.
Whenever I'm playing Quicktime movies, it freezes my computer after about 15 seconds. I am still able to move the mouse icon, but finder and all other programs freeze, preventing me from making any selections or even a restart.
Is this Quicktime? ATI? Or just my computer?

Adobe Premiere Elements 10 Video Freezes After One Frame

Hi, so my Adobe product worked PERFECT for about a year now, then all of a sudden it just broke, When I put a file into it, it shows the First Frame and Freezes, the Audio plays as if the Video was showing, but the Video is just frozen. I don't know how to fix it, I've uninstalled and re-installed it, but nothing is helping.

Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post.

How to make fields disappear after making them appear

I've got a drop-down list with a question like this: Q) how many people did you interview? and you can select a number that corresponds to the number of people you interviewed. I've got the fields appearing without any problems, so if I select 2, I get two text fields to appear asking for the names of the people you interviewed.
My problem is once I select a number, lets say I select 4 by mistake but intended to select 3, I get 4 text fields appearing. However if I go back and select 3, which is the number of fields I wanted, I still have 4 fields showing. How do I get the number of fields I select be the only number of fields to appear?

Will the CSR have Acrobat or just Reader, and what type of computer will the CSR be using (Windows/Mac/mobile OS)? If just Reader (Wind/Mac), this is possible by setting the fields to read-only with JavaScript. The problem is this can't be considered secure, even if using a password as discussed here: Password-protect and hide one form field
With Acrobat you have the ability to flatten certain fields, which makes it a bit more difficult to change the "fields".

Software files disappeared after last update!

No idea what has happened but the day after the latest automatic update was installed (I think it was iTunes), half of my software is gone... Safari, Adobe CS3, OpenOffice... who knows what else. Any idea what caused this? I also noticed old deleted files have reappeared in my Trash..? This is crazy...

System Preferences->Software Update->Installed Software shows everything you've installed via Software Update. No reason to guess. The automatic software update won't muck with anything except what's associated with the update and automatically deletes items without putting them into the Trash. Something else occurred WRT the current Trash issue. What? I have no idea since I wasn't there. That's something for you to ascertain.

Phone numbers in contact list disappeared after last SW-Update

Hi,
everything worked fine until this week. My contacts were synchronized with outlook exchange. I got all contact phone & email details.
Now, I see only email addresses of my contacts. Forcing manual synchronization don't help. It seems that the synchronization works fine but there are still no phone numbers available. A mobile phone without stored phone number is a nightmare!
Can somebody help me?

Purple bar showing on composite video on last frame

Hello, I've been struggling to know why this bar shows in the end of my video on its last frame. Although on export it doesn't show.

All right. It has been about 10 hours with no response. Maybe we ought to tell muhammad that the stupid purple bar at the end of the sequence is a completely unnecessary indication that he is at the end of the sequence. As if he didn't know that he was at the end of the sequence already. A nice black frame generally works pretty well to tell someone that they ran out of media.
Adobe is trying to protect you from yourself. Just ignore it. Or get used to it. Or whatever. It is stupid and there is no way to turn it off. If it annoys you, please submit a feature request to have it be optional. I have.

Strange Problem- Timeline plays empty frames after last keyframe?

Once again, thank you all for being so supportive for this newbie!
So I have this weird problem going on. Why is it that on my timeline (and in preview), my animation still plays after my last keyframe?
In other words, my animation ends at frame 410 and there is nothing after that, but for some reason it still continues playing up to almost from 695?
This causes my image to disappear in the frames after 410 when I intended for it to stay still after that (with no looping).
How can I accomplish just making it stay still after frame 410? Basically it is just 3 roses blooming. I just want it to bloom when the viewer enters the webpage and stop after that. The last frame will make the image stay still (with the roses fully bloomed). Looping the bloom would be tacky and highly unnecessary.

I figured it out.
Turns out it was a BUG.
So I noticed that when I click one of the folders I put my layers in, it shows that it is 695 frames long. So weird because there is absolutely nothing after frame 410 when I check the layers in the folder individually.
So what I did was I deleted one of the layers in the folder to see if that would remove the 695 frames. I just deleted it and then undid the delete. And VOILA! It became 410 frames and works fine now. It was definitely a bug as I did not do any other editing to fix it. Just temporarily deleted it and putting that layer back by undoing the delete.

and I am dealing with a horrible problem!
I just got rid of Premiere CS6 (Where I was dealing with the same problem) and got the new Version of Premiere. I really love it!
Heres the Problem I am dealing with:
Everytime i've finished a sequence i go to:
Sequence -> Render Section.
Then the Rendering Window pops up and PR CC does his job.
But when replaying the prerenderes section i noticed something.
I zoomed that much into timeline so i was able to see every frame of the clip - because the play back seemed kind of OffBeat to me. And the thing that happend to every clip that was directly laying beside another clip - so there was no space between them - was, that after the PreRendering Premiere CC (and CS6 DID THE SAME) copied the last frame of the clip into the frist two frames of the following clip - so the are reeeeally tiny "still" pictures between every transitions. -> And that means, that the clip that is shown in the "Program Window" - Monitor in which you can preview the PreRenderes Video - doesn't change to the beat I've edited it on, BUT it changes 2 frames later!!

In Pic. 1 you can see, that the Marker (the red thin bar) in the Timeline is laying on the last frame of the clip on the left - the clip is called GoPro2130.MP4 (120%).
If i move the marker now over the the first frame of the clip called GoPro2130 (114.99%) the preview should change - but there is still the frame that was shown in the preview window at Pic.1
Now i moved the marker over for another frame (Pic. 3) - The same frame that is shown in Pic. 1 & 2 is still on the preview window.
NOW i moved the marker over for another frame (Pic 4 - 3rd frame of the new clip) AND NOW the clip finally changes although the clip should have changed 3 frames before..
ITS HORRIBLE!! I really dont know what to do..

Thanks for your suggestion about using the clip markers.   I tried them on a test clip.   They did not come down to the timeline. Besides, I would want them labeled.   Right now all my clips have a marker that is labeled with the date and location.   The chapter markers are labeled the same way.   I have a spread sheet that list the dates of all the Chapter Markers which connect to the dates on the menu.     This seems like an old fashion way to do things for such a sophisticated software.   Maybe I should put in a feature suggestion to Adobe.   I would do that, but I am afraid that I may embarrass myself as being the only one that ever asked for something like that.   Or they would accuse me of misusing their software.
