Making a color flow?

Hi there!
I just recently downloaded Adobe Flash to complete a school project I was assigned. My assignment is to make an animation of the Circulatory system. After starting, everything was going great but then I came across an issue, I couldn't really make flowing blood (A color that flows through veins) which was pretty much half the animation... Anyone have help. (I'm using latest version of Adobe Flash)
Just a side note, I came across a video which had the blood (Color) fade into the colorless veins. That might sound a bit confusing so here's the videos:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3ZDJgFDdk0 (From 0:45 to 0:57)

The majority of animation is technique. To set up a very simple animation of flow you can do that by using masks.
A mask limits what you see to a certain area. If you mask the veigns then you could slide a picture behind it and the picture would only show up behind the veigns. The rest would be "masked" out. That could give you the look of a flow.
Anything beyond that to a new flash developer is going to be too complex.
If this is an assignment, I would just look up masks, prepare to read and try mask tutorials and then you will have your animation.

Photoshop CS6 color flow problem

Hey there!
I have returned once again to these forums because I seek help with Photoshop. I haven't used PS in a few months so it might be just me not remembering the correct settings OR a technical problem, but I seem to be having problem with color flow...
Here's what happens: Whenever I select a normal hard brush and try to paint with it the color flow stays the same and only becomes noticeable at around 20%, merely on the edges of the brush. On top of that the color values stay the same in the middle of the line I draw when flow is between 100% and 10%. I've tested and confirmed this with eyedropper tool.
However if I just click with the brush and don't drag it along the canvas the flow works just fine anywhere between 100% and 1%. Because of this it's impossible to mix colors on screen and shade artwork properly. I don't know if I need to check/uncheck certain settings, but I can't seem to find a reason why it's acting like this, nor can I fix this on my own. Could there be a problem with my tablet?
I really hope someone can help me with this. I've searched the internet for answers but couldn't find any so my last resort was to write on official Adobe forums. Thanks in advance for taking your time and reading my post.

This worked in a way... I did exactly what you wrote, I changed the spacing to 100%(or more) and now the color flow is definitely noticeable no matter what it's value in % is, but my brush stroke turns into a series of connected dots.. I remember reducing the spacing from a default value of 25% to 1% on all of my brushes exactly because of this.
If I turn the spacing back down and below 100% to a more reasonable value the dots will start to overlap and the brush stroke will become smoother, but the color flow will become less and less visible as the % of the spacing decreases.
This is the solution I've come up with: In order to compensate for the visible overlapping at larger brush sizes AND keep the color flow functioning I increased the document resolution a few times and then pressed Control + 0 to fit the canvas on my screen. When you have a big canvas the large brush becomes much smaller and you can't really see the overlapping anymore, while still being able to maintain control of the flow of color.
But is that really the only way?
Also, what would you say is the optimal spacing value?

Making dynamic form flow on to next page

Hello,
I am trying to make a dynamic form that is expandable. I have succeeded in creating expanding fields, but have been unsuccessful in convincing those fields to flow on to the next page (which I have added). I have set all the content for my fields to flowed and have allowed page breaks in all of them. I suspect there might be a pagination issue, but I have not found any solid information about how to use it correctly. If I select any option other than the default in pagination (while the subform at the bottom of the page is selected), the whole form disappears. I realize I may have some inherent flaws in my design and will perhaps need to start over, but if anyone had a list of requirements for making things flow to the next page (after a set margin at the bottom of the page, i.e. at 1" from the bottom, the field entry splist, and continues at 1" from the top of page 2), I would be grateful.

I wondered if you might be able to help me solve another flow issue? I've got my form working quite well now, but I', having an issue with the text fields. My fields have captions that ask a question, and the response should be in the field. I wondered if there was a way to make the text fields wrap onto the beginning of the next line as they expand, rather than going onto the next line at the limit of the text field. For example-
What is your favorite color?: (the response continues here and goes all the way to the end and on to the next
line and continues here.
rather than-
what is your favorite color?: text text etc etc
text text text etc etc.
Does that make any sense? Is it possible? Should I throw this to the forum?

SAP RE-FX RERAPP - making Object Cash Flow posting while Partn.Rel. Cash flow gives Error (due to missing House Bank)

We have an issue with the Object Cash Flow makes postings while the Partner.Rel. Cash Flow gives an error due to missing House Bank in the Posting Parameters on the contract.
Result is an double/tripple etc. booking on the Object Cash Flow which not is showing on the Flow Overview in the contract and no booking on the Partner.Rel. Cash Flow.
This goes on until the missing House Bank is corrected.
We want to know if we can block the Object Cash Flow making definitive postings until the original Partner.Rel. Cash Flow is posted.

You can think the 2-Type of posting procedure.
1. You just only manage 'Partner.Rel. Cash flow' of each condition & flow type.
    In this cases, you do not configure "Distribution Formula" on the "Condition type" configuration.
   (RECACUST>Conditions and Flows>Condition Types and Condition Groups)
2. You want to manage both of 'Partner.Rel. Cash flow' and 'Object Cash Flow'. but when you posting this cash flow, if you want to block the Object
   Cash Flow making, you can use 'Enhancements' of the 'RECACUST>Accounting>Automatically Generated Accounting
   Documents>Enhancements>Prevent Object Transfers' as below.
Prevent Object Transfers :
- You can use this BAdI if you want to suppress object transfers (transfer from the contract to assigned rental objects) during periodic posting.
- Implement the method SUPPRESS_TRANSFER_POSTING and set the parameter cf_suppress_transfer there to 'X'.

Making a color pallete/swatch in Photoshop Elements 8 for Mac

Hello,
I don't know much about the color pallete in PE 8 for Mac except to type in the RGB numbers to get a certain color. I work with materials from the Stampin' Up Co.making greeting cards for friends. Stampin' Up have their own colors that they use in their materials, paper, ink stamp pads, etc. I have the RGB numbers for each of these colors, and would like to make a color pallete/swatch in PE 8 for Mac so I don't have to continually type in the RGB numbers to get a specific color. How do I go about doing this?

Making a color changer in Flash?

If anyone can help me. I'm trying to do something similar to

That's very interesting how you got that color selector to
work. good one!
I took a look at the code in your preloader. One thing that
is not right is that you are looping back to frame 2 where the
onEnterFrame is created. That means that you are creating
another onEnterFrame with every loop, (or wrecking the original
one).
I found that if I put your file tinter.swf in my cache, then
the preloader ended and the main file ran. If tinter.swf wasn't in
the
cache then the preloader just gets stuck.
Seems like the loadMovieNum is failing.
Anyway, instead of that you might want to do something like
this to make sure that you don't initialize onEnterFrame more than
one
time..

Making Fireworks colors act more like Illustrators'

I know.. they are two different tools, but at least the colors should be universal. Maybe they are and I don't know how.
I want to:
1. Make the color thumbnails larger like you can in IA
2. Add gradient color swatches to the panel like you can in IA. Does FW even have the ability to have gradient color swatches?

Anything you save as a style will be accessable in the styles panel. Here's how to do it. Add the gradients, effects, colors you want to an object and while it isstill selected, open the styles panel menu and choose New Style. It will be added to the "Current Document" styles. Once that has happened, open the styles panel menu again and choose Save Style Library. Whenever you want to use your custom styles, load them in the panel by choosing Import Style LIbrary from the menu.
You cannot add styles or gradients to the Swatches panel.
To save a desktop, click on the menu button at the top right of the FW GUI and choose Save Current. The only means I know of to delete a desktop is to write over it by saving a new one with the same name as the one you want to delete.

Making a color darker than 100%

Hello,
OK..I have an RGB color and in the color panel, I can use the percent slider to make it ligher than it is. 100% being the darkerst and then going to to lower values ot make the color 75% of itself etc. etc... But, what If I want the color to be say 35% or 75% darker than it is.
Is there any way to do this?

For RGB the kuler extension will do this nice and simple. It has a brightness scale. It comes with CS3, but it's online, too. http://kuler.adobe.com

Making a color transparent

Hi all
i am designing a software that visualises property prices of houses. so i have images of houses all over the map. what i want to do is when i click a certain button, it shades the most expensive houses with dark red and least expenses houses with lighter red.
the problem i am facing is that, once i try to shade over the area of where a house image is, the house image disappears. the color is put in the fore ground and the house image disappears, so i was wondering if there is any way to make a color transparent so that the shade of red can be seen as well as the image of the house

Making a color transparent in many layers

I'm using Photoshop Elements 5.0
I want to create an animated gif using many layers of jpegs. Each layer is a picture of the earth (round) surrounded by the color black to the edge of the jpeg (square). However, I would like to make the outer border of black the transparent color.
How can I easily make the color black the transparent color in all the layers of the gif, such that when the globe rotates on a white page the black is transparent?

Making Page Items Flow on to the Next???

Hi everyone,
My website is going to have products that are sorted
alphabetically from A - Z. Each page will have a total of 10
products. The products towards the beginning will be the ones that
were added most recently. Now, what I want to accomplish is this:
Every time I add a new product I want the last product on
that page to flow on over to the beginning of the next page and the
last product of that page to flow on to the next and so on. This
way every page will have a total of 10 items except the last page
which will have any number lower than 10, when it reaches that mark
l will create a new page for those to flow on over to.
I have no idea how to go about this so if anyone could point
me in the right direction, or even give me a term for what this is
called I would HIGHLY appreciate it. I haven’t created the
site yet but I can tell you that it’s going to be a simple
static site.
P.S. If I haven’t explained what I want to get done
well please tell me.

Making adjusted color settings the camera default

Hey guys,
I calibrated my monitor last night and now I'm working on calibrating my camera.
I just went though shooting a Gretag color chart with my camera and adjusting aperture's "color" dialog box to make the external chart and the now captured chart match as closely as possible. How would I go about setting these slider settings as the default? I've tried "Set as camera default, but something tells me its not capturing the colors I have changed. When I import new images the color setting preset is not automatically applied.
Ideas?

Can't help you with the presets, I have never used them. About the calibration, I have the notion that one always has to calibrate the light source together with the sensor, so any camera calibration you perform is only valid for one given light source.
When I care about exact reproduction (and not just artistic effect) I just shoot a grey card. This only 'calibrates' the overall hue. But I don't think it possible to much else with a calibration by hand (not using sensors and algorithms as with hardware display calibrators).

Why is Recolor Artwork panel making bad color conversion choices?

A Color Group is dbl clicked in the Swatches Panel.
The Recolor Artwork Panel opens.
Selecting the button that 'Limits the Color Group to Colors in the Swatch Library', 'Pantone+Solid Color' is chosen.
Often, a singlePantone color is badly chosen... note the 3rd and far right color choices...
is there a variable in Illustrator or a Color Profile issue that needs adjusted?

but I did try doing the same conversion using
a different and more accurate result using 'Pantone+SolidUncoated' as the destination (see below)
Still convinced it's a Color Settings issue.
I'd like the automated solution has to be more accurate... I can see the difference.

Computer Making Weird Colors on Login Screen

HP Pavilion dv7 Windows 10 Home 64-bit On login today, I was seeing some really messed up colors. But after signing in/waiting on the login screen, they seemingly disappear. Here is a video of it. So far it's only impacted the login screen and not the actual desktop.

the connects between the screen and the actual phone are dodgey so you will need to take it to a repair centre of some sort unless you can fix it yourself which will be very hard
